Review:This is an excellent text for anyone interested in Esoteric teachings from ancient times onward. The author covers just about anything you've heard of and probably a lot that you haven't. The color plates and illustrations are excellent and there is an amazing amount of information packed into this book. One problem arises, however: some of the information is outdated when newer discoveries are taken into account. The author wrote the book something like 80 years ago and though it's been... Read more
Review:In Knut Hamsun's Hunger, the narrator and protagonist roams the streets of Kristiania (Oslo) and searches for food and later lodging. A writer of questionable success, he submits his writings to a journal but rarely gets the story accepted. Without money, he often doesn't eat for days.
As we read the novel, we dwell into the mind occasionally delusion of a man trying to maintain his dignity in poverty. Though he had no food, he gives money to children and vagrants. And though he fancies a... Read more
Review:The book arrived on schedule and in excellent shape. As to content, the book is very informative. Haven't finished it yet, but what I have read is excellent. To implement many of the initiatives, you pretty much have to already have a location established. More of a bug out phase 2 and 3. Even if you don't have a permanent location set up it is still very much worth reading and having on hand. Read more
Review:It's a love story, and it has everything: bandits, highwaymen, corrupt judges, criminal masterminds, heroes, villains, faithful friends, lovers, betrayals, robbery, murder, mines, runaway carriages, and beer for breakfast. It's written in classic 19th-century prose style, so don't be put off by the slow start. Slog through it, tough it out, fall it love with the great John Ridd and the beautiful robber's child, Lorna Doone. Set in Exmoor, it's based on historical events. The Ridd farmhouse exist... Review:What an incredible book! Michelle Dresbold's book always kept me wanting more. As I reached the end of the book I couldn't help but want to know more about what you can tell from crossing T's and dotting I's. And speaking of I's, they can tell a lot more about you than you would think; they explain your relationship with your parents, your confidence level and more. How? Well, you may just have to order this book to find out! Dresbold uses humor, personal stories about her involvement with the F... Read more
Review:This is an excellent book for anyone just learning how to cook through the occasionally cooker. This book goes into detail in many situations where most authors generally assume the user knows how, which like I mentioned is greatly beneficial to anyone new in the kitchen and I even found a couple of tips that helped me. Review:Buying these books is ridiculous when you can rent them. We're broke college students so why spend $100+ on a book you barely use? This book was in such great condition the access code wasn't even scratched. I won't be scratching it and using it because I'm not sure of that voids the rental but it was nice to see. Don't buy text books unless it applies to your major and can be used for later reference. Otherwise you may end up like me with a stack of text books the school wouldn't buy back! I wi... Read more

Review:Cameron obviously intends with this book to offer motivation for writers, would-be writers, and, interestingly, everyone else too, since she firmly believes that EVERYONE is a writer at heart and everyone SHOULD write. I don't think everyone should be a writer any more than everyone should be a dog trainer (it has nothing to do with talent, by the way, and everything to do with doing what you LIKE). Once you get past that premise, is her advice for freeing up your writing useful? What she t... Read more
