Review:This is the albums I purchased to house the quarters purchased from Abon Enterprises via Amazon. This is a heavy duty book they allows you to insert and remove quarters without punching a hole through it. An outstanding book and highly recommended. Read more
Review:Disappointing. I thought this book would be like the Statehood Quarter book where you can view both sides. This book only has the round slot where you press the coin in & it can only be viewed from one side. I purchased this as a gift and found it to be on the cheap side. Read more
Review:It is more for visual presentation. It is small. Not meant to be played with. Snitch is attached to box and does not come off. I got as a gift for someone. She will like it. She can put it on her bookshelf. Read more
Review:Meh, concept is fantastic, I just wish the "eat a bag of dicks" sentiment was present more than once, perhaps in different sorts of backgrounds & scripts already offered in there. Though there were a couple creative pages like "ass badger" & whatnot, some were a little lame & would've been better replaced by some solid standards like "die in a fire" or "blow a cactus" or "get hit by a bus." Perhaps in another addition we will see improvements. Read more
Review:I got interested in gold and silver investing about 6 months ago and have been reading everything I could get my hands on. After a few books you start to see that there is a ton of common information shared between the majority of the material out there and I wasn't sure what I was going to get from Hunter Riley. I was extremely impressed with the amount of information and research I found in his book. It covers all the basics and the the fundamentals you need to know as well as the dos and don'... Read more
Review:I too eagerly anticipated reading this book, since I went through an apron-sewing blitz this summer. I was a bit disappointed, however. Although the photos and instructions are helpful (for seamsters more accomplished than myself), the tone of the book is reactionary, with negative statements about working mothers and a lot of nostalgia for the Ozzie and Harriet era. Although Geisel celebrates the rebirth of the domestic arts, she praises the home-as-nest (enclave of traditional domesticity) rat... Read more
Review:These sticker/miniature kits were perfect for our Harry Potter party. My 16 year old niece had a HP themed party and we needed "cool" gifts for game winners. These kits were a perfect fit. The kids loved them. Read more
Review:I have purchased editions of this book before and would have graded out at five stars however this edition (Kindle Version) is missing U.S. mint issues. Primarily in the non-circulated coins, specifically in the $1 American Silver Eagles the years 1996 through 2004 are missing. Additionally the 2012 Infantry Silver Defender of Freedom Set, the 2014 50th Anniversary Kennedy Mint Set, the 2014 4 coin Kennedy Silver Half Set, the 2014 3/4 oz Gold Kennedy Half Dollar, and the 2015 225th U.S. Mar... Review:A great book for determining the value of old and modern coins. Includes all coin ratings and values by coin condition. Includes very detailed photos on each page. This is a very good reference for both the amature and the serious coin collector. A must have if you are new to coin collecting. Read more
Review:The Man Who Loved Books Too Much by Allison Hoover Barlett is a fascinating true crime book about a man, John Gilkey, who "collects" rare books by stealing them. The twist in the story is that Gilkey steals the books not for profit, but for personal edifice. In hot pursuit of Gilkey is rare book dealer Ken Saunders. And rounding out this picture is the author Hoover Barlett who becomes Gilkey's trusted confidant.
The Man Who Loved Books Too Much is an interesting read on two levels. First... Read more
