First off. Welcome back Sosie Frost. And back with a bang, you are!!
I loved this book. Oh my, was it funny. Poor Remington! He didn't have a clue about babies and toddlers. And watching him through it all was hilarious. He's the epitome of bad boy and all the town hates him and his family, especially for what he did 5 years ago but what people know, is only half the story.
Cassi has loved Rem since she was a teenager. But she also have 5 older brothers who think it's their duty to protect her but they're overbearing. They all fight and hate each other but it's Cassi that has the biggest load on her shoulders. She says she leaving for Ironfield but something always seem to stop her. She just to generous to for her own good. So she hears Rem is back in town and goes to drop some stuff off for his nieces but chaos has resigned and she stays to help.
Her and Rem flirt back and forth but Cassi is determined not to give in to him but Rem is smooth and he and Cassi know that they still have feelings for each other. Cassi is the only one who believes that Rem has a heart of gold and she knows he's hiding a few secrets.
Rem is a changed man. He falls in love with his nieces and he never stopped loving Cassi. He doesn't want to get too close because I think he cant handle the pain of lossing them. But he's the one who's put himself in isolation. Cassi is the good girl and everyone warns her to stay away from Rem but she loves him too.
I really enjoyed this book. It was funny from the start. I loved the chemistry between the main characters. The little babies were just adorable. I couldn't put it down either. I needed to see what secrets Rem was hiding and to be honest they weren't as bad as he thought.

This adorable story about a guy with a troubled past stepping in to take care of his nieces while still being in love with the girl who's heart he broke 5 years ago, my little fangirl heart couldn't take it. They flirted like pros and it was so cute, the nieces were absolutely adorable, and Cassi's brothers were a bit of a hoot when they weren't trying to kill each other. The 'plot twist' at the end about the barn didn't surprise me in the least, which I suppose is a good thing, but I wanted to be surprised. The romantically steamy scenes were full of inner monologue, which got a bit annoying, but they were still appropriately steamy. I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book

This is the story of Cassie and Remington "Rem". It is a drama laced rom-com with lots of flirting, past demons to be dealt with, second Chance romance and sizzling chemistry. It is told in a dual POV, which I absolutely love in a book. This book evoked many emotions throughout reading it, from tears to laughter. The character development on Cassie was short sided but well done on R.E.M. Overall a great book that had a captivating storyline along with some steamy science that didn't over power the book. It was a definite page turner and charismatic read. Susie Frost is a new Author to me but I'll tell you this, this won't be the last book of hers I read.

What an entertaining and humorous story this is! Remington is back in town 5 years after he left, and is now looking after his two little nieces, who are a real handful. Cassi has always loved Rem, but with 5 overprotective brothers’ she is ready for a change. When she is coerced to being the nanny for the 2 little girls, she finds that her feelings are just as intense now as they always were. This is a well written story, which flows seamlessly, and has a lot of laugh out loud moments, even when finished reading. This talented author has me hooked and captivated form the very beginning, and I highly recommend her work for all readers!

I enjoyed reading this romance and beginning book in the series. I loved how this book not only had a good story line for the main characters of Cassi and Remember but it set up book 2 as well. I feel like this is not just a romance but a forbidden love and second chance story as well. The relationship between Remember and Cassi is at time funny and other really pull at your heart. Rem is the town's bad boy and proved it the barn burned down at Cassi family farm. Rem leaves not just Cassi but town after that and doesn't return till 5 years later. A lot happens in 5 years. Loved this book and can't wait to read more in this series!!!

** spoiler alert ** 5 years ago, Remington ran away from his hometown and the girl who held his heart. Cassi is the only girl in 6 siblings and has struggled to hold the together ever since her parents passed. Two little girls bring them back together. Will Remington be ready to stop running? Will Cassi finally get the love she has always dreamed of?

Have to say I felt bad for Remington because it seemed no matter what he was trying to do, others wanted to continue to bring him down and compare him to the past. Loved Cassi's dedication to keep everyone together and didn't blame her for wishing she could leave! Great read!

Likeable characters that are well described. I like it is written in dual POV, which gives the reader both the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. That makes the story even more emotional and captivating. The twists and turns are unexpected.

