A Sci-Fi Alien Romance Novella - The Alien's Mail-Order Bride

A sweet, short emotional story between two people that realize they need each other more than they realize. The length of the story is perfect and the pacing fits the characters. I️ felt fulfilled emotionally and mentally. The perfect read for a quick pick-me-up.

I love Ms. Dixon's tall, blue, horned heroes, even when they aren't on the ice planet. I also love that this is a one shot because it's a good taste of whether or not you will like her body of work in this universe.

Literally fights the pairing to the very end. Then the love scene and over. Not my cup tea. Too much pushing away for such short book. Well written for short book but too much frustration at how much pushing away was in the book. Safe read.

I Loved Nicola. She was so sweet, kind & loving. Emron was taking too long to keep Nicola. So once he claims her the stories over. I thought maybe he does have to protect her against male neighbors. Plus no epilogue.

Hot little novella from another world! Welcome to the world of aliens where humans are the odd balls!! But these aliens have a little something extra! Just wish I could have seen more of what he could do with it!! Wink! Wink!

I absolutely ADORED these two and wanted so much more! In such a short story, Ruby painted an entire world and had two well-developed leads that fit perfectly together. I seriously wanted so much more at the end.

I really enjoyed the story, I wish it were longer and told how they ended up. A follow-up novel about the couple would be awesome Ruby! I know you're super busy, but I'm just saying lol. Love all of Ruby's work!

A short sweet novella. The writing was good and the character development is well written. They same group of blue aliens from her Ice Planet. I can't wait to read more of these mail order bride from Ruby Dixon

Another fantastic ruby Dixon book. Nicole & emvor are perfection. I definitely loved seeing emvor realize he needs his wife. It was great seeing more aliens from this world. Looking forward to more.

I've read all the Ruby Dixon available on kindle. This short story seemed to be written in a voice unlike any other, as if it was fan fic based on her IPB world. The story itself is so simple and predictable that I can't say I enjoyed it. It was okay. I would give it two stars, but I like the author, so I'll add a star in the hope that her next story is better.

Emvor has ordered a mail-order bride. He doesn't care what she looks like, he wants someone who can help with the farm work. He's on his way to town to get his new bride.
Nicola is not what Emvor is expecting but so long as she can help work the farm it does't matter. What he doesn't expect is a small human.
This is a story I wouldn't normally read. I like paranormal stories but have mostly stayed among the were-shifters and vampire, story line. But I am surprisingly enticed into liking this story, in a very good way of wanting more to read and knowing that this author writes other planet/alien stories I'm sure that I'll be reading more.

First time reading this and loved it Emvor is looking for a wife and he finds one but when he gets her home he starts to notice something. Different about her he takes her to his room so she can be comfortable and unpack then she takes the layers off she was wearing and Emvor notices that his Mesakkah wife is human named Nicola Emvor feels lied and tricked that his new wife is human. His neighbor Sanjurel is a little nosie lol Emvor wants to give her too someone else but finds out hes getting attached to Nicola and starts to fall for her. This was a great read glade they finally found happiness with each other!

I love how this author writes. It's really refreshing to read books where the hero isn't a man whore. This blue guy is gruff and bears scars from his time in the military but he is also protective and sweet and all man. Heroine has had to adjust to her changing circumstances but isn't whiny about it. I loved this stand alone story.

Emvor and Nicola are just wonderful together! Emvor doesn't know what to do when he finds out about his mail-ordered bride. Slowly but surely they both find out that they have a lot in common. Their journey to love ? is sweet and a joy to behold. The characters are well developed and well written. This novella is a joy to read!

Cute, short little novella. No action or adventure involved in this story, only friendship and possibly love.
Emvor is a mesakkah. He lives on a small farming planet. He wants a female mesakkah to help him on the farm and to be a companion. He needs some one strong so that if he gets hurt she can work the farm for him.
Nicola was stolen from earth when she was twelve and has been a "pet" In a menagerie. When her owner died she had to find somewhere safe to go because owning humans is illegal. So she set up a scheme to pretend to be a mesakkah who was looking to get married so she wouldn't have to work in a brothel.
When Emvor finds out she is human there is a lot of upheaval and decision making going on. We do get a HEA.

Ruby Dixon writes the best alien stories. The Alien's Mail Order Bride is funny & Sweet. Emvor is patient and kind to the alien girl Nicola. Nicola finds him interesting and agrees to bear his children. Looks like happy times for them.
I chose this new series written by different Authors because it is a treat to read each one's take on the alien series.

This was a fast read. Emvor needs a partner to help him out of his farm. So he gets a mail-order wife. One that will help him with the chores. But when Shiarii shows up she is NOT what he expected. This book made you feel how thier love grew. How he started to feel like she was the right choice for him...

She did it again. Loved this short little novella. These two together were so desperate for love, escape, and acceptance. They took a little while, but found it in each other. Such a cute read. Perfect little companion to the IPB world the author to has created
