I think MJ-12 is real. I found the ideas presented in this book very logical. Majestic ordered JFK's assassination. What's more, we have the order, on original paper, burned from a fire. Dr. Michael Salla writes a very convincing history of events. He is able to cite sources and provides over 300 sources. I think the Marilyn Monroe chapter was one of the best. The great part about this book is it makes you think.

OK, I love these conspiracy books. And lets be honest, JFK and Marilyn Monroe killed because they were going to blow the lid open about UFO's being real? It doesn't get more fun than that. There are some interesting facts brought out by the author, especially regarding Kennedy and his possible connection with Navy Intelligence, and I can see Eisenhower acting the way he is described in the book (his threat to invade the then unknown Area 51 with the US Army is priceless). But as usual with the conspiracy books, there are leaps of logic we are asked to consider with no real proof except copies of secret documents where the originals no longer exist and that kind of thing. Still, if you are a UFO buff or a conspiracy fan, this will fill a hole in your life and you will enjoy the story. And who knows, if even 20% of it is true, then there really is something ugly to the story.

While Mr Salla has compiled an impressive amount of documents and testimony, his conclusions are often not supported by facts. Linkages between the documents he cites and UFOs are tenuous. I'm not sold on his theories yet....waiting for more.

Good book that included things I haven't heard before although the links to the mob was old stuff. The WWII info about meeting Ike and other powers was very interesting and gave me a better insight about why he felt the way he did. I'm old enough (72) to remember Dallas and have always believed it was a conspiracy. I recommend the book highly.

Very interesting concept and in the absence of any real definitive information, entirely plausible. The basic premise is simple and it is presented many and several ways throughout the book and to me, that detracts from the value. "If you read it enough times, you will believe it." I would have given this a better rating if the book were shorter and if it had presented some examples of the technology we derived from our interaction with ETs.

While the author is redundant in areas, I think he makes an interesting case for why Kennedy was murdered; and I thought President Kennedy's connection to our first secretary of defense was really interesting and something that I didn't know about before reading this book.

It weaves together well known facts in a logical manner and adds new tidbits of information that makes what we've already heard make a lot of sense. A compliment to this book is ALIEN AGENDA: Why they came Why they stayed. It helps link the information together.

I found this book quite interesting. I was 13 in November 1963 when Kennedy was assassinated. I remember how shocked and saddened the country was. If this story is true that MJ-12 and the CIA were responsible for Kennedy's (and Forrestal and Monroe's) assassination it is a tragedy with a dark future.

Much redundant reading. Could have given the same information in one third the space. It rambled and repeated until boredom overcame the reader. Never proved but one thing, that Kennedy's death was a result of not becoming a puppet of Majestic 12, the organization which planned to eventually rule the world while trying to convince the public that we were being ruled by
beings from outer space. Sad that a good president like Kennedy couldn't leave it alone so he could do a better job of
governing, but they successfully usurped his presidential power. Three people died senselessly because of a well-implemented hoax.

I'm amazed that so much has been hidden from the American people! This book exposes the cover-ups and corruption in a "shadow" government that needs to be reeled in like President Eisenhower warned. We're told in Jer. 16:19 that we will inherit lies. This book sure proves that is true. I appreciate people like JFK and Secretary of Defense James Forrestal who tried to change things for the better, and lost their lives in the process--assassinated, murdered by those around them who are power hungry. Everyone should read this book and get their eyes open. I thank Dr. Salla for writing it.

Supplies evidence for the theory that trying to regain control over the MJ12 group and the CIA led to Kennedy's assassination. Well documented throughout and presents the material in an easy to follow manner.

Motive behind deaths of JFK, Marilyn, Forestall, were a big surprise.
Couldn't put the book down.
Just enough detail to be understood.
Even if this were fiction, still a good read.
Should be turned into a video documentary.

The research that went into this book certainly gave me a clearer and fuller understanding of this aspect of history. Surprising the amount of deeper information that surfaced in this book, making me wonder what has been redacted out of history.

