Review:I struggled to read this book but liked the heart of the book. I believe it was about learning to give in everything and every way. It opened my eyes to simple acts of giving. I have started giving not only of money but also from my back yard garden. Instead of growing just enough to feed my family a snack of veggies, I have started growing more than we eat and sometimes more than we can harvest. The effect is I have to give a lot away and it grows relationships with others in a positive way. Th... Read more

Review:Recommended book for all christian's that want to increase their prayers. Jesus was an example that laid a blueprint of how to pray. And you had other men and women of God in different situations praying to God. This book is very practical and scriptural base on different prayers. Read more

Review:While I am not of his particular religious persuasion I found the book right on and fascinating. Christianity needs to wake up and be for the masses and not the few and this book details what is going on. I found his work thoughtful, with real intent and it woke me up to some of the realities I have been feeling. It is my first Eldridge book but wont be my last. It is provocative and timely and a must read if you care whats happening to our world. Read more
Review:I have several other Eldredge books and love them all. Maybe its just me, but I couldnt connect with this one. It started out great, discussing holiness and the purpose of Christianity. Unfortunately, John then seemed to go off down a rabbit trail discussing Jesus' attributes which I found to be a serious overlap of material covered in Beautiful Outlaw. Read more
Review:This book is great for parents! It has already made a difference on my home. But it isn't for wimps or fly by night parents. If you can't be consistent in your own behavior and attitude, don't waste your money. Read more
