Got this to introduce potty training to my daughter. She loves it. She had an accident one day and I said "oh, you peed in your pants." And she replied "but mom says "that's ok!"" (Which is a line from the book).

This books has beautiful illustrations and is well written. The double pages make it a bit harder for the children to look at on their own, but they enjoy listening to book during story times and during one-on-one reading with adults.

We love this book for our son. He enjoys sitting on the potty and lifting the flaps to see what's underneath. Has a great message and really encourages children to try and keep it up until the time is right for the individual.
A cute story on how to bring fun and laughter to potty training. :: 126 Boy Potty Training Stickers and Chart to Motivate Toilet Training :: Everyone Poops :: The Step-by-Step Plan for a Clean Break from Dirty Diapers :: Daniel Goes to the Potty (Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood)

I bought this potty book specifically because my daughter LOVES Karen Katz's lift-the-flap books - she has about 6 of them and they are all tattered from so much use. This is a great first potty book for little ones!

I love the illustrations, but I hardly ever read it to my daughter. I found that it spent too much of the book conveying a message that it is okay to have accidents. I didn't want to confuse my child by telling her that when I wanted her to do her best not to have any. This was not my favorite Katz book.

My daughter loves Karen Katz, but after 3 pages she handed me the book and pointed to another. I don't like the lift the flap format, makes the book bulky and cumbersome. The content was ok. Will probably go with another book on training.

We really like this book. My daughter loves it and asks for it to be read over and over. The first time we read it to her, she ran to her potty and showed us how she had one too. Now, if we can only get her to start using it again. :-)

Our daughter loves the Karen Katz books (Counting Kisses, Where's Baby's Bellybutton?, etc) and we're still working on potty training so this book's publication was perfectly timed. Great illustrations to the usual plot line of potty training.

Great book for toddlers learning how to use the potty. My son enjoys reading this book as he can relate to the story. He likes the pictures and the words used. A good one to add to your child's reading library.

I purchased this book for my Grandaughter, who is not the least bit interested in going potty. I am hoping seeing the child in the book will encourage her.
She likes to look at the pictures and talk about what is happening on each page. The graphics are good and the colors are bright. The language is simple and the rhyme cute for a two year to understand.

Bought this book because I like Karen Katz's illustrations (as does my 2 year old). The book is cute and she likes to read it either with or without me. It's a well structured introduction to the potty concept.
