Reviewing on behalf of Relentless Book Chics Ramblings and Reviews
I loved Quinn and Cat! She’s adorably clueless and he’s insanely sexy.
Seeing an upcoming release from these authors is like Christmas coming early and I can’t wait to see what deliciously funny and romantic treat they have in store. The Mavericks NFL team were first introduced in the Bad Boy Billionaires series and it’s great that the key players each get their own stories and it also gives us the chance to reconnect with our favourite characters from previous books.
Quinn Bailey is the quarterback for the New York Mavericks and is known as a ladies’ man by his teammates. In truth, Quinn is a gentleman and all it takes is for that one special person to catch his eye and he’s hooked and won’t let anything get in the way of his pursuit.
Cat is a flight attendant for Royal air and loves her job and her colleagues. While on a routine flight to Birmingham, her gay bff points out a hot passenger and Cat agrees that having eye candy on the flight makes the obnoxious passengers more bearable. When the flight is re routed to Atlanta because of bad weather, Cat is left with the dilemma of getting to her next flight in Birmingham and is left with no other option than to get a train where she’s reunited with the hot passenger from her flight and they exchange numbers before going their separate ways.
Cat isn’t a fan of sport so she has no idea that Quinn is a famous football player until she googles him at the train station and then battles with her insecurities when she wonders why a man who looks like he does and could have any woman he wants, would be interested in her.
Quinn will make you swoon with his wit and charm and Cat is sweet and adorably clueless about sport which makes this an entertaining read. There are some serious elements to the story when the characters are faced with prejudices from family which were heart breaking to read but brought a deeper element to the story. I highly recommend this story and look forward to the rest of the series.

Max Monroe- the queens of rom-com meet sports romance- yes please and thank you! I devoured Wildcat. DEVOURED IT! The main reason, the QB, the one and only Quinn Bailey.
Holy swoon city! That man is what what book boyfriends (and real life ones) should be made of.
He is dedicated to his job and his family. And he is a giver to his fans. While he lives life in the public eye he hasn't let his fame inflate his head to the point where he lost he he was. It was a pure twist of fate that brought the adorably awkward Cat into his world.
Cat was awesome. I loved her sincerity and that she had her tribe. She loved her family and friends fiercely and didn't waste her time on the things that didn't matter. That was until Quinn's relentless pursuit of her put her in the limelight. It was a lot for her to handle and she didn't take it very well. Couple that with a less than warm welcome from some important people and her head became just as muddled as heart.
From hurricanes and serenades to photo walls to sassy comebacks, this book was Max Monroe at their finest. Cat and Quinn's story was a fascinating balance of timeless romance meets issues that are everywhere in today's society. Wildcat was so funny, so sexy and so, so charming that I couldn't help but get lost in the pages. A few Wes and Winnie sightings didn't hurt either. I am all in and ready for more of the hard playing, fun loving Mavericks.

I am a huge football fan, and football romance is one of my absolute favorite reads. And wow, Wildcat is in my top five favorites! I freaking loved every bit of Quinn and Cat’s romance. It was smart, fresh, sexy fun and I couldn’t read Wildcat fast enough to keep up with Quinn and his “wooing Cat” shenanigans.
I love a smart, ambitious, “comfortable in her own skin” woman. I love Cat’s attitude and approach to life. And how dedicated she is in improving herself and making her own way. I also love how she reacted to the adorable meet-cute with Quinn.
And Quinn. The man has lived the life of a golden boy—star player on and off the field. I love his confidence, his “joie de vivre” and how he’s willing to relentlessly pursue his dreams in work and life.
Wildcat is told in dual POV which is actually the perfect way to get to the heart of both Quinn and Cat. I loved their slow burn relationship and having the “inside track” on their thoughts added so much to the story for me. I loved their interactions. Loved how they got to know each other. And I cannot wait for more in this Mavericks Tackle Love series.

