Fundamental Accounting Principles -Hardcover

Very pleased with the way this order turned out. They said it was used but still good looking and it really was. there was just a little use on the cover but the book was completely fine. Extremely satisfied that I only paid a few bucks for this and it was exactly as they said it would be. I would use this seller again.

Absolute bull****. Said it came with the Connect+ access code and I had to buy in a rush. Lo and behold NO access code and now I'm forced to buy it, would've been better buying it from my book stored. Absolutely livid, and learned to always check reviews.

I ordered this book Friday for a class that started Monday. I had signed up last minute for the class and was worried it wouldn't arrive in time but it got there in time! The book is actually in a lot better condition than I expected. The corners are a little worn and it probably wouldn't be considered good enough to take in as a resell at a college bookstore but it definitely gets the job done and all of the material is there. It was such a great price I really don't mind just keeping it for my own personal collection so I can look back on the material if I ever need to. I would definitely make a purchase like this again.

If you need to use Connect, the online component of this textbook for your college course, then keep in mind that the Kindle edition does NOT come with a Connect code. I felt rather misled, because it isn't clear in the product description that online access isn't included. If you buy the Kindle edition, you will need to spend an additional fifty dollars to purchase Connect access from McGraw Hill, which negates most of the savings you get from buying an eBook. The Kindle edition is easy to read and navigate, and convenient to carry around, I would have preferred to purchase the loose-leaf edition which is nearly the same price and comes with a Connect code.

My college bookstore sells this book with Connect access under the same ISBN, but I thought I would save a few dollars and buy it from the store instead. The the store description led me to believe that a Connect code would also be included with this book. I did see the other reviews stating otherwise, but figured they ordered it used or from a 3rd party and that is why the code wasn't included. I made sure to purchase a "new" book "shipped and sold" by the store, but still no Connect code. I now have to pay an additional fee for Connect. It would have been cheaper for me to purchase a new copy with Connect from the college bookstore or maybe I would have purchased a used copy of the book on the store if I'd have known Connect was not included. The the store book description could be worded a little better. Rating three stars as I do not yet have an opinion of the book itself. I may change the rating as I work my way through the book.

Note: The book does mention a 3-week free trial of Connect for those who want to try it before spending more money. However, Connect access is a requirement in my class.

Update: Looks like the product description has since changed and there is even a note saying that it is a standalone book. I'm glad the description has been updated.

This textbook is well written. The authors did a great job of providing examples help the student learn, structuring the book in an easy way to locate important information, and remind students of particular information in order to enfore learning. I would recommend this textbook

No connect code. Not worth the paper it's printed on. They say their new books, but these are lies if they were new they would come with the code and in better condition. Don't waste your time if you need the code.

was disappointed because book was damaged and I did not receive a connect code as advertised. I will not buy any text books from this side anymore since I can have it for the same price and quicker from my college bookstore.

Book is relevant to course work, and performed its purpose.

The requirement for "10 words or more" is more contrived than necessary.

Textbook was advertised as brand new - unwrapped but never used as I dropped the class in the 2 days

When I received the book I found this NOT to be true there was a crease mark on the front cover, I have
found food crumbs on various pages as I progress using the book as well as a stains on pages. So
by appearances the book was definitely USED. I feel the book was misrepresented and such not worth as
much as I paid for it. I contacted seller to ask for a price reduction as book was not as advertised, she did
not dispute anything I said about the condition of the book but would not give any amount of refund on the price.
She did say I could return the book, which since my class was well under way I felt it to inconvenient to do other
wise I would have. I will not be buying from this seller again.

This was the book I needed for Accounting II, and I appreciated the fact that I received it prior to the start of my class, it also saved me some money because college text books can be expensive, and the shcool did not have any in stock . Thanks for having this book.
