Despite a few spelling errors here and there, I really enjoyed this book. It was filled with such a great plot and storyline. It lead me to buy the next book right away. You won't regret reading this book(and series).

Couldn't put this book done! Captivating! Love the way the story continues from one book to the next without so much repetition like I haven't just read the story already - hint to other writers (lol) sorry gatta go get book 3 now! Captivating......

Would consider this series well written and a great series for teenages. The bibilical references are reasonably well researched and story line well thought out, intergrating modern life with biblical methodologies.
The Kartoss Gambit (The Way of the Shaman Book #2) :: Video Game Plotline Tester (The Dark Herbalist Book #1) :: The Secret of the Dark Forest (The Way of the Shaman Book #3) :: The Karmadont Chess Set (The Way of the Shaman - Book #5) :: Kindred (Kindred, Book 1)

The review contains spoilers for the first book in The Watcher Chronicles. This book teaches us more about where Jesse' parents have been since The Tear. We also see more development and growth in her interactions with Watcher Mason. Chandler and Jesse continue their quests to find the other vessels. The series is rated R, due to some sexual content. I think this is fair. There is definitely the influence of the author's Christianity in the story but like her other works it does not take away from it. I am an atheist but I will say the religious aspects in the story and the role that God plays in various relationships is essential to the story. The religious stuff is not preachy but rather a key part of the story.

I continue to be impressed by the character of Jesse, she is still one of my favourite S.J.West characters. She stands up for what she believes is right and she is assertive and aware of her own needs.

Jess is healing from the sexual abuse as a child. Things seem to progress slowly for her and Mason. She finds 2 friends that are like her. Everything is good, right? Yup, that's when something bad happens, just ask Faison.
I like this series. I think finding the others like Jess, Chandler and JoJo is spread a bit long with as important as the story makes it seem. The story itself is interesting, but slightly long winded in spots. Worth the read, however you really need to read book one to fully understand book two.

Revelations of Jess's early life ,what happened to her , her, parents and her new found feeling , evolving with Mason, and Chandler, make this quite the roller coaster to ride .friendship true love and find vessels all collide in this story and as the books continue and more relationships build you find this appealing fresh exciting and ugly tear s rolled into its pages great read love the series will continue the watcher series is a favorite and its guardian's and descendants books have kept me turning the pages of the series that follow love the stories you step right into and feel like you're living them ,.bitter ,and ugly tears, light laughter, and love, that shines through out . Must keep reading

The first book was funny, full of surprises, and had a great storyline. This book however, seemed to drag. Especially when it came to Jess and her traumatic experience with her uncle. It came up or got in the way of the good stuff at least 7 times. I get it, Jess was molested but why all the sudden is she crying and lamenting over it all the time. Especially when hot as heck Mason is there and she obviously wants to have her way with him. The same theme kept reappearing. Honestly the only thing that was interesting was the tragedy with Faison. Probably won't be reading the rest of the books.

As i read through the previous reviews, I cant help but wonder if they are mostly fakes . I mean, the series isnt horrible by any means but it is far..far..farrrrrrrr from the "best series I've ever read", as several reviewers exclaim. For one, for Gods sake, YOU'RE a writer. Learn the difference between your and you're , their and they're and so on. The grammar is horrible. This is not a case of bad editing, this is a writer who needs to go back to English 101. If your job is to write, then do so correctly. Second, the romance is over done to the point of ne wanting to throw this book out the window. A little romance is great..but half the book is spent discussing ridiculous high school-like drama..in the midst of the world possibly ending..come on..ridiculous! These books are intersting but THEY'RE (not 'their'..see..thats how you do it!) not great . Would only recommend reading if you get it for free.

I absolutely love this series! I thought book 1 was wonderful, but book 2 is even better. The story gets more and more complex, the characters are fabulously depicted, and the end of the book brings the finale to the theme, but also leaves you hanging for the next book. I am definitely reading book 3 right now! Great must read for those who enjoy reading this genre of Angels and Demons.

Meet some new characters, conquer some new questions. This book brings you a lot of the answer you were looking for an book one. And many you didn't even know you needed! This is a great series I am really enjoying it . Each book ends with a cliffhanger so far , definitely makes you want to keep reading … Even if it didn't end in a cliffhanger .

Another agonizing cliffhanger! I'm really glad the complete series is available. Having to wait a year for the next book would have had me moving on to other things. I know this from other series books I have read. I like the characters, the story is interesting, though not a hard to put down kind...on to the next.

Nothing groundbreaking but if you read a lot of books and sometimes have a hard time finding something new to read then I'd give it a try. I like the relationship between the two MCs. Not a bunch of errors to trip you up.

Read the first two...Not continuing. No improvement....
Writing is basic. Gets repetitive. Background story is shallow. Characters are all adults and some even 'ancient', yet personalities are immature, making the relationships juvenile. Heroine is uninteresting and weak, despite author's attempts otherwise.
