Review:I have been searching for this book for years. My daughter had a copy but the dog ate the cover and first chapters..so we didn't know what it was called. Thanks to the look inside feature, I was able to compare the book she had with this one to determine that it was the same book. She was thrilled when it arrived. Read more
Review:Most of what he writes is from personal experiences of his own dreams. And after he tells you about the dreams, he doesn't explain the significance, purpose, or why he had them in the first place. This book really is of no use in helping you understand or interpret your own dreams. I gave him 2 stars instead of one only because I like the biblical references. Read more

Review:Dr. Seligman describes some of the causes for depression in his book Learned Optimism. More importantly, Dr. Seligman offers practical advice on changing one's thoughts to become a more optimistic thinker. Thinking more positive thoughts creates chemical changes in the brain that help fend off symptoms of depression. The book is great for people who suffer with bouts of depression. Since some instances of depression are situational, anyone can benefit from this book. Read more
Review:Follow your bliss and the money will follow.
You won't find that phrase in this book. In fact you find pretty close to the opposite - if you don't follow your bliss, your cause, your passion, your purpose, will eat you alive (see especially page 98).
Nordby's core assumption is not only that every single one is necessarily creative - if not "weird" - but that every individual's creativity is essential - not only for each one of us, but for all of us as humans sharing a world that s... Read more
Review:An extremely helpful book. Well written and easy to follow the idea of this often intangible concept of flow. To some degree it provides a great insight for why we do what we do. Flow as the optimal experience transcende our daily activities, religious practices and science.
The book is also very objective about it's limitation, that it does not provide a step by step guidance for how one can achieve flow, as the path is often differs person to person, it depends on a great deal of inner... Read more
Review:I read half the book and cannot find the motivation to continue. I have been having a lot of challenges at work that have caused fear which is preventing me from being myself. I thought this book would inspire me to really go out there and create positive energy inside of me. The 3 stars is because the book is not bad, it does have good insight. But it is not very action-oriented. A solution to becoming more positive is listening to inspirational CDs everyday, namely, Susan's other CDs. I did fi... Read more

Review:such a funny re do of Psychocybernetics. If you have to ask what that is...you are wayyy too young. A good book on self realization and visualization and positive thinking. Review:I bought this book because of the good reviews. I was disappointed. The writer is engrossed in lengthy sublime grammatical language. It was hard to grasp the mission of the book after the first two chapters.I never read so many referenced metaphors in my life. If you're new at the scientific and spiritual comprehension of plant intelligence and can get through the academic jargon and endure this method of writing - you might comprehend some of it. I couldn't help but wonder if the writer was so ... Read more
