Christian Living
Review:Probably one of the most life changing books I have ever read (besides the bible).
Most thankful for how the Holy Spirit wrote through Joshua, not just the words but his own life changes!
Inspirational to say the least!
Glad I read this book, I have given the book to quite a few others and testimonies of changed lives keep
reaching my ears! How do you want to have a Godly relationship? This book tells you how (not just with
a significant other in a relationship but with God!).
Review:Imperfect Courage is a fantastic book! Jessica Honegger is transparent, vulnerable, and so honest! This book takes you on her “journey” of life that God has given her with such great purpose and inspiring me to live out my “journey” with courage, strength, and tenacity!! You will be so inspired! Review:I am "single-again" having been divorced now for two years. It is refreshing to hear Mandy's advice and words of wisdom to even people like me who feel the shame of divorce, but nonetheless find themselves looking for a lasting, God-honoring love. She is funny, clever with her words, and gives lots of tidbits for your bathroom mirror. Highly recommend her book. Read more
Review:Possibly one of the most helpful books for any married man who wants a happy wife and a strong marriage. I found it when I was going through a rough time in my marriage. Although I found three truly helpful resources during this challenging period in my marriage, this book was probably the single most helpful resource of all. When I first began reading, I thought "I don't know about this". But there truly is worthy advice on every page of this book. Even if you are not having marriage trouble, t... Read more
Review:This book contains all the lessons we need to know to lead a successful life. It is a reminder that we learned long ago the lessons we need in Kindergarten to be successful at whatever endeavor we choose. I recently used those lessons with my high school graduating seniors. It is worth repeating because I feel we have forgotten the lessons. Arthur L. Williams Ph.D. Principal Ann Arbor Huron High School. Read more
Review:This book is okay, but I'm occasionally bothered by an underlying assumption that all boys are essentially the same. I've been around plenty long enough to watch and ponder how the men around me turned out. Where they found their place / what way of being was comfortable and right for them. There is much greater diversity in maleness than the author accounts for. Read more
Review:This book is small but gives a lot of information. There are a lot of quotes from other people, but I happen to like quotes. The author makes the book easy to comprehend and I didn't want to put it down once I started reading. I'm looking forward to reading his other books. Read more
Review:While I like the medical information, I don't see the need for Biblical quotes to be included. Unfortunately, I did not read other reviews indicating a Blibical view, and would not have purchased the audio had I done so. I wanted a purely scientific and biological viewpoint, which this was not. So far, after listening to two of the CD's I have yet to hear much of an emphasis except in passing as to how cognition and explanatory style contribute to disease. I will continue to listen, but am s... Read more
Review:The perspective that each person (male and female) who desires to wed should be complete before marriage takes place is worth the cost of the book alone. And there is more...biblically based teaching. Read more
Review:I expected more from this book. The few examples for how one can lead without a title were helpful, but it left me wanting more. Not only in examples was it lacking but in material of how to go about it. I was also disappointed in the lack of spiritual content. I believe many examples could have been mined from scripture, but not even the most obvious ones were mentioned. Perhaps that was in an attempt to not be Biblical; I don't know. I understand when authors want to appeal to non-Christians t... Read more