This proves you cannot judge a book by its cover. And it tends to get repetitive. However, in reality, it could have been written on one page and still pack a mighty punch. It tersely describes why and by whom JFK was murdered. In this case it is dead-on.

This book would have been a lot more interesting if it had been presented as a novel. As a non-fiction work, it is unconvincing. It seems that the narrative of the struggle by Kennedy to gain access to the secrets held by the MJ-12 group, which was protected by the CIA, was tortuously grafted onto all the events covered in the book in a way that didn't seem to ring true. Major Donald Keyhoe's books, starting with "The Flying Saucers Are Real" (1950), give a much better account of the so-called UFO cover-up.

I Love Science fiction, however combining all of this together is ridiculous. I can suspend my beliefs only so much and this book suggests it may infact be true. It certainly wasn't in my mind or taste. Michael E Salla may be a good Author and hold a Doctorate or several Doctorate Degrees, however this story wouldn't get by my own High School English Teacher. Some people may find this to be a good read, I personally did not find any of it believable or even entertaining.

As Marilyn Monroe's last publicist, I rather doubt the theory she was murdered to prevent her talking about extraterrestrials at a press conference. I knew her to be a heavy drinker and a sleeping pill taker and my opinion is that she inadvertently killed herself. A psychic told me she was in touch with Marilyn and had a message for me from her; "That I was a nice boy, and that I had told the truth about her in my autobiography, "All is Vanity." Also that Marilyn would be in touch with me. I'm waiting.

Dr. Michael E. Salla is director of the Exopolitics Institute, which studies UFO and extraterrestrial phenomena from the standpoint of how we can penetrate the veil of secrecy drawn by governments over the massive amount of UFO/ET contact that has reportedly taken place worldwide over the past seven decades. The main culprit in this secrecy, of course, is the government of the U.S. Timed to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, Dr. Salla's most recent book is "Kennedy's Last Stand: Eisenhower, UFOs, MJ-12 & JFK's Assassination." In this book, Dr. Salla links two mysteries: UFO/ET contact, which, to those who follow the research, is familiar territory, and the assassination of JFK on November 22, 1963, by parties as yet unknown. The question Dr. Salla addresses is whether there is a link between the two; more specifically, whether there is a connection between MJ-12, the secret governmental unit first set up by President Harry Truman to control information deriving from alleged UFO crashes at Roswell and elsewhere in the late 1940s, and the killing of JFK in Dallas, Texas, over a decade later. The UFO/ET literature is also full of accounts of President Dwight D. Eisenhower's own contacts with representatives of other worlds, which Dr. Salla reprises to some extent. But Eisenhower was also fully a party to keeping the public from knowing anything of substance. And despite an apparent attempt to gain information about what was going on at CIA-controlled secret sites in Nevada, Eisenhower never had any control over what MJ-12 or the CIA were doing. When he gave his famous public warning against the growing power of the "military-industrial complex" just before leaving office in 1961, it was far too little and far too late. JFK was left holding the bag in inheriting this potentially disastrous situation. By then the die was cast, especially given JFK's own interest in UFOs that started through his relationship with former Secretary of Defense James Forrestal. After the Bay of Pigs fiasco, by which JFK learned the extent to which the CIA could lie, even to the commander-in-chief, CIA Director Allen Dulles was forced from office. According to Dr. Salla, before his departure Dulles gave a secret order for JFK to be eliminated that was passed on to the CIA's counterintelligence chief James Jesus Angleton for implementation. Dr. Salla provides photocopies of the implicating documents, though their authenticity is obviously difficult to prove. The deed was done two years later, with the research of past decades indicating that it was likely coordinated by the CIA by utilizing hired killers from organized crime and the Cuban exile community, with cover provided by Lyndon B. Johnson, the military, and the FBI. So congratulations to Dr. Michael Salla in moving our knowledge of JFK and his role in the deeper history of our time further along in such a courageous and coherent manner. There are many indications that the CIA has waned in its influence in the last couple of decades, though its power may have been supplanted by other units within the nether regions of the Pentagon and/or other agencies, including the Mossad. Nevertheless, Dr. Salla's book "Kennedy's Last Stand: Eisenhower, UFOs, MJ-12 & JFK's Assassination" is a must-read in furthering our understanding of these tremendously important events. This review is based on a review copy provided by Dr. Salla.