Max Monroe has done it again!
We meet Mavericks quarterback, Quinn Bailey and he is incredibly swoon worthy on so many levels. Quinn will be your new book boyfriend!
Quinn meets Cat Wild on a flight where she works for Royal Air. There is immediate chemistry and curiosity between both characters. This is a football romance that involves a little more romance than football. Perfectly written. You could picture every facial expression, every moment that these characters went through or shared.
Without giving spoilers, trust that you will enjoy this book and it's super sweet, super steamy and captivating love story! You will find yourself cheering on both characters and even fall in love with supporting characters as well. I loved Denver, Quinn's younger brother.
Go and one clickthos book. Max Monroe never disappoints in the sexy rom-com department. They seriously scored a touchdown with this one and I can't wait to read the next book in the series! But just like Thatch in the Billionaire Bad Boys series, Quinn may be my number one in this series....I can't wait to see if I'm right or wrong.
5 Touchdown Stars!!

Intriguing to run across this book that has a lot of mysterious monikers all rolled into one name. Or as they state, ‘A secret duo of romance authors team up under the pseudonym Max Monroe to bring you a sexy, laugh-out-loud new series…& more. ;) New writing partners and long time friends, Max and Monroe strive to live and write all the fun, sexy swoon so often missing from their Facebook newsfeed. Sarcastic by nature, their two writing souls feel like they’ve found their other half.’
The refreshing aspect of their books is the degree of humor that they infuse with steamy erotica. The language is a bit overdone in the potty mouth category, but it fits the story just fine. Naughty all the way.
Synopsis - ‘I’m Quinn Bailey, quarterback for the New York Mavericks and a homegrown Alabama boy. My southern manners mean I’ll be polite to your mama, but when it comes to the bedroom, I’m downright rude. Dirty talking, big in all the right places, and an expert in making you moan. I talk a big game, but I know how to deliver—on and off the field. Sports analysts predicted I’d break records and take my team all the way this year. But no one predicted this Wildcat. So, tell me…are you ready to play? Trust me, I’ll make it good. (And a few definitions - Wildcat: a football formation in which the ball is snapped, not to the quarterback, but to another player lined up in the quarterback position. Wild, Cat: a beautiful woman from the sky, who hooked me against the rails, and has me on the ropes. Sweet like honey, with a hint of sass burning behind her pretty brown eyes, she took over my heart without warning.)’
The clever way these two writers spin character studies is topnotch. For example, they open their book with a football diagram and then explain it in a fun way –‘You see all of those O’s? That’s my team, The New York Mavericks. And that little circle in the center with the letters QB? That’s me, Quinn Bailey. I’m the quarterback, and funnily enough, my initials match my job title. Some call it coincidence, but I call it kismet. I was born to eat, sleep, and breathe Mavericks football. Now, the X’s, well, they’re the other team. You can forget about those because they don’t matter. When I get done with them, all you’ll remember is me. Trust me, I’ll make it good. Are you ready to play?’ Then shortly after comes the steam of erotica which the writers have mastered.
That is just a taste of the bouncy fun ride that carves this series so securely. Read one of their books and you’ll likely be looking for the next. Grady Harp, February 18

4.5 @QuinnBailey + @WildCommaCat = 4ever! stars
“It only takes one minute of bravery. One minute of insane, embarrassingly crazy courage to change your life. Sometimes, it only takes that one minute for something great to happen.”
Wildcat delivers a sweet and swoony love story that left me with a huge smile on my face. It has the classic Max Monroe humor with a whole lot of heart, and I couldn’t put it down!
Quinn Bailey is the quarterback for the New York Mavericks. During the season, he is all about football. He stays away from distractions at all costs; however, when a certain flight attendant catches his eye, he can’t seem to stay away and his life gets flipped upside down.
I loved Quinn! He is an amazing on and off the field. He is considerate, genuine, and patient with fans, and it was refreshing to have a major sports star stay grounded and not let the fame go to his head. I couldn't help but fall for this sweet, goofy, all-around great guy. And he is especially romantic with Catharine which made me totally swoon!! I couldn’t get the goofy grin that formed whenever Quinn was around. The way he unabashedly pursues Catharine is endearing, and though he could be a little over-the-top, he makes it known that he likes strong women and Catharine fits the bill.
Catharine is sassy, sweet, and awkward at times. The things that go through her head are hilarious and I loved her fun personality. She is wonderful, confident, and beautiful inside and out. She is a little timid at first when she was getting to know Quinn but I loved when she opens up and begins to take the lead while still having fun.
"That’s right, buddy. It’s on tonight. Tonight, I was Cat Wild, tigress. I would be bold, I would be confident, I would be irresistible. Hear me roar!"
Quinn and Catharine are amazing together. I loved how they met, it was so simple and cute. They just clicked and I believed their attraction. The banter is perfect, every interaction amusing, and there wasn’t any stupid stuff between them. I loved how functional they were as a couple while trying to make things work with their busy schedules. The way their relationship progressed was hysterical, especially with all of the “stalking,” and watching Quinn woo Cat made my heart flutter.
Being with a sports star isn’t always easy and just when things are almost perfect, everything goes wrong. I wanted to cry when Quinn and Cat hit some huge roadblocks. I was so angry with the way things went down and though there was a moment where I was even a little frustrated with Quinn, I understood the conflict he was going through. I am glad he quickly realized what was truly important and watching him accept his faults and grow as a person was awesome.
I have to give a shout out to the secondary characters. I loved Casey, Nikki, and Denver and the support they gave to Catharine and Quinn. I would love a Denver book because he seems like a really cool guy who needs to find love. I also loved getting little glimpses into the lives of the other Mavericks players and am excited to be getting Sean, Cam and Leo’s stories.
Sweet, romantic, and full of fun and feels, I couldn’t get enough of Wildcat. It is an amazing start to the new Mavericks series and I cannot wait for more!!

