Review:Priscilla Shirer is a gifted storyteller who brings the Word to life. Armor of God shows you how to stand firm while you walk out your faith. I will be reading on again just to remind myself of all the precious nuggets of wisdom that she provides. I love how she allows space for you to consider your life. It is a very personal journey. Review:Very repetitive. Very very repetitive. Seems like they took a 2.5 hour speaking session she gave at a conference and tried to break it down into 5 lessons. Not useful to me at this time, but I could see how others could maybe benefit in different life situations. Most of her stuff is really good this just wasn't quite what she normally produces. Review:Interesting read if you're a fence sitter looking how you might integrate Christain faith and Buddhism. I read this book because I am looking how to justify Gods love and compassion and the extreme suffering in the would. This book is a good starting place to understand how Buddhist views and Christian views are different in relation to suffering and compassion for humanity. Read more

Review:You probably need to read this book anyway. I actually knew I did, but wasn't sure what to do about them. This is what sets this book apart. Not only can you identify the type of Mom you have (or more than one type) and the issues and immaturity you may have, but you learn how to become "reparented" into adulthood. The emphasis is not the typical "parent bashing" you get from other books, but a balanced and sensitive approach to becoming a responsible adult. Read more

Review:A largely-good read from Dr. Cloud, there are enough problematic issues that keep it from really taking wings and flying.

The good:
1. Finally, some good, realistic advice from a Christian about dating.
2. Lots of angles are covered, rebuking a lot of the casually offered advice of the Church.
3. Written in an easy-to-understand way that sheds light on the complex inner web that can prevent a person from successfully dating.
