Asher was a hard business man. Emily was an artist who wanted to open a art museum which would include paintings by her mother who was blind. I enjoyed reading about the changes Asher's character made in the relationship between Emily and him. This is well worth reading and I look forward to more of Ruth Cardello's books.

Well written story. I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it to anyone who likes a good love story. There is drama throughout the book but it only keeps you interested and wanting to keep reading.

No question, this is yet another amazing series from Ruth Cardello. I highly recommend the Barrington Billionaire series to fellow readers. Book one, Always Mine is full of page turning desires, heartbreak, life, relationships and an attraction that fuels a fire that can keep nearly anyone warm on a cold winter's night. Always Mine is the story of Emily and Asher. Asher is a wealthy business man that is known to be a hammer that allows nothing or no one to get in his way. Emily is a woman who wears her heart on her sleeve and is full of passion for what she loves. I love that the author brought another depth to Emily's character - fire. She is able to match the fire in Asher and even surpass him at times.
I look forward to continuing this series and posting a complete review as I read each story. If you haven't read any romances by this author - I would be willing to bet that you are missing out. She is increasingly becoming a new found favorite of mine.

Always Mine is the first book in The Barrington Billionaires series written by author Ruth Cardello. Love the story and the characters. Also some brief appearances from the Legacy and Andrades series characters. Also thanks to the author for the complimentary audible gift. Robin Rowan does an excellent job.

Great characters, great love story, great writing, sexy and I would definitely read this book again. He wasn't an over-the-top alpha male and more believable than most male characters in other books. And she was a strong female character. I loved it! Highly recommended!!!

A strong romance filled with grit and determination. Character strength developed with a story line that tugs, pushes and sometimes drags the reader to new insights and unexpected places. Prayers of the world would be answered if this could be the always sought after reality and truth.

I loved this story of Asher and Emily. The heroine was tough, and new her own mind. Asher was cocky, and alpha male all the way. It took Emily to tame him and show him another side of life. What a great start to the Barrington Billionaires series.

Loved Emily. Strong-willed, independent, determined to make her and her mother's dream come true. Then comes Asher, throwing a wrench/hammer in the mix. Great storyline.
A shame book 2 is not free on kindle like book 1.

This fairly well written book, though improbable in real life, takes the reader to that place where love and happy endings are a sure thing. I have not gotten tired of this genre yet. Ms. Cardello makes it easier by not being grammatically sloppy. I can read her books and pleasantly escape for a time.

I really enjoyed this book but it misses the mark without an epilogue to give a little better ending. I loved the characters and their families. Wonderful concept and well written. Can't wait to read about the other family members story.

Thank you for this wonderful book. Not only did it have great chemistry between the characters but I love the way she gave me access to seeing art thru a blind painter. To open my eyes to a different art form.

I love Ruth Cardello books. They are well written, entertaining, and just the right eroticism. Once again she did not disappoint. This book was great. I loved how she kept the characters from previous books in this book as well. Excellent read. I would definitely recommend reading this book. Can't wait for the next book.

Yay that the book was amazing. Ruth captured the same flow as with her other billionaire series. Boo because the book has been read and the next one comes out in late February. Definitely recommend this one.....though I would read all of the Billionaire series.

This was good story. All the books from Ruth that start with Dominic to this all have fami'll y issues that works out great in the end. I like that the families are related somehow. Looking forward for book two.

Sometimes not getting your way is the best thing to ever happen to someone. Asher was so used to getting his way that when a fierce woman stands up to him it tilts his world. Emily has lost so much and Asher and his family give her what she needs.

Another enjoyable read. I usually get books from the library but I didn't have anything on hand and just picked this one based on prior reviews. I'm glad I did and I'll definitely read more of the authors works.

I liked the characters, but the outcome and plot got so predictable so early that there simply was no tension to make the reader want to pay attention. I skimmed much of the the last half or more . Just ok. J.

The cover, is ok, nothing extraordinary.
The story, I got this book as a freebie. I thought I was not going to enjoy this or that I was going to roll my eyes so often I was going to lose them inside my skull. Emily is an artist and is trying to open a museum in honor of her mom, there is one problem, a developer, aka Asher, is buying out all the properties surrounding her museum and now it looks like a ghost town. Asher is also trying to get her to sell. Angry at this she goes to tell Asher to butt out and she does and sparks explode. Is a struggle between what she should do and what she wants to do and Asher just keeps pushing and pushing. There were sometimes where I was rolling my eyes from the sweetness, but that is just my jaded self, anything sweet about a couple I tend to disbelieve it. No cliffhanger, thankfully.
The romance, it was very hot! You could see why they couldn’t keep their hands away from each other.
Emily, lost, strong, artist, protective. After losing her family she lost what she wanted out of life, she does what her mom would have love and is trying very hard but at the same time she is not living. Her best friend, I liked her very much, she said everything with blunt honesty and it helped Emily realize that life was more than what she was having.
Asher, ruthless, possessive, closed up, uncaring (or he thought he was), protective. He made me mad sometimes with his, “I get what I want no matter the obstacles”. He was like a wrecking ball and he needed a life lesson, Emily was able to give him that and afterwards I liked him more, though he didn’t have a romantic bone in his body. Didn’t know how to express himself.
Overall, did I like the book? Yes, I did, despite the sweetness. Would I recommend the book? You should try it.

Beast is suitably wrong (too capitalistic, too much into other women, too hurt by previous events) to be anything but a pain in the neck, but Beauty will change him with something (love, sex, the help of his family, the help of his friends, whatever), and Beast will transform into such a Prince that Beauty won't mind living off his considerable billions in future. It is a tale as old as time, and one, that in my view is very unrealistic in terms of real life. I love romantic fantasy as much as the next woman, but could we choose a different fairy tale next time? Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, or better yet, one that isn't as well known like King Thrushbeard? Let's let Beauty and the Beast retire to the castle for a time.
