Wow crazy dragons, and the only way to bring their mind back is finding a mate.
Sasha does what is necessary to survive. When Tate beats her she knows she gets to eat one more day and goes to her happy place in her head. When her friend falls in love with a dragon and comes to rescue her sister and Sasha she knows the dragon who helps them needs a mate so is not worried when he flies off with Sasha she is ok with it.
But is Sasha ok with it.
I loved this and hated putting it down till I finished it. Once again Ruby does an outstanding job is drawing you into the story.

Loved it ! I am really enjoying this new world of Ruby's. The Ice Planet Barbarians have been awesome but this is a great change of pace and it nice that everyone in not freezing lol. Not that I would give up on Sa-khui. Ruby is just great at whatever world she weaves for her characters. I really like the first book in this series and think this one might be even better. In this post civilized world that has been scorched by crazed dragons where only if they can find a mate can they push the madness away. In this book we find out a little more about the dragons world. And you want the dragons to find peace as well. Sasha and Dakh are perfect for each other. He is patient with her trauma from the past and she needs him as no one else could. Can't wait for the next one to come. Good thing Ruby writes pretty fast . :)

I absolutely love Ruby Dixon! This is book 2, and it is as amazing as the first ---maybe better. Ms. Dixon excels at creating worlds, and in this series it is Earth after the 'rift' when space split and crazed dragons fell through and destroyed our world as we know it. These dragons also shift into a humanoid form, similar but still different. The interaction between the dragon shifters and their human mates is central to the story. And -- oh yes-- what a story! There are the Forts that are run by corrupt people, where the human survivors gathered to try to defend against the dragons, but also are at the mercy of the corrupt leaders; you find out more about who these dragon shifters are, and why they are so crazed and losing their minds; and there is danger and excitement, and of course, the steamy romance.

So very entertaining, the second in this new series I loved Drakh and Sasha grew on me also. Sasha was a better heroine than Claudia so I was very pleased and Drakh was much more developed than Kael whom I adored. This story was filled with love, action, adventure and some serious soul searching. Sasha's issues were understandable and I love how patient Drakh was with her allowing her to understand his love and their bond and his need to please her. Drakh is awesome alpha goodness. I look forward to the next book in the series Emma.

When I started reading this book, it took a minute for me to really get into the story. Sasha had very difficult past and difficult future, she didn't know what way to turn too. Is coming from a abuse of relationship too scary dragon. Dakh is not the most welcoming dragon , but after a while he grows on you. I did enjoy learning about dakh and why they can't really remember. It put it in respective. They didn't choose this and they can't not control the ravens. I am glad that Sasha over comes her out look on men. And truly enjoys herself. I like the Picnic part lol and finally getting to catch up on Claudia and Amy was nice. Then meeting Emma! I can't wait to see what's going to happen with her and the other dragon!!

I love this series!! LOVE IT!! It just gets better and better. This story was fun to read, I'm tall so I know exactly how Sasha (the main female character) felt!! Either the author, Ruby Dixon is tall or she got into the psyche of someone that is tall in order to portray Sasha so well. One of the big reasons I enjoy the stories so much is the personal note Ruby Dixon usually puts at the end. She helps us non-writers understand the thought process and what it takes to put out a great story, but most importantly she talks like a normal person and not a diva star that puts a few words down to appease her readers.

Ruby Dixon is my autobuy author.
Her books deliver every time.
I am getting whiplash from the rapid pace this author is publishing her books.
One amazing story after the other filled with pages of sexy, sexy, sexy alien men, in this case, dragons, that bring a whole new meaning to the words, obsession, territoriality, protectiveness for their human mates.
I won't even get into the details of the story. Just sit back and get taken away on an amazing ride into this author's wicked, and in her own words, "filthy" imagination--lol!!
Love me some Ruby! Great read--no disappointments here!

Was thrilled with the first book, didn't think it could be improved upon. Wrong! Love the storyline and how it wasn't the same story - changed names. Loved the characters. They felt real. Glad to know the next book already seems like it will be quite different, and yet still so familiar. And may I say, it was a pleasure to read something that didn't have horrible grammatical mistakes, missing words or words that shouldn't belong, blatant errors in every paragraph, etc. If you read a lot of paranormal, you know exactly what I mean. This was an absolute joy to read.

I have loved everything Ruby Dixon has written so far. I struggled a little with the first dragon book but still enjoyed it. I am realllly struggling to finish this one. I am halfway through and I don't feel compelled to finish it. Nothing has happened. They've shopped. That's about it. I even skimmed the sex scene. I adore this author's writing, but I guess I just need more excitement and plot. This kind of feels like watching two older people rocking on a porch and falling in love. Sort of interesting, but slow.

If I was disappointed at first book of Dragon romance, I'm now totally crashed by the second. The female lead, I can not call her a heroine like any other romance books, she is more of a wimp, unless of a female. The only thing she had was a little humanity in her, even that sometimes was miss placed.

That been said, I still love Ruby Dixons Ice Planet Barbarians books!

The world and characters are amazing. I just want to know more about the rift the dragons everything but I like the fact that each story tells you just enough to start putting the pieces together. Good writing and smart concept by the author. I like how the male and female leads are different in each book, especially the dragons...I feared the dragons personalities would be basically the same in each book. They are not! Steamy scenes fun story a little mystery likable female leads and hot dragons....winning combos. Can't wait to read book 3!

