Ideologies & Doctrines
Review:This book is for anyone who considers himself a conservative (and if you have a problem with the pronoun i just used that just proves you are NOT one). But I warn you, it is tough medicine. And much like that Ipecac syrup often featured in cartoons back when cartoons where violent and racist and awesome, many conservatives are going to retch and reject this.
They shouldn't. I loved William F Buckley and followed National Review Online all through my early 30's. Spent hours and hours (when I s... Read more
Review:I was hesitant to purchase this book because the title led me to believe that this was just a rehash of The Road To Serfdom. Instead, it turns out to be a philosophical work that in my opinion would be more accurately titled The Extended Order as opposed to The Fatal Conceit.
The book mostly deals with the concept of the extended order, which is basically the idea that in addition to our genes, our morals and politics come from an evolutionary process which is much too complicated to be ... Read more
Review:Ann Coulter never disappoints. Well researched, well written and always amusing. Ann skewers the NY Times, Keith Oberman and the rest of the left's attack dogs by pointing out the huge holes in their logic and the huge lies in their ever changing "historical" narratives.
They hate her for the very things that make me love her books, her attitude and her inescapable wit. You go girl! Read more
Review:As always, a thoughtful, funny dismissal of socialist tactics. I remember how Reagan would announce a funding change in the afternoon, and within hours, CNN would have a string of 'victims' showing their suffering... even though the change would not go in effect till months later. The MSM's love affair with Bush haters was great. Remember Linda Ronstadt? The only way she normally could get press is by dying or getting arrested... until she says something bad about Bush! Review:Raheem Kassam who is a cradle Muslim, produces an intelligent overview backed by verifiable facts to explain to non-Muslim, and to Muslims who are not strictly religious, the full extent of the of No Go Zones in relation to mainstream Islamic global expansion and its correlation to Islam's religious laws, dogmas and aggressive conversion processes. The existing indications that he points to are unmistakably noticeable to anyone who has made aware of their existence. Western security agencies and... Read more
Review:Dr. Kengor writes well with good grammar and syntax. His research appears thorough and his footnotes are copious. I would have rated his work higher but for the fact he notes his earlier works rather than original sources. Read more
Review:Hegemony or Survival continues Noam Chomsky's critique of post-WWII American foreign policy, and puts recent developments squarely in the context of the evidence for American policymakers' willingness to risk the human race's survival in their quest for global hegemony. In the book, Professor Chomsky takes us on a guided tour of various hot spots around the world which he identifies as generating undisputed facts about which, due to the distortions of American politicians and media pundits, our... Review:Excellent and well-written non-fiction book. I learned enough facts, (that I already suspected) to not EVER vote for this person. She only cares for the people to get the vote to be President. Once voted in office, then it's all about her. She has the love for power that is unprecedented in American history. The author backs up everything he writes with interviews and publications, so the reader can be certain they are reading a factual account. I have just read his latest book; "The Amateur: O... Review:This book is simply a scanned/photocopied edition of a previous book. Image quality varies page to page, and there are even section which were apparently underlined in the source book that was scanned. Read more
Review:Understanding that it was written at the time of King Henry VIII, I found the style of writing demanding. What we would know as "run-on sentences" and arcane language usage made it difficult. But, I also found it interesting. Read more