Max Monroe has already created some of my favorite alpha male heroes and quirky and sassy heroines in their catalog of stories, but when it comes to the charming southern gentleman with the right amount of sweet and sexy, Quinn Bailey tops them all, even Thatch, which I can’t believe I’m saying, but that doesn’t mean it’s any less true.
Mr. QB…Mr. High Profile Player…Mr. Eat, Sleep, and Breathe New York Mavericks football is the TOTAL package, and it’s not just because he has the body of an Adonis and the athletic skills of a god; Quinn Bailey is more than just a handsome man and a champion athlete. He’s playful, charming, flirtatious, and down to earth. He can be cocky, but he lives up to the hype because he knows how to call plays in the bedroom just as much as he does on the football field and in both arenas, he’s quite the superstar.
Quinn leads a very public life, but he’s truly a humble guy who feels blessed that he’s in the position that he’s in and he knows that fans and admirers are all a part of the professional sports world and he takes everything in stride, understanding that he made it to the big time due to his determination and skills but he remains there not only because he works his ass off but because he knows what’s important and what needs to be tuned out when it comes to the NFL, the media, and even his agent, his assistant, and his parents.
Quinn Bailey makes his own destiny, working off of the idea that it only takes ‘one-minute of bravery’ for ‘something great to happen,’ and by combining as many minutes of greatness that he can, he proves the kind of man, player, son, brother, and teammate he is day in and day out. But regardless of how prepared Quinn is for the new NFL season, taking the proper steps and measures to not only have another winning season but also to make it to the ultimate end game – the Super Bowl, he’s holy unprepared for a certain flight attendant who makes his heart race, his body hum, and his mind imagine all the things he’d like to do with a certain Kitty Cat.
I adore Wildcat’s heroine, Catharine Wild. She’s extremely relatable, and she keeps Quinn on his toes. She’s honest about who she is and what she feels, and her ‘realness’ is what makes Quinn want Cat even more. Despite Quinn’s more than obvious infatuation with her, Cat doesn’t know if she and Quinn can make a relationship work due to hectic schedules, the public’s perception of her ‘commonness’ compared to Quinn’s stardom, and certain people’s prejudice based on her heritage and upbringing. But Quinn’s not a quitter and so while he and Cat work to find a balance in their ‘new’ commitment to one another, Quinn continues to prove what he’s made of and how he feels about his ‘kitten’ through romantic and sexy texts, thoughtful words, and sweet endearments. Because from Quinn’s perspective, winning Cat’s heart is just as important as winning the Super Bowl for his New York Mavericks.
Wildcat is such a fantastic story, and while it’s a bit of a slow burn when it comes any ‘sexy’ times between the hero and the heroine, I thoroughly enjoyed Quinn and Cat getting to know one another and every time Quinn took it upon himself to prove that his connection to Cat was something he wanted to explore further through his ‘stalking’ tendencies by airplane and his desire to constantly FaceTime Cat, I knew that Quinn would continue to be the amazing QB that he is and learn to be an amazing boyfriend to the woman who makes him want to focus on more than just his job and extend it to the person who could quite possibly spend the rest of his life with…
Max Monroe’s new Mavericks’ series is off to a fantastic start and I, for one, can’t wait for them to introduce other pro football players and the women who make them want to go for more than just a touchdown or a field goal.