I’ve always enjoyed Ruby Dixon’s books. They are guilty pleasure reads and always help me get out of a reading slump. I loved the beginning of this new dragon series, however, this one took me a bit to read. Somewhere after the beginning of this book, I was losing interest. Thankfully, after it the 55% mark, it picked back up.

It’s really interesting to see little snippets of the drakoni race, and even more so towards the end. We meet another character, Emma, in Fire in his Kiss, and I’m excited that she will be in the next book. Especially after that ending! No spoilers here!

I loved Dahk. He is a sweetheart and extremely patient. He’d do anything for Sasha, even if it means going out of his comfort zone. Sasha…I didn’t care much for. Not for quite a bit of the book. The whole thing with Tate annoyed me. Again, don’t want to give away spoilers…but…yeah. Then the whole situation with Claudia. I think she overacted.

Despite the things that didn’t quite do it for me, this was overall, a good read. I can’t wait for the next!

The second book in Ruby's Fireblood Dragon series sucked me in just as fast as the first. I have fallen in love with this series already and am so excited that I have this and Ice Planet Barbarians to trade back and forth with. Ruby, your imagination is incredible and I look forward to each book. I can't recommend this author enough. Come get hooked with me in the world of fire breathing, alpha dragons and the brave women they love!

This series is turning into a whole different level of fabulous!! It's wonderful and full of so much mystery with the Drakoni warriors. I was a bit worried there for Sasha and what happened with Tate so I was surprised to her reaction towards Dakh. I'm glad we got to read a bit more about the Drakoni cultures. Loved it and LOVED that Sasha got to see her besties too
Definitely a must read RUBY DIXON series .

Dakh and Sasha are the best. I enjoyed their story even more than Claudia and Kael and I didn't think that was possible. I am an avid romance reader, but was slow to embrace paranormal romance. Ruby Dixon has changed my mind, big time. Whatever you write I will read, Ruby. Can't wait to read the next one!!

I enjoyed this book immensely. Unfortunately, at about half way, I began waiting for the shoe to drop on Sacha's idyllic little world within the Wal-Mart, oops sorry, I mean Savemart. The story began to drag for me a bit. Once it did, the story picked up and I couldn't read fast enough. This world is as engaging as Ruby's IPC world. Definitely worth you time and $$.

Sasha has seen cruelty and her friend attempts to rescue her from the fort, but she ends up in the clutches of a dragon. The fear of abuse and cruelty make trust an issue and she feels trapped with the half crazed animal. Until she's kidnapped and cut off from her protector does she truly get in touch with her feelings.

I discovered this series by accident and fell in love. Reading a lot of Sifi, supernatural, paranormal romances like I do they start to blend together and become predictable but every once in a while you find a gem that hooks you from the first page to the last and leaves you chomping at the bit for the next book to be released. Make sure you have some time to spare.....once you start this one you won't want to put it down!

Great idea for scifi/romance novels. Novel and engaging view of a post-catastrophic world in which humans are prey. The women's reaction is a bit more realistic than in her previous novels. I like the longer length, allows for more character and plot development. Looking forward to more books in this series.

Dakh and Sasha was a great story. Ruby does like her oral sex. Wish she cut back a little. I do like the struggle that the dragons face and it's only with their mate they can stay sane. Glad to learn more about them, but surprise to learn they they were enslaved. Can't wait to read Emma's story next.

An excellent second book in this series! Loved Sasha and Dahk so much. Absolutely love meeting Emma and am already dying for her story. You learn much more about the dragons home. This world the author is creating is believable and fascinating. She keeps you guessing and I'm obsessed. Highly recommend this book but you should read therm in order!

It started out good The middle was very boring and drawn out so much that I skipped pages. Then BAM!! Action finally at the end with a lil interesting peek into what’s to come. I guess I HAVE to keep reading to figure out this thing

I'm absolutely and thoroughly impressed with the latest novel in this series. Definitely a more fleshed out story and she's taken time to flesh out the back stories of the dragon here so that there's an even bigger interest (for me at least) to continue reading the next book. Can't wait for book 3!!

Wonderful continuation of the Post-Apocalyptical Dragon series with Dakh and Sasha's story.
If you enjoy shifter romances, post apocalyptical settings and/or a fan of Ruby Dixon, then this series is for you.
Their story expands on the whole "After" setting and sets up for the next book in the series. I can't wait for the next one!

I am really loving on this Dragon series. Unlike any other, I cannot wait for them to reveal more and more of how they came to be, where they come from and who will bring all the Dragons back from insanity. Great series, I highly recommend this different take on Dragons.

I was really worried about reading the second book because I didn't know how she could possibly make it different enough from the first to still be interesting. But she did and I really liked it. I'm looking forward, now to the third.

Sasha is dropped while trying to escape from the fort . A dragon catches her and she wakes up to the dragon watching her. Dakh has been going crazy since the dragons went through the rift into this new world until he meets his mate. He'll never let her go now.

This is not your normal “shifter” story. It is a good book overall. I found the heroine to have a little too much “woe is me” attitude, but she got better towards the end. Also this book was much darker than the first.

I love anything Ruby Dixon. This story explains more of the Dragon world. These dragons love fiercely. Can't wait for the next one. I love the innocence in the way the dragons think. They think like the ice planet hunks. Thanks for the good read.
