Review:Refreshing to have a science and evidence exploration of drug use vs. abuse (all too often we assume these are synonymous).
The personal perspective that Dr. Hart provides insights to the structural societal issues that are often more responsible for outcomes than the actual drug use or abuse.
A very timely discussion for those of us who have lived through the War On Drugs and seen only dire results. More victims from the Anti-Drug War than from the drugs themselves. Read more
Review:Well researched and well written look at what small town life has become like in the early 21st century. The book is about the changes in rural America that leads to a drug epidemic; a "war on drugs" does not fix this problem. Read more

Review:I had misplaced the first printing of this book and wanted another. I've recommended it to so many people. It's easy to follow and one can successfully adapt each one of the Principles for happiness into his or hers own life. There are enough specific examples that enable the reader to strive for and achieve this state of happiness. It has helped me through the years, through many changes, and I continue to use the book to refresh what I've already learned. Read more
Review:After finishing the Eades program I didn't lose much weight (<5 lbs) but I did lose almost 2 inches off my 51 year old middle, so I have to pronounce the experiment a success. And, if followed strictly, I would be very surprised if most people didn't have the same result. I wasn't after weight loss, I viewed this as a liver detox program. And a very intriguing one at that. The medical rationale portion of the book is very interesting and readable. Since other reviewers have gone into the... Read more