Thank you, Max. Thank you, Monroe. Thank you for gracing us with the hilarious sports romance that is Wildcat.
Wildcat is Quinn Bailey’s story. If you’re a fan of Max Monroe’s, you may remember him as the Mavericks’ quarterback from Scoring the Billionaire. He also made an appearance in Sleighed It. He’s a sweet Texan who isn’t looking for love. He’s completely focused on his job…until he meets a certain flight attendant who he can’t keep his eyes (and mind) off.
Quinn was everything I knew he would be from meeting him in previous books. He had a confident cockiness due to his profession, but he was also down to Earth. I loved that he valued family and commitments. I also loved how he stood up for what he believed in.
Cat was also a great character. She felt like a real person. I loved how she navigated Mr. Quarterback’s interested in her. She didn’t exactly get swept away in his popularity, and that was cool. Cat was the perfect match for Quinn.
Some of my favorite scenes in Wildcat were those on airplanes. I really enjoyed all the moments spent with Cat on the job. There were so many priceless little moments from the way Cat and Quinn met to one of my favorite books being mentioned. Actually, this entire book and all of its settings were my favorite. They made for so many hilarious things to happen! I can’t count the number of times my husband made fun of me for laughing out loud while reading.
There were some amazing secondary characters I can’t leave out of this review. Casey, Cat’s bestie, was hilarious. I need a friend like him. Denver, Quinn’s brother. His story was a little sad, but I loved what it brought to the book. Sean, Cassie’s brother and Quinn’s football teammate. Oh, and Wes and Winnie. They showed up for some important times. Seriously, so many great supporting characters!
Wildcat was such a joy to read. I can’t even explain how much fun it was. Everything about Cat and Quinn’s romance was magical. From the way they met to the very end, I couldn’t get enough of them together. I am so excited to see what comes next for Sean in this new series!
Whether you are a fan of the Billionaire Bad Boys series or just looking for a fun sports romance, this book is not one to miss. It’s fun, romantic, and downright hilarious. I highly recommend reading it!

Whether you are a fan of the Billionaire Bad Boys series or just looking for a fun sports romance, this book is not one to miss. It’s fun, romantic, and downright hilarious. I highly recommend reading it!

Move over Wes Lancaster, Quinn Bailey might be taking your spot for my favorite Max Monroe book boyfriend. Okay, maybe I'll need to think about your positions some more before making a final decision. LOL! But my goodness was Quinn fabulous! I loved everything about him. He had this easy and friendly nature that set people at ease as well as a passion for life, football, and love like no other. His swoon-worthy looks and romantic overtures were the icing on the cake. Sigh... And when he and Cat were steaming up the bedroom, I was in desperate need of a fan.
Quinn and Cat’s story had me laughing and smiling and my heart bursting with so much love. They were so stinking adorable! I loved everything about their journey to happily ever after. Their meeting was cute, as was Quinn's dogged determination to be a part of Cat's life. It was fun watching this big, bad, NFL quarterback not have the girl fall at his feet; he had to find the one woman on the planet with zero interest in sports. Then they had to actually work to spend time together. This was no insta-love, see each other whenever they wanted type book. Both had busy schedules, which required travel, and they were forced to spend weeks apart. This allowed their relationship to evolve naturally and mentally without the messiness that sex sometimes brings. It also allowed for us to witness how truly special and sweet Quinn could be. But with the good times must also come the bad. I appreciated the way Max Monroe dealt with the issue that brought on the breakdown of their relationship. They were sensitive to the topic as well as how the characters addressed it. And I loved the ending! It was perfect for this pair.
As they do so well, Max Monroe included several friends in Quinn and Cat's lives that added so much to their story. I adored all of the secondary characters' bringing their laughter and support. I can't wait to see the other Mavericks players find love! I would also LOVE to see a story about Casey and Denver!
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Readers Copy of this book.

