Mr. Flanagan is a master of character development. You really feel like you have a personal relationship with his characters. Yet another great book from this author. I would like to see more from these "early years" of Halt.

I absolutely love this book. As usual the author makes the reader feel like he is part of the story and not just a bystander. He uses just enough humor to make the characters seem more humor. This book is another winner and l highly recommend it.

Flanagan's writing is always enjoyable. The characters and their relationships are realistic. He gives the reader the feeling of being present in the adventure., laughing, crying fighting and cheering right alongside the Ranger crew.
