Loved this first book in the kindred series. Characters are totally believable and the action and suspense kept me up reading until the wee hours of the morning. Just couldn't put it down. Can't wait to start book two.

Amazing new series for me to get into! Loved this book so much and was super excited to realize that I could also get the second book in the series for free by signing up for email updates. These books were so good that I'm actually buying more in the series. If you're looking for a new series/author to love this is it! Try this one first, you won't be disappointed.

Love, love, love. Everything about this book is absolutely fantastic. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves to read supernatural romance. It has everything from vampires and shape-shifters to ancient warriors and magic.
Kindred (Book 2, The Watcher Chronicles) :: The Kartoss Gambit (The Way of the Shaman Book #2) :: Video Game Plotline Tester (The Dark Herbalist Book #1) :: The Secret of the Dark Forest (The Way of the Shaman Book #3) :: (Sacred Sinners MC - Texas Chapter #2)

Too much inner monolog coupled with too much recap of previous known facts already stated prior. Want to finish series but the constant "filler" is major turn off.
I can't and won't continue reading a book if I can skip more than a few pages of "recap filler" and still be wondering what the point is. Where's this going,!?. Not condemning just stating my opinion and what I feel is worthy of my $ and my time. Plot seemed good just put together poorly.

First we are introduced to the taniwhas which was very interesting as I've never heard of them before but that's all it was- a very in-depth introduction to what I thought was going to be a part of the plot but....no it was a very long and detailed diversion that fell by the wayside as yet another plot diversion was introduced. Yes, she got together with the vampire, which confused me because she kills them in her spare time. But not Michel ????? Not sure how that really came about because there was very little dialogue between them and very little real interaction except for a couple "quickies" . This is a talented author but I would have like to have seen a more threshed out plot that included the taniwhas and some real steamy romance. I was really bored with the whole Egyptian storyline and It just didn't fit the rhythm. It was thrown in and didn't mesh because it was rushed and again not well threshed out.

I gave you three stars because I really liked your book. I do feel that you piggy-backed a lot on Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake series and even a little of the Twilight series. Not bad because those are two extremely popular series but definitely noticeable enough for me to comment on. Great piece of work though!

Not bad, not anything special. Unique ideas but lacking body. Main characters had flat personalities, cliche and lacking foundation. Their relationship is confusing, I can't see why they even like each other. Not a bad read but easy to put down and forget.