I would not recommend this book. It is devoid of facts and offers only unsubstantiated speculation. The infamous Roswell incident is most simply explained as the crash of an experimental jet-powered VTOL aircraft designed by captured Japanese engineers in the aftermath of WWII, but the American government was loathe to admit that Japanese engineering had achieved something so sophisticated. To add insult to injury, the book included unsubstantiated and unbelievable speculation that both President Kennedy and his brother Robert had sexual relationships with Marilyn Monroe. Her death is most simply explained by an overdose of prescription sedatives, as she had a known history of depression. The moral midgets who murdered the Kennedys have stopped at nothing to besmirch their reputations. Dead men cannot defend their reputations.

O.K., this is not a "smoking gun" book; it's a "could have been/might have been/was possible" book. But it's got all the right munchies for a rollicking read on your next airline trip: Jack, Bobby, greys, Majestic, and MM. Who woulda thunk that Bobby snuffed her because she was about to blow Area-51 pillow talk? That would have been some press conference!

I think that Dr. Salla, like me, got a charge out of that delightful television series _Dark Skies_ about a sinister Majestic's involvement in that Dallas unpleasantness, and decided to see if he could assemble enough gossip and fuzzy/blacked-out pieces of paper to make it stick. A valiant effort, but unfortunately not quite the brass ring. Here, for instance, are once again several of those "Majestic documents", like the "Ike briefing", that are transparent fakes. Unfortunately this can't help but cast doubt on the substance of the other quotes, documents, and citations throughout the book. Anyone can say, and type, and paste-up anything. All of the named "Majestics" are croaksville, so we can't drag them on to Jerry Springer to get them to fess up.

I like a good sci-fi yarn as well as the next Goa'uld, but unfortunately there are two slam-dunk impasses for ET, neither of which is all that incomprehensible. (1) The "Andromeda Strain" problem: Any organism from a completely unEarthly biosphere would leave a massive and disruptive biofootprint upon even stopping here to take a pee, much less suck up farmers for anal probes. Didn't we learn all about this in _War of the Worlds_? (2) Warp-factors, "hyper jumps", and "wormhole" nonsense aside, interstellar space is just too vast for anyone from anywhere else to get here, much less back, in anything remotely resembling a biological lifespan. Sorry, but there it is.

So we're left with what? Moon Nazi vixens with lots of cleavage, of course, and all those neato Black Budget hot rods being Skunked out there in the Nevada desert. I think the market is ripe for a sensational exposé about - [REDACTED]

Book Review: Kennedy’s Last Stand by Michael D. Salla

This is an interesting book which brings together various evidence for the postulate that JF Kennedy knew about UFOs and aliens (extra-terrestrial biological entities or EBEs) and was prepared to disclose this information to the world. Dr Salla brings together data from the history of the whole ufo/alien affair in the USA from 1947 onwards. It is well known now that there was a secret organization in the USA set up by Harry S. Truman the President in 1948, known as Majestic 12 (or MJ-12). Later, when Eisenhower was president, he was informed about aliens and the existence of MJ-12 but chose to keep it quiet, although there are rumors that Albert Einstein was also there when Eisenhower was shown the dead aliens. One of the MJ-12 members was Secretary James Forrestal who apparently wanted to disclose the alien problem as well but was later hospitalized and presumably murdered to keep quiet (i.e. he was apparently strangled and thrown out of a building to look like a suicide). This was what was told to witnesses at the Roswell crash- they had to keep quiet otherwise they would be killed. An evil society that is for sure. Salla states that Kennedy and Forrestal were very good friends, having met up in World War 2. A picture of Kennedy visiting and staring intently at the grave (stone) of Forrestal is noteworthy because I have never seen this in any other book. There was definitely something between Kennedy and Forrestal- Forrestal was probably secretly filling in Kennedy on the ufo/alien problem during a period of time.

