A SciFi Alien Romance (Corsairs Book 3) - Enticed By The Corsair

This is an author I Follow constantly! I love every book she puts out! This v was another great story! I've never read a book on bab blind person befor. And I liked it! I felt it. Keep writing Ruby!!!!

I love this series, and am pleased that damaged, fighting man Alyvos gets his girl. Iris has had a really bad time of it and is in need of a hero. Nice pairing. I recommend this book and can't wait for more.

One of her best character pairings yet. If you haven't read her previous books I highly suggest it. I've devoured every one of her stories and the plots never become repeptitive like some mass production authors. Every new charcter is fresh. Honestly her talent to create different personalities is astounding.

Your books just keep getting better and better. I am a big fan of all your blue barbarians and gold dragons. I also love how you recommend on FB other authors for your fans to read in between your books.

Great story! Iris is an abused slave with no hope. Alyvos is a gruff tough fighting machine who uses his fists instead of talking but things begin to change when he reaches Iris. He wants Iris to be his mate. He finds he had the patience to help her. This is a very enjoyable book with a good plot and a very steamy sex scene. Probably the best book so far in this series!

As always i love reading from this Author she can always write a damn good book Enticed By The Corsair will leave you waiting too see what happends next it starts off with Cat pretending to be a slave with Kivian as her owner and selling her too those orange pebbled alien's it works. Then the team track Cat too her back but things go differently what they find isnt pretty ? Alyvos beats the crap out of the orange pebbled duchbags then they find cages unpon cages and eveyone that used too be in there ant leaving Tarekh takes Cat back to there ship Alyvos heres someone say "hello" he thinks its in his head while talking too Kivian then they both hear it again and they find her Iris and shes in horrible shape they save her but shes broken because what the bad guys did too her for there Lord Unto. And reading the part that they took her sight made my sromach heave but kepted reading because she had too havd a happy ending and Iris does shes scared when Alyvos takes her in board the Fool Cat and Fran see's what happend to her Tarekh heals her Alyvos becomes protective and the crew see's it they become friends they sleep together to make Iris feel safe she works with Sentorr who is always quite cant wait to read his book. Irsh and Alyvos is such a great couple glade he found love with Iris and everyone on the Fool is getting bigger! Glade they got a happy ending cant wait for more...

I read something today that spoke to me. In Enticed by the Corsair by Ruby Dixon. It's the third book in a series and the most gritty so far. She wrote a character, Alyvos, who was just trampled by life, but seemed to have his shit together. He was angry and solitary, but still functioning. He rescues a woman who had been completely broken and abused, half starved to death and the only living thing left oh the ship, as they, the bad aliens, had tortured and killed all of the other slaves on board.. He saw her as a survivor and tries to help her recuperate, helping her to find a sense of normal, She had been tortured by aliens who took her for the slave trade, cut off fingers and toes and gauged out her eyes and cauterized the holes, because she was feisty and fought her abductors. At one point, she said she wanted to heal like he had from his trauma, and he said, "Oh, I'm not fixed. I'm as broken as ever. But you get better at hiding it. And you get better at being broken."...."I am an angry broken thing inside." ....... and then I thought.....this author sees my soul and is in my head....and so I had to stop reading it for a while to let that sink in. I'll had to wait a day to get back to finish it. But, wow. Such a perfectly written story that pulls out all the emotional heartstrings....Iris is my new hero.

This book was a little deeper than I was expecting. First, I loved the dynamic between these two. Human in need of rescuing, bad boy alien realizing there's more than just knocking heads together. A lot of emotional pain in this book. Threw me for a loop there for a bit. Only thing I didn't like was the ending. Needed a bit more closure with revenge plot in her ex-captor. I'm sure it will come in the next book, but my heart hurts a little knowing there are other humans out there still.

How can a tale about aliens point to the qualities that make us human? I loved how Iris accepted her new reality while she struggled to remain placid and calm. I adored the level of devotion that Alyvos showered her with. An amazing love story and a tribute to becoming the best person you can be with the hand you've been dealt.

Wow I thought her last book was terrible with what the main female went through, but poor Iris has physical scars and emotional ones to deal with. Her big blue alien helps her through it all and along the way she helps him.

Love this series and how the author also depicts characters that are from different backgrounds and have different difficulties to over come. I enjoyed reading about how these two fell in love and helped each other along the way.
