Batman Smells! (P.S. So Does May) - Junie B. - First Grader

This book will not disappoint any Junie B. fan. Barbara Park understands the mind of a young 5/6 year old girl perfectly. It is fun to view this young mind and understand her reasoning. This book was fun to read during the holidays.

My 1st grade children can relate to Junie B. First Grader. They always have good summaries,predictions,and connections whenever I ask them a question everybody raises their hands.Sometimes I even get interested!

Junie B. does it again...she makes us laugh during one of the most memorable holidays in a young child's life!! We see a soft side of Junie B. which rarely shows itself, but allows us to get to know her that much more AND teaches us a life lesson! My daughter and I loved reading this together!

I read Junie B. Jones, First Grader: Jingle Bells, Batman Smells! (P.S. So Does May) to my fourth grade students before Christmas break and they loved it! The book uses humor to teach a gentle lesson about being kind to others.
