Review:I aboslutely love this book, it provides a lot of information on Star Wars characters and Lore and is a must for any die hard or casual fan of the series. Beautiful imagery and in depth profiles and timelines this book is every bit worth the price. Read more
Review:Purchased for a young relative who is a avid Star Wars fan-- while he admitted he can't read it easily quite yet, he's really excited about the "handwritten" additions to the book by famous Jedi and Sith characters. It's a very well-made set and seems like the sort of thing that can be read over and over again without being dull. I also think the fact that his uncle and father almost immediately took possession of the books and started reading them = good sign. Read more
Review:I would like to be briefly plain under three subtitles:
- Content: I do not have the other visiual dictionaries related StarWars, however what I have read from the other reviews as well as what I have seen from this one; it has considerably brief and extensive content, in my humble opinion it is rather sufficient for the dictionary which comprises "Entire StarWars Saga".
- Quality: I found the cover of it rather remarkable as well as its pages (It has also got an additional ext... Read more
Review:Ok, parent view: book is holding up well and made a long wait at a doctor's office go just fine...As a Star Wars loving parent, it's accurate and helps with the "stop watching TV and go read a book!" that has to happen from time to time.
If you let your kids watch Star Wars, then you've got nothing in this book to stress about.

Review:I was a bit disappointed, but have always loved watching Richard Chamberlain so just had to read this. The best thing is that he is a happy man and you can tell he worked to find & sustain his happiness. Read more
Review:I really wanted to love this book, because I love Inside Amy Schumer. There were some really good chapters, but also some that I had to skip because they just weren't interesting or funny, in my opinion. I'm not interested in reading about the drawn-out argument Jessi had with her fiance on the trip when they were supposed to get engaged. I was also bored with the "shopping for a wedding dress" chapter, and referring to women as either wolves or poodles just felt petty/vain. The chapter about tr... Read more
Review:Purchased this as a gift for a friend that absolutely adores Wes Anderson, but unfortunately she already had a copy. I ended up keeping the book for myself and it now rests happily as a centerpiece on my bookshelf. It's also great as a coffee table book. Read more

Review:Murch is considered the most influential and effective editors of the last 50 years, and with good reason. He worked on Apocolypse Now, The Godfather trilogy, and many other films. He also successfully made the transition from film to digital media, and had a deep understanding of both the artistic and practical considerations of editing. The book is an adaptation of a lecture, and it shows in the conversational style. Read more
Review:There was a book published by Ominbus Press in 1977 called Clint Eastwood: All American Anti-HeroClint Eastwood, All-American Anti-Hero: A Critical Appraisal of the World's Top Box Office Star and His Films. This fan book traces Eastwood's career up to the Gauntlet in 1977. Although Marc Eliot's book American Rebel takes Eastwood up to present date, we as fans and readers, don't really glean any more insight into Cli... Read more