Deanna told me several times to read something by Max Monroe, and I’m so glad I listened to her, because I absolutely loved Wildcat. The writing is amazing, and now I definitely want to pick up more books by this duo. It was the perfect mix and balance of comedy and swoony romance, so right up my alley.
I loved the 2 main characters, especially Quinn. It’s so refreshing to get an absolutely great guy as a romance hero, that was always a genuine good guy, and doesn’t mind fighting hard for the girl he likes. Quinn treated Cat like a princess right from the start, he knew what he wanted and he went after it, in the most sweet and amazing way. I also loved how he dealt with his fan base, and even his family, though his parents did not deserve it, to be honest. But his brother Devon stole my heart, and I want a book about him ASAP!
Catharine was such a beautiful and amazing woman. She took her time, but it was impossible not to fall for Quinn’s charms, and not to fall in love with him completely. She was such a strong and independent woman, and she always tried her best, and she was awesome.
As a reader, it was impossible not to fall in love with their connecting and their love for each other. The romance was slow to pick up pace, but when it did, it was full steam ahead. They were perfect together, even with all the difficulties they had to face.
I really liked the plot and the conflict. For awhile, I wasn’t quite seeing how a conflict was going to be introduced, because they seemed so amazing, but when it it, it was sad as s**t, and I wanted to murder someone. It reflects some truths about our society, and I loved how they were able to overcome it and become better because of it.
OVERALL, AMAZING EXPERIENCE, AND ONE OF MY FAVORITES FOR THE YEAR SO BAR. SO YEAH, GO PICK UP WILDCAT. I CAN’T WAIT TO READ ALL THE OTHER BOOKS IN THIS SERIE, AND HOPE AGAINST HOPE THAT A BOOK ABOUT DEVON (AND MAYBE CASEY) IS COMING OUR WAY.

“Can I kiss you, Kitty Cat?”
I’m completely, utterly, and ABSOLUTELY SMITTEN with this book! I’m a goner! I’m a puddle of FEELS! I’m head over heels! I’m too far-gone! There’s no coming back from this! You haven’t met the perfect book boyfriend until you meet Quinn ****ING Bailey! That man has RUINED me for all others. This series…these characters…the HILARIOUS banter all throughout…OMG! Ya’ll are in for one HELL of a SEXY TREAT!
Not only did WILDCAT keep my senses on overdrive, it gave me a deeper, more profound respect for flight attendants. And this, my friends, is where a WONDERFUL scene-stealing character named Casey STOLE the FREAKING SHOW! There were so many GREAT characters that were scene-stealers and I didn’t mind it one bit! I don’t think I’ve laughed this hard in quite a while, but I knew…I just knew that Max Monroe was going to take me there. I wish I had the time to list out every single character and what I adored about them, but that would take away from you discovering them for yourselves, and ALL OF YOU MUST discover and devour this book!
WILDCAT is the start of a brand NEW romantic comedy series titled: Mavericks and if this is just the start of it, I can’t wait to see what they come up with in the future, because this one right here is going to be SO HARD to beat!
WILDCAT was a tremendously EASY PICK for my TOP FAVORITE list of 2018! And this author is no stranger to my FAVORITES LIST, that’s for sure. I can’t wait for you to meet this set of characters, especially Quinn and Cat. These two just melt in your mouth! They give you the hilarity, the feels, the romance…ugh! It just has EVERYTHING you could EVER want in a romance read! And I’m not kidding about our hero. That man is EVERYTHING! You will find no one better right now…NO ONE! Get ready to fall head over heels in LOVE with Number 9!
“To the rest of the crowd, she may have looked like just another fan. To me, she looked like mine.”

The way Max Monroe can write rom coms, incredibly sweet and sexy, with endearing characters, full of sass with great chemistry, making all the ladies here freaking swoon… our winner is Quinn Bailey, QB’s Mavericks, and this hero hits all kinds of swoony levels, smoking hot and insanely cute.
I do like surprising encounters with a bit of awkward, and well this time Quinn is going to met his match into the air. This is a character you can definitely fall in love with, damn the southern charm. Sometimes love happen in the unexpected places, and when it strikes be careful of your heart.
You can trust the authors to write a story that would put a smile of your face, writing about characters don’t have any filters for sure, a bit of naughty and dirty, so spontaneous and refreshing. Watching two people fall in love in the process, in spite of media and people watching your every move, because being Quinn’s girlfriend come with a price, the lack of privacy and mostly being criticized about everything.
Quinn’s match was more than adorable, she had just this little spark and craziness, the perfect fit for Quinn. These two together… so freaking hot and terribly adorable. Both from different worlds but trying to make it work. Probably insane, but when you watched them together, it was definitely worth the fight.
Even with this fun and light-hearted side you might expect from a rom com written by these two authors, I was delighted to see something a bit different, speaking about some issues deep-rooted in reality, giving a great balance to the story.
A new series from Max Monroe and I’m already addicted! Once again, the secondary characters were priceless and colorful, making you want to read more about them.
Watch out people, the Mavericks are coming…

