Review:Creed was one of my favorite groups to listen to. When they stopped performing and creating music was a sad day. This audio bio was touching. So many times I would shout out loud "Scott what were you thinking!" but at the end I realized that he too like many of us had his ups and his downs. He too was learning about himself, the business, his friends and how to deal with everyday life. I think he finally discovered that without Christ he would fail and his walk became stronger and this is what k... Read more
Review:Not counting school assignments, this may be my first* official book review:
It's good.
Maybe that's too vague, so let me elaborate:
It's really good.
Still too short?
It's really, really good.
I suppose I could quote the front cover and say:
It's "A Snarky But Authentic Spiritual Memoir".
I heard Susan Isaacs speak at the Polk Theater in Lakeland on July 1, 2011. I enjoyed her humor and talk so much, that I bought her book. I also got her auto... Read more
Review:LOVED this book. I highly recommend this to anyone who considers themselves a fan of Sara Bareilles. Her writing in this book is as moving as her lyrics. I laughed and I cried and I'm sure you will too. Read more
Review:A good read for humbling ourselves, realizing we don’t know as much as we think we do, that we aren’t better than anyone else, and we definitely can never know what someone else has gone through in their lives. With all the left and right, liberal and conservative stuff going on, and blindly following one side with way too much fervor, we really have to stop and actually have a conversation with people who think differently than we do. Also it was hilarious, which is a plus. I love Whitney Cummi... Read more

Review:I thought Eminem would be talking more about his life, growing up and finally giving some instight into his personal life, but instead its a book with alot of pictures that repeats itself over and over. The book took me a day to read thats how little actual writing is in it. If you want a book with alot of pics then this is good for you Read more
Review:This book was interesting and healed my attention quite well. it is not the most interesting book ever, but it was very funny. The great mouse plot was very funny and he was quite a trouble maker. I would recommend this book to anyone who would like a funny, easy read. Read more
Review:Alternating candor and reserve, this book reminded me of the best in Gordon's singing and songwriting. For the past twenty years, she has been such an inspiration to me -- this book only increased my admiration while bringing her humanity to light. Read more
Review:This book was required reading for a multicultural education course I took to receive my teaching certification. This literary text is rich in personal voice and magnifies the mental obstacles and fortitude endured by African Americans of this time. I recommend this book to anyone but also encourage its use in the high school classroom. Read more
Review:I enjoyed reading about Dave's life and what makes him tick. I've always gotten a chuckle from his humor. The book is written as if he's talking directly to you in conversation.
I have more respect for him after reading the book. He owns up to lots of stuff and calls it like he sees it. Good stuff for a celebrity/comedian. Read more
