Review:I can barely put this book down, it's so fascinating. Ironic though that I'm sucked in reading about people being productive, because after 20 minutes of browsing I certainly haven't achieved many of my own goals. I will say that it's the best bathroom reading book ever. Pick it up and flip through, read one or two rituals, and you're out of there. If at some point in the future I die and you're one of my biographers reading this, you totally have permission to say one of my rituals was reading ... Read more
Review:This book is full of valuable and uptodate information. I've since bought her other book "Food Rules" which I feel is also an excellent book to guide you on health and nutrition. I've since bought the book for all of my children Read more
Review:This memoir was not compelling or revealing. I had expected more given the general reader and editorial reviews and the fact that Caldwell is a Pulitzer winner for criticism. Who would guess that someone who reads, analyzes, and writes about the quality of the writing of others would put together such a dull and evasive memoir? The most I can say for the writing is that it was grammatically sound.
There were surely elements of Caldwell and Knapp's lives that would have been fascinating... Read more
Review:I'm not sure all transformations are good but this one has been remarkable. After reading Sex at Dawn I can honestly say that my world view, my life has changed. That doesn't happen often and I thank Chris and Cacilda for this ground breaking read. Read more
Review:With enthusiasm I began reading this book. Immediately I soaked in all the information and began applying it in my daily life while interacting with the opposite sex and with the same sex. I noticed that others noticed a difference in me. My confidence exploded within days. I am currently communicating with 4 different women. As long as you do not abuse the hidden secrets in how to become a better man, you'll be fine. I highly recommend this book. I love this book, and I continue to study the bo... Read more
Review:I bought this book and have thus far been very satisfied with the content and information. It has helped me see a new side of my dad who is dealing with this disease at the young age of 55. I would recommend this book. Read more
Review:This book is ok. I've had it for a while and still haven't finished it.
I found it bit "medical" and speaks more than I thought necessary about the brain functions such as the hippocampus, amygdala, etc. Read more
Review:This book may be pretty good but it was not exactly what I thought it would be. It is more about anorexia and bullemia than overeating. I really haven't gotten into it enough to give it a great review, so I was a bit disappointed. Read more
Review:This is a book that is not for everyone. This is as true as the fact that Tim Grover's teachings and program are not for every athlete. However, if you are now doing well but want to raise your game or business to another level, you cannot lose reading this book. I recently finished the book and have started reading it again. It is all about getting yourself into a zone of focus and determination to be the best you can be. If you are doing well but know that you have room to improve and grow, Ti... Read more
Review:This is the first review I have ever written. Normally I am the one who reads others reviews but never leaves one myself. This time I feel compelled to give my opinion because I am not a father or a male. I am female, newly married and trying to have kids. I know this book is entitled Raising Men and is geared towards fathers but I read it anyways.
I am giving it 5 stars because it doesn’t just to speak to men or how to raise sons . It is easy to apply most of what Eric says to raisin... Read more