Dr Salla provides the first page of the famous Eisenhower briefing document which outlines the MJ-12 organization and what they knew at that time about aliens. The document is stamped Top Secret/Majic Eyes Only. The Cutler-Twining memo is also reproduced and this is another important document dealt with in other publications as well. A letter which I have not seen in any book so far is a memo from President Kennedy which is addressed to Allan Dulles of the CIA requesting a review of MJ-12 operations as the prelate to cold war psychological warfare. Its only a short memo but an explosive one! In this memo it is clear that Dulles was part of a later MJ-12 and was indeed a sinister character who didn’t want the President to know what MJ-12 members etc. were up to as regards the alien problem.

In another chapter Dr Salla postulates who were the members of MJ-12 during the Kennedy administration but there is at this stage no memos or other printed information to support this list of MJ-12 members, but nevertheless it may be close to the truth.

It has often been rumored that gorgeous Marilyn Monroe had knowledge given to her from President Kennedy about aliens and other matters, which she wrote down in a little red diary. Marilyn became cheezed off with Kennedy after being rejected romantically and threatened to go public with all kinds of information including what she knew about the alien problem. She was mysteriously murdered before any information from her red diary could be publicized.

This book provides the real reason President Kennedy was murdered. The conclusion is thus: President Kennedy wanted to reveal to the world the existence of extra-terrestrials, their technology and the fact the government had been in contact with them. The book provides documentation that it was this great desire for disclosure by President Kennedy that resulted in his murder.

Dr Salla clearly indicates that the assassination of President Kennedy was most likely co-ordinated by the CIA by utilizing hired killers from organized crime with their cover provided by Vice-President Lyndon B. Johnson, the military, and the FBI. Therefore Lee Harvey Oswald was definitely a patsy as he always stated before being conveniently killed by Jack Ruby.

This is an important book which ties together a lot of material from other book sources and internet articles. Highly recommended.

Somehow it always seemed logical to me that Kennedy's death might have had its roots in the issue of space, UFO politics and his desire to cooperate with the Soviet Union in the area of space exploration. It's tragic (no, make that criminal) that the secret government that President Eiesenhour called the military industrial complex has been able to cover up our true history for so long and get away with the illegal and unconstitutional usurping of our government and our tax money. Not by overt force but by intimidation, covert assassinations lies, ridicule, and marginalization of anyone who dares to link the acronym UFO with any study of the assassination of Pres. Kennedy or even a true study of our unearthly visitors. It's the tragedy of the twentieth century that we are left with a history book full of lies, half truths and omissions. I'd love to give this book 5 stars. But it is so poorly edited, full of typos and junk that makes it hard to read there is no way I can put 5 stars on it even though the subject matter and facts would otherwise warrant it.

Please! revise this book! Keep the content an fix the poor editing!

Dr. Michael Salla’s book with the unwieldy title of Kennedy’s Last Stand: Eisenhower, UFOs, MJ-12, & JFK’s Assassination is a jaw-dropper, as well as tongue tripper.

In case you like your conspiracy theories lumped together in one big lollapalooza, this work succinctly provides all the answers to all the questions of what’s really going on in the universe, as well as on Earth.

We couldn’t put it down. And, we have no put-downs for the tale.

To whet your taste buds, we can only mention that movie star Marilyn Monroe was murdered because she was about to hold a press conference and announce that President Kennedy was covering up a major UFO secret: we had captured saucers and aliens.
From there, the chapters maintain a constant high pitch—from President Eisenhower’s threat to use the U.S. Army under his command to attack and take over Area 51 in the 1950s unless the CIA gave him information he wanted about their hidden spaceships.

