Christian Living
Review:This is the workbook that corresponds with the Experiencing God book.
Very easy to read and understand. Almost childlike in its approach. What I do like is that the day's work is cut short. There is not hours upon hours of reading necessary to understand what is going on, however, I would have preferred maybe a bit more work in each day. Some days were really short and I wanted to delve into the workbook more.
This also assumes that you have the DVD and a group to work with. I had ... Read more
Review:Hope Heals is a painfully, beautifully written story. I immediately noticed and experienced the intimate relationship both couples had with Jesus as the chapters were identified by their names. This book touched me in the most intimate ways, as I am a Christian mother or 3 kids...but life is unpredictable and full of blessed surprises when one 'suffers' physically. This book only challenged me to have faith and hope for the unseen. I will pray that this book and ministry touches many lives for C... Read more
Review:Francis and Lisa Chan did an incredible job writing this book. If you are single, in a relationship, married, young, old, or so on, this is a great book to read. Review:Great book. Challenging as well. I've read all of Mr Batterson's books and find his writing style engaging and he has a way simplifying questionable Biblical issues.
Can't wait for his next one. Get to work Mark??? Read more

Review:I generally enjoy Mark Batterson's books; however, this was not one of my favorites. Note that there was nothing wrong with the writing or the subject matter. It just wasn't what I was expecting or looking for. Read more
Review:I read this "the cliff notes" for a book suggested by my bible study (we had the workbook and I mistook this for the accompanying book)
It really is a good acaccompanying book for the workbook but wish I hadn't ordered the wrong one!! Read more
Review:Very thought provoking. I really enjoyed the biblical examples of people following the Holy Spirit. Really needed the reminder that just because things don't always go the way I want doesn't mean that I'm not right where the Spirit is leading me! Read more

Review:Building a Bridge reminds us that Jesus' central message is one of welcome and inclusion. With his usual clarity and sensitivity, Father Martin provides a framework for a respectful, mindful dialogue that is long overdue in the Catholic Church. A quick read, but one with profound meaning.
