Review:A great book. An excellent analysis of the history and culture of Islam. Identifies many of the inconsistencies of the religion. Useful for any comparative religion course, politician, academic, or journalist. Too liberal for many liberals, it is a well researched treatise of enlightenment. Read more
Review:I appreciate Mr. Nawaz's journey and his sharing that with us. Ever since 9-11 I have been trying to understand the "why" of radical Islamist thinking.....in particular how relatively well educated middle class young men could decide to follow a path with the devastating results we have seen. Review:Personal integrity is difficult to maintain when working with the Nation's secrets. General Hayden strikes me as a man of integrity whom I should continue to trust. Review:-- Months before the latest Iraq war, the CIA recruited 30 Iraqi-Americans to visit their families and approach members of their families involved in that country's nuclear or WMD program. Every one of the thirty returned to America and reported the same message to their CIA contacts - the WMD programs had been dead for a decade. Their message was promptly ignored.

Review:Wow. This book explains quite well why we have the problems in America that we do. This was a bit of a tough read for me with all of the names, dates, facts, and figures. Hopefully everyone reads it so we can stop blindly following these people. Read more
Review:I liked the individual accounts of the soldiers. It was real and I learned so much that I was just not aware of both the lives of the Jewish people
