Review:Title: Unforgiven
Author: Lauren Kate
Age Group: Teen/Young Adult
Genre: Fantasy/Romance
Series: Fallen, book six
Star Rating: 4 out of 5 Stars
I borrowed this book from my local library and reviewed it.
Okay, so I'll start this review with some brutal honesty here: I really didn't like the Fallen series. Sucks, but it's the truth. Basically, Cambriel was the only character I really cared about in the whole thing--so imagine my delight when I disc... Read more
Review:This was a great start to the series. It was a little violent and graphic for my tastes but good story. However I can't believe how expensive the fourth book in the series is. Luckily my local library was able to get it for me. Read more
Review:This book was awesome. The series kept getting better and better as the story moved forward. I will say this was a much darker series than Legend was, but it was very very good and it just shows what a great author Marie is!! This story truly displayed how you should always look for the best in someone and never give up. It was heart breaking, but fantastic! I loved it and can't wait to see what Marie is up to next. Review:A great book and very well written.
Haney took alot of heat for doing so but that's to be expected.
My only confusion came about when Haney described hunting down and killing a former U.S. Special Forces sergeant named Baez in Honduras.
Baez was actually captured alive during the battle of Yolo Valley and taken to a small Honduran airstrip where his capture was reported. Nicaraguan by birth Baez returned to Nicaragua after serving in the U.S. Army. He joined the Sandinista... Read more
Review:We should all strive to live as honorably as Salvatore's greatest hero. Drizzt's essays are profoundly moving and thought provoking. If I were to judge R.A. Salvatore by the philosophies and teachings in his Drizzt series, I could only conclude that he is a great man indeed.
In all the years my husband has praised these fantasy novels, I never imagined that they would invoke so much awe and respect. At long last I have succumbed to my husband's pleas and after reading this trilogy I finally u... Read more
Review:Although the Companions are separated from one another again in the story, it allows us to meet and fall in love with some new characters that add a different dynamic to the story, and keep our favorite heroes feeling new and fresh again. Salvatore just keeps getting better and better as this seemingly never ending tale of the Companions of the Hall continues! Read more
Review:(Original Review 3/21/2014)
I love Drizzt books, let's get that out of the way. I swallowed each preceding book reading them during my commute, lunch, evenings and even into the wee hours of the night.
The legacy of the Drow was a great trilogy ruined by this awful piece of dung. This book effectively negates the previous three taking 4 steps back after each previous story took one forward.
(Spoilers ahead)
Easily the most boring and predictable of the stories I've read thus ... Read more
Review:I read this book as a child and it is no less amazing for reading it now as an adult. It never lost its magic. And as I forge further into the series, I can hardly wait for the expected hilarity, moral introspections, and comradery before me. Read more
