How Donald Trump Orchestrated a Revolution - The Making of the President 2016

Review:Book does a great job outlining the timing and tactics that Trump used to pull off one of the biggest upsets in election history! What Trump has accomplished and Stone documented is truly a revolution. Read more

How I Learned The Truth About The Democrat Party - The BIG Black Lie
How I Learned The Truth About The Democrat Party - The BIG Black Lie

Review:I received the book in the mail this afternoon. Starting reading it and didn't put it down until I was finished. It should be mandatory reading for all high school students! His story shows us that we are so much alike, no matter the color of our skin. It's the content of our character! A must read... Read more

The Autobiography of Nelson Mandela (Mti) - By Nelson Mandela Long Walk to Freedom
The Autobiography of Nelson Mandela (Mti) - By Nelson Mandela Long Walk to Freedom

Review:The writing is very concise and easy to follow. There are a lot of facts and names but it only adds to the reading and does not hinder the progress. This is really a story about love and hardship to win a goal that all should be able to enjoy. It is enlightening and terrifying at the same time. Read more

Meditations to Heal Your Life
Meditations to Heal Your Life

Review:I have found this meditation book to be extremely refreshing. It always seems to be in line with what I am going through. I especially love that it has a table of contents in the beginning so I can just look up what it is that I am struggling with and flip right to it. The messages are unbelievably accurate. Louise Hay has a profound way of speaking into the lives of others. I work at a halfway house for chemically dependent women who struggle with various life issues on a daily basis. I have ma... Why Bad Behavior is Almost Always Good Politics - The Dictator's Handbook
Why Bad Behavior is Almost Always Good Politics - The Dictator's Handbook

Review:If you’re interested in social sciences and how people relate with government, this is a great read for you. This was one of the sources I used to write my college thesis.

Easy to read through and has a great political background. The authors tend to place themselves as observers without trying to influence the reader to a certain ideology. Read more

63 Documents the Government Doesn't Want You to Read
63 Documents the Government Doesn't Want You to Read

Review:This appears to be an extremely interesting book, however I have to rate it low because it's mostly illegible. For whatever reason, the publisher decided to make the pages of the entire book look dingy and most of the regular print is blurred (I guess to give the piece a more mysterious or secretive look). There are very many copies of declassified documents included in the book, but they're mostly in very tiny print and/or very blurred print (like you're looking at copies of copies of copies - ... Propaganda
Propaganda

Review:Despite some spelling errors, this is one of those books that helps one put things together, if one is predisposed to such things. The book is also instructive in that it shows how far advertising and public relations has veered from ethics. I recommend this book. Read more

Two Parties and a Funeral--Plus Plenty of Valet Parking!--in America's Gilded Capital
Two Parties and a Funeral--Plus Plenty of Valet Parking!--in America's Gilded Capital

Review:I googled Mark Leibovich and realized that his article about Kurt Bardella was the same as one he wrote the NY Times. I then realized this article about Tom Coburn also seemed to be the same as another article.

There are some aspects of this book that are interesting (did you know Bob Kerrey was offered the MPAA job before it went to Chris Dodd?) But at the end of the day, make sure you know what you are getting into before you buy it. Read more

Undercover Dispatches from a Dying Regime - Armed Madhouse
Undercover Dispatches from a Dying Regime - Armed Madhouse

Review:Can you say "home-grown facism"? We got to repair our method of law-making in this country. Big Money lobbyists are running this government and have been for too long. "By the people and for the people" has become a thing of the past. I hope you sell a billion of your book and maybe a few of them will see the light. Read more

Resisting Trump's Shock Politics and Winning the World We Need
Resisting Trump's Shock Politics and Winning the World We Need

Review:Once again Naomi Klein uses her knowledge of shock and awe and the current political situation to educate us and even guide us toward a possible positive outcome in a climate that appears hopelessly far from our care of our common home. Amazingly current, a must read that keeps the reader looking forward to each page Read more
