This is a really interesting book, especially in the way it redefines 'book.' If you are looking for a how-to guide on writing a 50,000-100,000 word novel, this is not for you. If you are looking for a window into the relatively new world of independent e-book publishing - both the practice and the business model - then this is a really well done, concise how-to book, as well as a good example of the genre. My only reservation about the work lies in the title. I really think this should have been "Writing an E-Book a Week," because that is what the book is about. I wasn't disappointed, because that was also exactly what I was looking for when I got the book. I found the writing smooth and easy to read, the advice solid, and the business model very interesting. I think it applies better to non-fiction than fiction, but is still very useful.

Not much new here, however, writing a book a week is a very bold goal. I do like the author's emphasis on quality, not just quantity. Also, some of the other books this author has in this series has some good info.

Great information with links. I appreciate how it is updated constantly. I wish there was a little information on brainstorming for book ideas. Although in all there were questions answered that I didn't even know to ask.

I would recommend this book to anyone as a general reminder of what one can accomplish when they set their mind to something and let go of fear of failure. For writers, I think its a great concept and the author, just as he advises, has concisely yet thoroughly put forth everything you need to know to accomplish writing a book in a week.
