This book was amazing. The gripping start to an interesting story. This story of the four horsemen is completely different to the one's written. The characters make this story come to life. Verity makes the story seem real. This book is awesome and a definite read.

This book was one of the most original and intriguing I've read all year. Some of the usual suspects make an appearance: fae, demons and the like, but it's not every day you come across biblical characters in modern times. Verity is a little on the timid side at times but certainly no pushover, and hopefully will continue to come into her own--she'll have to living in a house with the Four Horsemen of the (Non)Apocalypse!

I loved her passion for truth (especially her obsession with conspiracy theories), and I can't wait to see where the story goes from here!

I received an ARC copy. Vee is something special. Finding out her life is a lie throws her into something she can't understand. Loved the story and the potential that Vee has. Can't wait to see what happens in her future!

It's obviously a fantasy, but the speech and thoughts were super annoying, inconsistent and juvenile.
Maybe I would have finished it had I started on a different day, because my need to know what happens normally outweighs my annoyance at the trivial inconsistencies, but this was too much for me.

I was pretty disappointed with this, the female was so whiny. I'm so tired of women being portrayed as crying, whining, and weak . Why can't we be badass? And it wasn't even a full story and left as cliff hanger. I will not be getting part 2.

Would have been great if something of importance to the story actually happened. They meet her save her tell a secret then its over. I knew it was short but I enjoyed the writing and the way it was going then it gets cut off I thought just the chapter was over. Disappointed and annoyed.

Loved this premise of a fifth "horseman," especially since it's a woman. There's a lot of sexual tension between the original four horsemen and their new fifth. It creates lots of fun situations. There is cussing in this book. If you can't tolerate, you probably should read something else.
I loved it, and think if you like magic, fae, demons, romances and the Horsemen...You need to give it a chance.

Intriguing take on the four horsemen. It was a little slow starting. There is a lot o explain at the start of a series, but it felt at first as if feet were dragging. Eventually it sped up and by the end, that climax! I cannot wait to find out where that goes! Good start but a little better proofreading might help the flow, too.

Wow! This book hooked me from the start & would not let go! Well written with 4 sexy horsemen & a kickass heroine, a little action, a lot of lust & emotions this paranormal read is one not to be missed & I can't wait to read more.

This is not the standard 4 horsemen you know. You may want to wait for the next book to be out before you start this one. The reason being it ends on a cliff hanger. Some things explained. While others items are barely revealed leaving you wanting more.

What an unique and unusal read.
Very enjoyable and captivating.
Meet Verity a conspiracy theorist, who ends up meeting and seeing things that just can't be real. Wrong, her life is changed forever when she learns the truth.

Once you get past the editing errors this book reads well, I would recommend this book to others. It has so much potential and I can not wait to see where the author takes it. I gave this book four stars because of the editing errors.

The present tense writing is difficult to get used to, but the story is compelling. I almost felt the rain on me, and felt her fear when her apartment was broken into. Overall, well written and worth a read!

I loved this book! The main character Vee was funny and I think she handled the tough situation she was thrown into really well (better than I probably would). I absolutely loved Heath, Xander, Joss, and Ewan. There is some serious tension now that the 5th horseman has arrived (and that she's a girl) and I can't wait to see what happens next. I would definitely recommend this book.

I enjoyed to book and look forward to reading Book 2. The world is interesting and a fun take on the four horsemen. My only issue with the book is I don't care for 2 of the male characters. The other 2 are great but not sure it will make up for it since this is a reverse harem situation and therefore involves all of them being with the Vee. I'll read the second book in the series and see what I think! It's definitely a good read and I recommend it for sure. :)

Interesting premise for a novel. Biblical themes mixed with fantasy staples such as vampire, fae, and werewolves. A little heavy on the romance/sexual components for me. Also seemed like it was written for young adult reader. Story held my interest all the way through. Would recommend as a quick read.

The story was very good, fast-paced with interesting characters, however, the book needed to be edited. Spelling mistakes, a character whose name changed then changed back, and the annoying use of "passed" instead of "past" (he passed by the store) was prevalent. Despite that, I recommend the book and look forward to the next one in the series.
