What can I say, best Enneagram book for first-timers (not too overwhelming or detailed), but still has a lot of good info. Changed my life. So, so much more than other standard 'personality type tests'. Everyone in the world should really know about this stuff. Love the book, have given it and loaned it to many people.

This book is the most complete guide for understanding the Enneagram. It's a must to have when studying the Enneagram. It's the type of book you should have in your nightstand to remind you of your psychological and spiritual growth observation. It's a book which I suggest you take your time to read and digest . It is very rich in knowledge and eye opening to a life changing experience.

So i was looking for more detailed and incite into the different types on a spiritual level and thats what i got. I have the orange covered first book by the same authors and i love the detailed work that went into that book..I should have purchased this book sooner...i love the larger text and diagrams in it..this various lists are a tremendous help with understanding and comparing patterned within the types listed...im going to dissect this work further as i coach clients and this assists in understanding why people do what they do...highly recommended ...next...i plan to get a good book on the enneagram types that best go together relationship wise:-)

Be careful - this book is not for light reading or careless skimming. If you read through it carefully, it will give you the chance to change your life in profound and beautiful (albeit frighteningly honest) ways. Take the time to read it carefully. You deserve it.

This book combines the best of personality profiling with the insight of a therapist. It's very revealing - almost uncannily so. It nailed me to a tee. Once you know your "type," the book details insight after insight for how to live more abundantly within it.

I am in graduate school for social work. My supervisor recommend this book to me, and I am so glad she did. I love it! I highly recommend to anyone interested in personality types and/or personal growth.

One of the most informative books I have read about the Enneagram. Clear, comprehensive, with detailed descriptions and appropriate and well thought out psychological information regarding the different levels one can be at for each number .

Just what I was looking for, as another book about the Enneagram was challenging reading. This book explains the issues of personality and ego in away that is easier to understand. I didn't want to put it down for several days, and it is something I will keep coming back to.

For years now I have been developing my belief that until we know ourselves we cannot know anything for certain.. It has been an extremely interesting journey and has opened up countless possibilities.. The discovery of the enneagram type system just took me to the next level. This book is an excellent starting point for true self discovery. It is nicely formatted and an easy read. I highly recommend it.

This is "The Source" of information on the Enneagram. It is also used by Fr. Wm. Meninger in his exploration of the subject. The ancient adage "Know Thyself" is exemplified in this Masterpiece.
While contemplation is extremely important for interior developement, getting to know yourself and the reason for your actions is its external complement. You'll discover through "The Wisdom of the Enneagram" the path to self-knowledge.Self-awareness will lead the true seeker to self-correction and less suffering.
Greater humility, the antidote for pridefulness, is cultivated through self-knowledge.

Richard Rohr has written the Wisdom of the Enneagram. I studied the Enneagram with a group and have changed greatly. You may identify your personality numbers and review your life. Working through is not always comfortable. However, transformation to wisdom and understanding is well worth the effort to bring freedom and light to mind and soul.

This should be required reading for senior high school. Wish I had known of this much earlier in life. It really helps us to understand ourselves and others. Answers the question: "Why do I do the things I do?"
Good buy.
