Review:Richard is honest and holds nothing back. Naming names is not something many authors do in famous circles. I was hooked from the first chapter I read and didn't want my journey with him to end. I remember hearing these songs on the radio first hand and wanting more. Sadly I was only in SoCal for a short time as a teen. If you get a chance, pick up this book. It's not just a summer read, it is so much more. So many things to remember about my teen years. Who knew. Read more
Review:Really enjoyed this book, so much that I hated finishing it. Original and thoroughly readable style. Duff comes across as a sincere, genuinely nice guy who gives us a glimpse into his life with and without GN'R. Plenty of history for GN'R fans. Great read. Highly recommend! Read more

Review:Got this for my boyfriend for is birthday. Great condition. I read a little before boxing it back up and I must say even if you aren’t a fan of his music or of rap in general you should read it. It still makes for a good read to get to know him and his past etc. Read more
Review:I absolutely loved this book, I bought it almost 20years ago and bought another copy as I do not like sharing my books and this one my sons etc can borrow it. John's honesty is so very refreshing and I go back and re-read it. Some sad, very loving, tragic but most of all, the story of his life in his own eyes. I highly recommend this book. Read more
Review:Thoroughly enjoyed this. Disappointed by so many reviews saying there isn't enough 'dirt'. I would of been disillusioned if Bruce had written that kind of crap. He tells a great story of growing up in England during the 1960s and 70's. His adventures in music and flying are fantastic. I don't think you need to be a fan (though I am) to get something out of it. I went with Audible for the first time. Glad I did. I can listen on my commute and Bruce reading Bruce's words is just effin' awesome. We... Read more
Review:This book puts you inside Steven Tyler's head like you wouldn't believe. From early childhood on. I've always loved the musician, now I am totally impressed with the man. What a life he led. What a mind! Read more
Review:Honestly, if you're interested in this book, don't waste your money - check it out at your local public library instead. As a fan of Stevie's (and Fleetwood Mac itself) for nearly 4 decades, I expected far better from Stephen Davis than this waste of ink and paper, particularly considering that he collaborated with Mick Fleetwood on his autobiography way back in 1990 (which caused quite a stir with the controversial allegation that Lindsey Buckingham physically assaulted Stevie, which Davis goes... Review:I thought it was interesting. I admire the ambition and drive of Rod Stewart. I thought the book was well written. Probably much more enjoyable to people who like football ( soccer). I would recommend it to people who like biographies of successful people. Read more