Young John Kennedy’s friend was Secretary of Defense James Forrestal whose incarceration at a Bethesda Hospital had more to do with his attempt to reveal the truth about Roswell than a mental breakdown. Was he murdered, or did he jump out a window?
James Angleton, one of the slippery folks over at CIA, put together a take-out policy for any politician who might reveal the EBE problem (Extraterrestrial Biologic Entity). No one in the know calls them ETs.

They even kept J. Edgar Hoover in the dark despite his protests that he should have access to the captured aliens.
If this sounds preposterous, it’s not. In the hands of Dr. Salla who painstakingly documents and attests to the various theories and crackpot notions, you have a couple of lids blown sky high.

It all makes sense in the larger scheme of plots and counterplots. Next time you see a UFO coming toward you, we strongly advise that you run and hide.

With every turn of the page my eyes are opened wider. Dr. Michael Salla has put a lot of work into this book and answers so many of the questions I've had throughout my life. I remember when JFK was killed. I always wanted to know why? The answers are jumping off the pages, along with so many other truths that have been locked away for far too long. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has ever asked 'why'? to so many of the things that have happened in our country. Keep looking upwards, there is more there than people are talking about!

Readers who follow alien-related subjects should read this book. Salla walks us through documents that appear to show how CIA chief Allen Dulles and Counter-Intelligence head James Angleton worked to end JFK's tours of secret US bases, which was giving Kennedy a good overview of alien-related programs in government. It appears Dulles and his confrere decided to kill JFK to keep everything secret. From Kennedy's visit to the (end of WWII) Potsdam summit at the invitation of Secretary of Defense James Forrestal, to RFK's conversations with Col. Philip Corso, we see that, like Eisenhower, JFK had to dig a deeply to find out about alien crash incidents and downed alien artifacts. Forrestal may have been murdered to keep a lid on secrets that Forrestal told JFK and some others. That was heinous, but the worst part is the outlines of who wanted to hide everything. As a researcher, I know that Allen Dulles' family earned its money working for Rockefellers and Allen Dulles also worked for the DuPont family (United Fruit Company) in Guatemala before moving to CIA. So, it's likely that we now see the basic outlines of who it was that wanted JFK dead, but the question for analysts is why would they try to thwart competent, safe human awareness about grays, gray hybrids and related aliens operating in the near-Earth environment? The alien subject was important, and JFK was heatedly investigating it, but as Eisenhower warned, those same families were trying to cut presidents, legislators, and the press off in order to dominate human-alien relations, somehow. Why, and toward what end? Read this book to find out.

Few books have grabbed me like this one. While the thesis offered, namely that Kennedy was killed, along with Forrestal and Monroe earlier, in order to protect the "UFO secret", seems incredible, Salla supports it with a bevy of confirmed and alleged-to-be genuine documents.

How does Dulles, an enemy of Kennedy, and likely someone who had a hand in his murder, get a seat on the Warren Commission. Why is key evidence left out of their conclusion?

I have always suspected the CIA and LBJ as being part of this coup. This book seems like it offers as good a theory as I have seen to tie these events together. I would consider this book as must read, for anyone interested in the subject.

This book is not easy to read; it's based on diligent research; it mentions many key facts over & over for comparison & analysis; and it has over 300 footnotes, plus an annotated bibliography. In other words, it was not written to entertain you; it was written to convince you of "hidden facts" about 20th century America. But if you have enough patience, enough focus, and enough brain cells to work you way through it...this book will ROCK YOUR WORLD.

If you firmly believe that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone, and if you think UFO's are nonsense, don't bother to read this. But if you have ever wondered about UFO's, or the Kennedy assassination, then this book is a MUST-READ. BTW: from my military service, I can vouch for several items in this book, re: UFO's. So I believe this author is telling us the truth. Read it. See what you think.

