Hot sexy story... Deeply thoughtful characters, erotic ménage, interesting tale, couldn't put it down !! The wonderful men, Mason and Tyler are perfect for Lacey. Their own M/M love is tastefully done. Sexy tale with deep feelings. ENJOY !!

This book had no story line. A couple chapters of police stuff followed by a couple chapters of sex. It never draws the reader in. Most definitely not a page turner. Glad I got it for free on Book Bub.

And this was no exception. Love the characters. Lacey is a strong, beautiful woman who has suffered so much yet still has capacity to give so much love. Tyler is sensitive and sweet and Mason is protective and fiercely loyal. The storyline was great. I couldn't put it down. Next up: the rest of the series!

Steamy sexy scenes and a well plotted mystery to boot, a most enjoyable way to spend time. Characters worth investing and fully developed embroiled in a race to track down a killer. Villain choice done well. I would recommend it to anyone that has an interest in MMF stories.

Avid reader here of romance and erotica. On average I download 3 to 5 books a week. This one of the best erotic romances that I have read to date. The only book that I have found that I consider better (in this sub genera) is Dangerous Boys and Their Toys by Shayla Black. Go ahead and buy this book. Happy reading;)!

This is a great read. Although a series, the book stands alone. The characters seem realistic enough that even the "stretches" don't bother me. It's an excellent mystery as well. The sex scenes are about as hot and varied as they come. I like all of it so well I'm re-reading it.

This is definitely NOT a romance novel, although there is a little romance thrown in. This is a good steamy read though, with plenty of yummy naughty bits (oh those Spaghetti-O's!). The suspense was great, kept me on the edge of my seat and kept me in the story. I recommend it, along with the other stories by the same author. Bravo!

Night Is Darkest by Jayne Rylon is a phenomenal read. This is M/M/F menage with M/M sex scenes also, some people may want to avoid this book for that reason. Ms. Rylon has delivered a well-written book. The characters are fantastic. Lacey has been crazy about her brother's best friends for years. When her brother is murdered Mason and Tyler try to help her without stepping over the line her brother drew years before. Their story is packed with action, suspense, smokin' hot sex and humor. I enjoyed reading Night Is Darkest and look forward to reading more from Jayne Rylon in the future. Night Is Darkest is book 1 of the Men In Blue Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

This book was hot but not all that good. Honestly, I found most of it a bit cheesy and kind of annoying. I wasn't the biggest fan of the way they treated Lacey. It annoyed me that they constantly were using pet names for her.

REVIEWER'S OPINION:
Most of the story is about the ménage a trois relationship of Mason, Tyler and Lacey. The sex scenes are arousing and very good. To like this, you need to be comfortable with gay men sex. There is a lot of rear door activity plus a little bondage and pain. The purpose of the book is erotic sex which it does well. Don't expect a fully fleshed out suspense story. However, the story is good enough to add some emotional elements and background for the relationships.

Most of the mystery and suspense story is told in the last four chapters. It is told after the fact rather than shown. It would have been better to "show" characters' thoughts, motives and actions during events happening in the past. This was nineteen chapters developing a relationship and sex, and then all of a sudden we need to tell a story and resolve it in order to finish the book. I had problems with some of the bad guys' motives and actions. I was confused. I had unanswered questions at the end. But that's ok, because this is an erotic book. I'm trying not to hold it to other standards. Just letting you know what's not there.

I had a minor problem with dialogue. The pet name "little one" might have been ok but it was overused. And frequently calling out "love you" during sex seemed a little off.

For more than half the book, my feelings were 4 stars. But after I finished it, they dropped due to plot weaknesses.

Mason and Tyler like sharing a woman and also like sex with each other. Rob asked them to stay away from his sister Lacey, so they did. But they have always desired her, and she has desired them. The story begins with Rob being killed. Mason and Tyler comfort Lacey. Their comfort turns into sex at Lacey's request. The cops are investigating Rob's death as well as someone who has begun threatening Lacey.

I just couldn't connect with the characters. Its like being on an emotional rollercoaster but it's not thrilling but instead nauseating. Theres no way these three people belong in a relationship rght then. They should be seeing a therapist. I also didn't like the way the two male characters kept calling the female character "little one" like they were talking to a child.

Excellent plot. A policeman has been killed, and his sister (an ER nurse) and his two best lifelong friends (also police) are dealing with the aftermath. The writing is good, the sex is steamy. I'm just not into three-somes.

Great steamy romance that actually has a strong story line. If you like ménage romance, then this is the book for you. I would not recommend this book for the faint of heart or someone younger than 18.

Wow, I read the reviews and prepared to enjoy this book but the first chapter got off on the wrong foot and it just went downhill from there. In the very first chapter, her brother dies in a shock accident and his 2 best friends who are cops come over and tell her the bad news. In this first chapter you find out she has had a crush on the 2 friends since she was a teenager. Fair enough. What really disgusted me was that on the day of her brothers funeral, she goes upstairs to her room leaving all the guests in the house and gets it on with the two friends. One friend is smart enough to stop and leaves the room. The other ones continues. Then instead of her suffering the grief for her brothers death in the following days etc, you get sex scene after sex scene.

This turned me off the whole book big time. I mean really, sleeping around during your brothers funeral...sick.

Also, one of the best friends rejects her and keeps insulting the other best friend. Then when he gets horny enough he just joins in and neither the friend or girl mention his bad and insulting behaviour. They just let him come in and take control the way he likes.

I couldn't even finish this book. I couldn't get into the female lead character or the 2 best friends. The sex scenes are good, but that's about it in this book unfortunately.

Book republished. I read it several years ago. This really upsets me that Authors are republishing old books and not sharing with the readers. As in the past, the storyline was okay, but too much emphasis was placed on the menage' and not enough to the crime involving Lacey's brother Rob. Mason and Tyler had a hot relationship but it fail short with Lacey.

Overall this is a really great story. Just a couple of caveats. First, at times it is difficult to follow. I found myself having to re-read segments to understand who/what was happening. Secondly, some of the sex scenes (i.e., the clothespin scene) were excessive and rather than add to the story actually detracted. Seemingly added for the sake of more sex as in, if a little is good a lot is better. Sometimes however, less is more. Those criticisms aside, it is a good book and I look forward to the next in the series.
