Review:I liked this book. Why? Because Louis L'Amour liked to read in the same way that I like to read. Just whatever caught his attention at the moment, or even whatever was available to read wherever he was at any time. No program or agenda. And he had the same motives as I do- he simply wanted to engage in the human experience, to learn more about people: our history, our psychology, what we do and why. He wasn't a very sophisticated guy. He doesn't analyze any one writer for much more than a... Read more

Review:First of all, the book is gorgeous. The pages are of good quality and the illustrations are amazing. And it is a additional stimulus for understanding the concepts that you're currently reading. The book enriched my feeble knowledge on the creative process of storytelling.
On the back of the book it says something about "Essential for any aspiring or intermediate writer,....". I disagree. I think it's pretty accessible for any person that are curious about the subject. My knowledge is pretty ... Read more
Review:First let me say I love the Living Language series. I am huge language enthusiast and I have used many of Living Language's products (Living Language Arabic, Ultimate Arabic, Ultimate French, both versions of Living Languages for Hindi, Spoken World Farsi) and although I love them they are not always good. Review:This was my first purchase after I decided to learn Korean. I studied on my own with these books for 3 months and was perpetually confused. Their explanation of the rules of liaison and the difference between 있다 and 이다 were less than helpful. There were never enough details and I had difficulty finding answers to my many many questions. I never progressed past the first book and almost gave up studying. I found online conversation partners and they led me to TTMIK.com where you can get FREE... Read more
Review:As a person that has a excellent education but never seems to remember what I want to, this is a great chord wheel. I can concentrate on experience sound and structure instead of trying to remember everything with the turn of a wheel and a good understanding of how to use it. Has directions and is great for what cords to play when you choose a key. Also will help you in the proper ear for writing songs. Simple easy to use with basic knowledge. Read more
Review:This is an excellent source for finding free or better paid services than Kindle Unlimited (KU). The author gives you the name and description of some of the other free e-book apps, and some apps that cost similar to KU but have better selections of best selling books, that really make me feel foolish for spending $120 a year for KU. Review:A classic from my childhood first experienced through the Disney movie. This was quite a bit different yet all the better for it. I recommend to both the science fiction fan and the lover of history. Written about 1873 it's amazing how much things haven't changed in travel and in people. Read more
Review:Love the clarity and freedom from the rigid followership of Strunk & White...even though I still refer to that guide regularly, like millions of others. Appreciate a new guide for the current age! & one that is actually interesting to read! Read more