Characters are well described and they develop nicely through the story. They are likeable. Great chemistry and passion. A lot of lies, secrets, no communication and behavior did not amuse me. A story of nice length but is was hard to read with all that mixed in the story. Apart from that an enjoyable read.

Baby Jacked by Sosie Frost storyline is an emotional family drama. Remington Marshall (Rem) returns to his hometown after 5 years of self imposed exile for burning down the Payne barn. Rem needs to take custody of his two nieces for his sister who is ill. Cassi Payne the adopted sister of 5 brothers was heartbroken when Rem left town and is talked into being the nanny. Baby Jacked is a heartwarming second chance at love and a redemption story. It is well worth your time to read and you will enjoy reading it. I received a free copy of this book and have voluntarily choose to review it.

I am voluntarily leaving a review having received an ARC for this book. This is a first time read for this author. I have to say it took a bit to get going for me with the book but it developed into a great second chance story between Rem & Cassi. Rem being the bad boy who broke Cassie’s heart & burnt her family’s barn down before he took off to the Canadian wilderness. Now he’s back & no matter how many times Cassie says she’s leaving she keeps being sucked back in, this time helping Rem look after his nieces. Will they get a second chance? You will need to one click to find out.

I liked Baby Jacked. There was something different about the writing or maybe it’s the way the characters interacted from what I’m used to. I didn’t mind that actually. I actually enjoyed the jokes and the way the characters interacted. It was comical and relatable. I do feel as if the story started to drag a little bit though. I felt like it just kept hitting the same issue and nothing was going anywhere with it. I would like to read more stories with this family to see how they continue to develop and grow.

Rem,
Straighten up and fly right!
A little truth is in order here!
Aaand, Cassi...
I don't really think you're a doormat...
There's too much snark going on in your mind and heart...
Occasionally it comes out. Cultivate that.
Live it out loud.
You and Rem together are unbeatable...

One thing I loved about this story from the beginning was that the narrative is laced with humor.
There are sparks of that humor both in the storytelling, and in the voices of both Rem and Cassi.
Bottom line: I really like this. 4 stars.

The last time Cassie saw Remington he was heading out of town after the family barn caught fire. What Cassie didn't know was that Remington was trying to protect a secret of his surrogate family. Now Remington is back in town to look after his sister's kids during her illness. This is all well and good but Cassis's five brothers want him away from her and out of town. It's going to take a miracle for Remington and Cassie to get their relationship on track that is if the town and her brothers leave them at it. I voluntarily agreed to an ARC of this book for an honest review.

So, this was a pretty good story. I like both the main characters and the dialogue between them. It seemed realistic and not over the top cheesy. And those little girls in the story seemed like just the sweetest things ever. I didn’t think there was actually that much romance between the Remington and Cassi. I get that they had a history, but I was still hoping for a little more passion and chemistry between the two of them. Cassi’s brothers were really annoying. Overall, it was a pretty decent story.

Five years is a long time for love and heartbreak to "burn". Five years is how long it has been since Cassi saw Remington. When Remington returns to Butterpond to care for his nieces, meddling brothers and adorable little girls keep throwing Cassi and Rem together. Can Cassi forgive Rem and give him a chance or will a burnt barn always come between them? I loved Remington and Cassi. Mellie and Tabby were so adorable you couldn't help but love them.

Remington (Rem) is back in town after five years for one reason only, to take care of his sister’s kids while she’s in rehab, but he has no clue what he’s doing. Who leaves a sharpened axe around a one and three year old?

Cassi only stopped by to drop off a few things for the kids. When she sees how unprepared Rem is to handle them she stays to help. No, jerky and whiskey are NOT dinner for kids! But Rem has plans, plans to get Cassie back even though he’s still not telling her everything. Can they get past his lies and omissions for another chance?

This is a wonderful well-written story, Remington has returned home after exciling himself away in the Canadian nothingness, to look after his two nieces while his sister is away getting treatment for drugs. Uncle Rem is having a hard time with the precocious duo he has on his hands, but when the love of his life comes back into his life he must fight for her and for their future.

Wonderful storyline, flowed smoothly. Great characters. Can't wait to read more from this author.

I stumbled upon this author when I read the description for this book. If I read the description and I like it I tend to read it. This book had me hooked from the begging and it made me wonder why I haven’t heard of her before. The book was incredible and I loved the story. I loved that it had humor in the story as well as some seriousness to it. The little girls were adorable and main characters had me cracking up. The additional characters made the story more interesting specially the h’s brothers. Those guys were just crazy but hilarious.

