Review:The only gifts we exchange in my family during the holidays are gifts of the heart. So, I decided to surprise my 33 year old daughter -- who now has her own young son -- by reading from the book "that I had read more times from cover-to-cover than any other book in my life." When I reached into my bag and pulled out "The Best Nest," tears of joy came to her eyes. Then, much to my surprise she jumped up and pulled her own old tattered copy from her bookshelf, which I had read to her so many times... Read more
Review:I have been to a number acupuncturists over the years in various communities, some were chiropractors and some were OMDs. The Pictorial Atlas is a must-own book for the serious acu-student or the dedicated client who's performing their own self-acupuncture under the guidance and tutelage of their health professional. The meridians are very well-documented. Each point has a thorough description including location, insertion technique, properties, application and peculiarities along with typicall... Read more
Review:Good detail and assistance especially for camping and recreational activities. Would have liked one page maps of the inner major cities such as LA and SF but otherwise very pleased with purchase. Very timely delivery to other side of world. Read more
Review:This map is quite thorough. Shows elevation, and quite up to the minute roads and highways. I wish it came in a spiral back, to make it easier to open the pages, and put less wear on the map itself. Read more
Review:The jokes are pretty funny. Pretty much all of the jokes actually have to do with a Dad. People say my humor is a "Dad joke" so i thought the book was metaphorical for being cheesy jokes, not actually DAD jokes. Haha but its still corny either way so I'm not mad. It's for my dad for christmas so I think he will like it Read more
Review:These book was a best seller when published and I can see why/ Great insights to the way Chinese think and the dynamic of their families. If you missed it when it first came out-read it now, it is still a great book. Read more
Review:We purchased this book for our travels to Ecuador. We never left the hotel without it! We had bare minimum Spanish speaking skills and with the help of this book we could communicate much easier! Highly recommended. Read more
Review:Fabulous book! The structure is clear and the writing is witty. I love the fact that there are matching templates available for download.
I'd recommend buying the digital version since there are embedded links that don't work well if you're reading the hard copy. Read more
Review:I'm probably really not going to say anything new to contrast all the other reviews of this book. It's a great work that is truly inspirational and offers, through a substantive narrative fiction, a justification for trying to be as awesome and happy as possible at all times. Definitely worth the read. Read more
Read more
