Why Being Your Whole Self--Not Just Your Good Self--Drives Success and Fulfillment
Why Being Your Whole Self--Not Just Your Good Self--Drives Success and Fulfillment

Review:Not at all what I expected. A relatively quick and engaging read with numerous useful insights on dealing with the non-positive side of our life. " In the failure condition, the optimists were far more likely to write off failure as inevitable. Framing an event as an inescapable failure makes it easier to digest." Should be more than a little for most everyone to take away from this book. One of the few of this genre worth shelving for a reread. Read more

Slash your mortgage with a proven system the banks don't want you to know about
Slash your mortgage with a proven system the banks don't want you to know about

Review:I knew about this strategy 7 years ago through the original founder/ inventor of Harj Gil which I saw from a commercial. He brought this system to the US and now copy cats are charging at least $3500-$5000 such as replace your mortgage, truth in equity, the pill method for his concept. If you want to maximize this hack to work for you I suggest you go pay his site a visit, speedequity.com. Harj's book however is not as easy to understand as this one. When I read this book that's when I finally... Read more

The Twenty-five Rules of Considerate Conduct - Choosing Civility

Review:This is an interesting read, I'm actually reading through it for one of my uni classes and I'm not disappointed at all about paying for this book. This should be required reading for kids growing up, civility is not a common as you would hope unfortunately. Some of the ideas outlined in this book seem like common knowledge, but I would recommend it none the less. Read more

and How to Change the World (John Perkins Economic Hitman Series)
and How to Change the World (John Perkins Economic Hitman Series)

Review:The author shares some interesting anecdotes and has some interesting perspectives, gained from an unusual perch. However, the prose is very bulky and difficult to get through and the writer's voice is annoying, filled with over-generalizations and self-aggrandizement. The author credits himself with having been much more plugged into the power structure than he could possibly have been and credits himself with having more insight into the world than he likely has. and Change the World (Perigee Book.) - Live the Life You Want

Review:It was refreshing to know that there are other people out there with the same way of thinking as me. Growing up in a military household and currently being in the military you tend to be surrounded by people who all think the same way and very few speak up to express what they really feel. This book made it simple in reminding me do what makes me happy and those that I love happy. Read more