Cassi and Remington are reunited when he returns home to care for his sick sister's two toddlers. It didn't take long for him to realize that he needed help, so he convinced his old flame, Cassie to be their nanny. They hadn't seen each other for five years when he broke her heart and left town. Their banter back and forth was humorous and it was sweet watching the spark appear. Told in dual POV's made it easier to know what each was thinking. A good read. I read an advance copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.

Two little girls bring the hardened bad boy to his knees, as does the love he left behind. Rem and Cassi battle with each other, secrets getting in the way of happiness. This story is filled with unspoken love, feelings lurking just under the surface, stubbornness times ten, family feuding, steamy sex and the cutest little princesses. I loved this book from the very first word right to the end.

This is my first review for an excellent steamy romance by an excellent romance author! Cassi keeps the Payne family together the best she can and will never forget the man who took her heart when he left five years ago. Rem took off after his bad influence impacted the Payne family in a horrendous way. Now he is back to take care of his two nieces. Can they repair five years of separation and bad feelings? Cassie hasn’t forgiven him for leaving town and not trying to contact her. What a great story of love, redemption, sacrifice and family. There are many laughs and just as many tears reading this book. This book shows the lengths Rem is willing to go to to save his surrogate family at great cost to himself. It shows how small towns never forgive and the prejudice they hold onto even when people change...how people are judged and ostracized because of their family. I really enjoyed reading this. I received this as an ARC and this is my honest, voluntary review.

I thought this book was great! Cassi hadn’t seen Remi in five years when he left and broke her heart. Now he is back to help his family. Their story was sweet and romantic and I really enjoyed reading as their feelings for each other developed over time. Remi left five years ago because he did not deserve her. Had things changed his mind or has too much time past? I really enjoyed finding out. I hope there are more stories involving the siblings in this book!

Rem and Cass:

I thought this was a cute story. Rem ran from Cass 5 years ago to cover up some secrets, making him the town black sheep. Cass's heart was broken to the only man she ever loved. 5 years later Rem is back with 2 little girls in tow. Can Rem win Cass's heart back?

I like it. Wish there was a little more to the story though. But an enjoyable read.

Part romantic comedy, part some deep stuff dealing with drug addiction and recovery. Rem & Sassy are good together. I liked how Sassy never gave up on Rem and never let other peoples opinions of him change her love for him. It was sad how Rem took the heat and sacrificed so much for Sassy's brother because he didn't want to ruin a family with the truth. Rem was a good man who suffered from a lack of self worth from a dysfunctional family.

Babyjacked is a second-chance romance that is for those that love the chance to overcome past mistakes. it isn't a book for just anyone though because that past that Remington has to overcome is hard. With it being a small town, everyone knows everything. That means that Remington has to overcome not just his mistakes but what the community blames him for.

Expect lies, deceit, anger, heartbreak but also family, friendship and love.

This story had lots of funny parts, lots of serious and lots of hot factor. I felt Rem was a little back and forth at times but who doesn’t love a man who takes on his 2 nieces without a second thought. Thankfully Cassi was worried about their welfare and pitched in and together they struggled with putting their past behind them and the journey led them back to each other.

This is more than a second chance romance. There’s another story about a family trying to come together and heal. There’s several aspects to this book second chance romance, forgiveness, drugs, drug rehabilitation and old friends coming together to help one another. Skillfully written with complex yet down to earth characters. Be prepared to read this book in one seating because once you start, you just can’t stop until the end.

The first thing that comes to mind regarding this book is how funny it is. I think that’s it’s biggest selling point. The big secret wasn’t very hard to guess and for me it didn’t seem to earth shattering but the funny, witty banter and the author’s awesome writing style more than made up for it. Looking forward to the next instalment. Definitely one click worthy.

THis was a cute story. THE characters are all going through a really rough time, but there’s a lot of hidden agendas and lies that were told to try and save a family, but brought even more heartache instead. The shenanigans that these two little angels get into are absolutely horrid, but hilarious as the same time. Tabby is a baby that’s adorable, but Mellie is all sass and vinegar wrapped up in an overly excitable package.