This was a worthwhile purchase for sure. The bibliographical references alone have opened my eyes to a world of UFO researchers and their work (Timothy Good just one example) which has in turn got me to look at some of the books and stories written in the '50's like George Adamski, and to not be so dismissive of those stories as I have been. Especially in light of the revelation that Dr. Sallas talks about the CIA's ownership of The National Enquirer! That was just one of several revalations (for me) I got out of this book.
Having read "Double Cross", the story of Sam Giancana, it was interesting to read the chapter on Marilyn Monroe in "Kennedy's Last Stand". Even though I have not been particularily interested in the story of her death, from reading these two books I found it to be very eye opening to read about the connections that really do seem to exist that tie UFO's, Kennedy's assassination, and the possible murder of Ms. Monroe together...I'll never look at a National Enquirer Headline the same way as I used to!!! LOL !!!!

The Majestic-12 people were one of a long list of very powerful covert interests whom JFK really p-o-ed. Add them to the CIA after firing director Dulles and threatening to scatter the ashes of the agency to the winds, the Fed after replacing federal reserve notes with silver certificates, the military-industrial complex after making plans to pull out of Viet Nam, the Mafia after he and brother Bobby began intense prosecutions, the Vice President who had a mutual hatred for him, the anti-Castro people after the failed Bay of Pigs invasion, and the military psychos who advised him to use nuclear force against Russia during the Cuban missile crisis. These are all groups with means and motive to make anyone disappear and even strike down a sitting president. Take your choice or maybe it was a joint effort. A very good book that presents a logical list of suspects is "JKF and the Unspeakable" by James Douglass. Douglass also mentions the UFO connection.

I've read up on MJ-12, JFK's assassination and UFO's for a long time. This book had quite a bit of very intriguing new to me information in it. Quite a bit on documentation of Eisenhower's involvement with UFO's. Very interesting to know about Kennedy's intelligence exposure to UFO's in Germany and before he became President. All-in-all, a very interesting book.

This is a very good read, I highly recommend it as it filled in a lot of gaps that I've never heard of before. If you are into the field of UFO's and coverups and the like then its a must read. A lot of what might have been the real reason Kennedy was assinated was the CIA and their hatred for JFK.

The pro's are that the author makes really interesting and logical connections between events related to his theory. The con's are, the book is annoyingly repetitious, as if it was done to make a short book a couple of chapters longer. I kept thinking the bookmark on the kindle was moving itself backwards each time i picked it up to read. There is a lot of rehashing versus reminders. Rehashing being, repeating information as if it were the first time it was written and last chapter is basically a summary. Save yourself some time and read the last chapter and you wont miss a thing.

This is a very interesting book, and gives quite an interesting twist to the "Who killed President Kennedy" assassination theories. But...I gave it three stars because it is a lot of speculation. President Kennedy could have, might have and may have done this or that does not make a complete case for staying that he was assassinated because he was going to reveal UFO secrets. I doubt whether we will ever find out who was really behind the assassination.

I liked it, and it wouldn't be out of character for our government to do such a thing, however, I can't attest to the accuracy of any of the evidence. It is sometimes repetitive and assuming facts not in evidence, but I confess a love of reading conspiracy novels, and you never know...

While the book posits an interesting assessment of Eisenhower and Kennedy and some of the key players and events of the Cold War, several grammatical errors, misplaced punctuation marks, and excessively narrow margins work to distract the reader from the narrative. While reading I found myself questioning how so many errors got past the editors.

I thought that the author spent too much time repeating the same information without introducing new thoughts. The overall thesis is intriguing but there seemed to be a lack of substantiated material.

I downloaded the e-book version and found it essentially unreadable because of formatting problems, typos, jumbled sentences, and apparently missing material. the store refunded my money, but I sense that the author has done some diligent research and has something worthwhile to say. The author's credibility is severely diminished by allowing such as poor end-product to be made available for purchase. I would order the print version but fear that it may be just as bad by this unknown-to-me publisher because the print version may be generated by the same effed-up computer file. Since the print version is print-on-demand, Barnes & Noble will only order it if the buyer prepays. If someone has read the print version and found it to be flawless or nearly flawless, as it should be, please post a review.
