I am not a professional photograper in any sense but I love to take beautiful and creative pictures and this guide gives me the tools to do that and take advantage of all of the features packed into that camera. Review:this is a good book for beginners. Some tricks are explained and techniques unveiled. The point is that anyone who means to purchase a good dslr or film camera and spend some hundreds for that should already be aware of what is written in the book. Review:This is a coffee table like book, and during cold winter nights, when there is nothing on television, I find myself flipping through and studying the beautiful photogrpahs. However, it's just photographs. The short stories or descriptions are few and far between. I guess I epxected to read some of Ansel's thoughts about his approach and technique; what was he thinking while composing a picture. I guess I'll need to find another book for that... Read more
