As other reviews indicated, there is not much story here, but toddlers seem to like it. The main character just tells us that he used go in diapers, but now he uses the potty, and his mom threw him a big party for it. The problem with this book is that it does not go into any detail about using the potty. It does, however, show the kid getting a crown, a cape and a party, including a cake. So be forewarned, parents, your toddler may have some big expectations after reading this. I too got this book along with Bloop Bloop Goes the Poop (which is superior). My son does like to read it because he thinks its funny when it shows a baby wearing a stinky diaper. He is also quick to point out the cake, and then ask me for cake. It doesn't seem to have had much effect on his potty training.

It's a miracle. Or a coincidence. Believe what you will, but about 3 days after reading this book my son declared he was done with diapers and was going to use the potty. And we didn't look back. Within a week he was accident free and wearing diapers only at night. HIGHLY recommend this book for stubborn little ones. It's a quick, fun read that seems to do the trick.

So cute and the bright colors really grab my daughter's attention. We are going through potty training and she constantly requests this book. I bought this book on a whim and have been pleasantly surprised at how much my little girl loves it!

This book was a huge disappointment. It didn't really offer much encouragement for little boys to learn how to poop. It was superficial. Plus what was with all the ridiculous 14 pages of Harry Potter nonsense at the beginning of the book? It was totally unrelated.Examples below.

This story is simple and illustrative of the potty-training process. My toddler loves superheroes so this works for us. However, our book came bound from back to front. The first page was the end of the story. I cannot return this item as I live overseas, however, this is something I have never encountered before from a bookseller. I hope it was just a one-time error, rather than a major publishing issue.

This is a cute and fun book with adorable illustrations. My kids both loved it, especially the silly animals. It is bright, relatable and brings fun into a sometimes frustrating topic. The book is engaging, yet has a simplicity that allows ease of conversation and awareness at a young age. It also brings in an effective reward idea, and confidence builder with the superhero theme. I highly recommend it!
