Christian Living
Review:This is an amazing book filled with incredible wisdom and insight. John Townsend's best book so far. Extremely useful and practical advice for all types of difficult relationships. It provided a quantum leap in my relational I.Q. on the first reading. Read more
Review:Lots of religious tangents that have absolutely nothing to do with the topic. However, if you can sift through all the dogmatic rhetoric and identify the portions written from the author's professional experience, you'll find a few really awesome nuggets that will have a positive effect on your relationships. Review:I really enjoyed this book. It just showed me that taking time to improve myself is the best step for me at this moment. This book opened my eyes to mistakes I was making in all my relationships. I need to be a whole woman for the Man that God has for me !!! Read more
Review:I have been dealing with an adult niece (daughter of my deceased brother) for 2 years now. Unbeknownst to me, I had become an enabler to her on and off drug use and in general. This book spoke straight to me--gave me so much insight about how to deal with her from this point on. Highly recommend to anyone whose heart is breaking after trying to "help" your dysfunctional adult children!! Read more
Review:A concise recapitulation of what I have been going through over the last 2 years. So, a very personally relevant book and topic. Thoroughly enjoy the words and works of Cloud, Townsend, Chapman, Ortberg, Thich Hahn among others. They are able to put into words what my intuition had been telling me.

Wanderers
Liars
Judges
Strongmen
Men for whom their only friend is their spouse. Or girlfriend. Or slew of girlfriends. And men for whom pornography (there, I said it...) and other sexual outlets are the drug of ch... Read more
Review:For parents new to trying to cover their children in prayer this book is a must read. It helped me to put God's will for my children first in my prayers instead of my own. It also expanded what I was praying over for my children and helped me learn how to pray more in depth and detail. Read more
Review:I was unaware that this is a heavily Christian book, with a number of Bible passages and the text being quite founded in Christian theology. (See p. 125, for example)
That said, it's only my fault that I was unaware of what kind of book it is... but in case... Read more
Review:I really enjoyed H3 leadership. Many of the habits are common sense but I liked how the author connected the material in a more personal way. I also like the fact that he speaks from a Christian perspective. Read more
Review:I liked everything about this book. I was anxious to get home from work and take time to read. Priscilla really captured the story of Jonah. So much was brought. I think that this book would be helpful to anyone. Read more
