The Ultimate Minecraft Comic Book Volume 1 - The Curse of Herobrine

Hi there. Dude89 here. After finishing this series of Minecraft comics, I was amazed. It could have been better by making it longer, but still was amazed.

This series by Herobrine books is about a boy and his pet pig. They have an adventure that lead to destruction by the Wither, but the Ender Dragon comes and suprisingly fought the Wither and won. Normally a Wither would win against an Ender Dragon, but with the help of the Enderman, Steve, his dad and the pig (ha ha).

The spelling was right, the pictures looked like a pros work, but the plot was somewhat amazing and strange. The following comics that I'm reviewing and the other ones from the series don't take that long to read. I'm ok with that as long as the book gives enough detail in the short amount od time, which it did.

Herobrine books is the author of the most popular Minecraft series, "Diary of a Minecraft Zombie". So then I looked for more of his books, and then I found this book, read te series, and was satisfied with it. I hope you make another series as a comic!

Summary:
Steve and his pig rescue his dad and village from Herobrine in about 5 pages.

Why i gave it 2 stars:
1. Waay too short, it's like 7 bucks for a 10 minute book!
2. Too boring, i could make a better story in MY SLEEP
3. Gender Discrimination, YOU ACT LIKE GIRLS ARE PEOPLE WHO JUST COOK AND NAP! (Were not!!!) Please don't only add brave men and cooking women, it's not medival times (or are you stuck in it)
4. Low Res drawings. ned i say more.

Whist the cover is Minecraft-based, the comic itself is not. I enjoy a good, creepy book about Herobrine. A letter to Zack Zombie "Comics":

You made us spend 7 whole bucks for this piece of crap?!?! Wow. I believed in you, Zackery. And now, after we believed, after we believed you could write fantasic books that could actualy change the world, after we believed you could write books every person in the world would want; You give us this?

Oh, dear. Super hit for grandson. Interesting enough to drag him away from his iPad. We're big on books and early reading experiences, so if it takes a comic character to inspire the love of reading - totally fine.

This book is great but it could be improved. First of all the part where Steve defeats herobrine . When Steve pulled out the emerald it just defeated herobrine. Fun but random. Maybe you could more stuff? Spells, incantations, potions, random words, fighting, and transformations. Otherwise its awsome.

The biggest thing was the spelling and punctuation. I mean, if you are going to write a comic, learn to write :P. Also, the cover looks like Minecraft but the actual drawings looks nothing like Minecraft. Terrible book.

The book was okay, but every sentence started with Piggy this and Piggy that. And he says everything out loud, it would be better if the author just showed what was happening instead of having Steve say it.

its so cool when steve killed herobrine and the explosions and when herobrine took the peoples souls and. Steve save them because he killed herobrine even herobrine took steves dads soul and he broke the curse that herobrine put in there island and they live happyly ever after

I consider this rating because of the graphics and the story.

I like this book because I'm a very big fan of minecraft of I really liked the story.

I would consider this book because I REALLY like minecraft and I really like the graphics and I also really like the way the story is told.

My son and his friends love Minecraft. They get all the manuals and talk about the game all the time. It's perfect that now they have a story to read from the Minecraft world. This is a great book. Can't wait for the next one!

As a whole, not an unpleasant read. However, the story is a little trite, and there isn't much impact from the events.
For a quick read, or to support the Minecraft community, this is a passable choice.