Swoooooon. I swooned so hard with this book. Wildcat is the newest release by Max Monroe and it gave me all the feels. I swooned, it tugged at my heartstrings, and it was full of the humor that Max Monroe is well known for. Wildcat is the first book in the Mavericks Tackle Love series, a spin off of the Billionaire Bad Boys series. You don't need to read the BBB series to read this series. There might be a couple spoilers but nothing major if you read this book before those. I do recommend reading that series though because it's amazing.
Quinn Bailey is the quarterback of the New York Mavericks. He's a sweetheart that's sexy as sin. I love me a Southern man and Quinn Bailey meets all my requirements. I loved how genuine and humble Quinn is. There wasn't one thing I found wrong with Quinn.
Cat Wilde is living her best life. She's got a great job, great friends, and lives in the big city. The last thing she's looking for is a relationship. But when a tall drink of water in the form of Quinn Bailey shows up she rethinks that. I liked Cat but at times her insecurity bothered me. I screamed at my kindle on numerous occasions "He likes you! Why can't you see that?! You're enough!". I mean, I get it. Insecurity is totally a thing that women go through but it seemed a little much in this book.
We can't forget about the side characters in this book. They're AWESOME (except for two of them but I won't go there, you'll have to read to find out who and why) and I NEED Max Monroe to give them a book. I'd even be happy with a novella but I MUST HAVE MORE CASEY AND DENVER!!
Overall I enjoyed this book. It was slow for me at first but once I got a little bit into it I loved it and couldn't read fast enough. Great first book of a series that I know I will love.

FUN. FLIRTY. HILARIOUS. UTTERLY CHARMING! Wildcat, the first book in their new series, is all of this and more.
Quinn Bailey. Quinn freaking Bailey. Where has this man been my whole life? He oozes charm and charisma. Every line that came from his mouth had me laughing or swooning. I caught myself smiling like a loon reading his chapters. I couldn’t get enough of him or his romantic and ridiculous antics! He is absolutely What every romantic comedy hero should be.
Cat is such a great heroine, a bit awkward, hilarious, beautiful, yet she has a level of insecurity. This insecurity presented by the authors, though, isn’t a result of how she sees herself but how the public will see her and her worth of the beloved QB, and this allows her to be seen, still, as strong heroine, one who is the perfect awkward match to Quinn.
True to the Max Monroe world, they have introduced us to a bevy of wonderful secondary characters who I cannot wait to see again and get to know. It is truly one of the aspects of their series that I love!
This story is a slow burn, which often makes it hard for me to get into books, but the banter and flirting between Quinn and Cat is enough to keep readers invested. The chemistry between them is palpable with words alone, and when they finally come together the payoff is worth it. The conflict threw me for a loop, and I wasn’t expecting what sets it all in motion. It is resolved very quickly, and I ultimately wish this time would have been more drawn out or more explosive. The ending, though, boy, that ending had me grinning like a loon and falling more in love with Quinn Bailey.
Need a good laugh? Need a hero so Charming you will swoon? Need a slow burn with insane flirting and chemistry? Then you need Wildcat! It is romantic-comedy perfection!

I absolutely adored QUINN BAILEY in Wildcat. Not to mention how much I loved Catharine a/k/a Cat or Kitten.
Quinn Bailey has had his fair share of partners in the bedroom. So when he stumbles upon Catharine while on a plane back to Birmingham to visit his family, he was thrown off kilter. Cat is a flight attendant and the hot gentleman in 2A has caught her eye. So when the two of them are delayed in Atlanta and end up on the same train to Birmingham, sparks begin to fly.
Quinn never divulges what he does for a living. In his defense Cat never asked. So Quinn enjoyed the next few hours conversing with the beautiful woman. The woman was interested in him for who he was, not what he does for a living.
Quinn can not stop thinking about Cat. The same goes for Cat. Cat can't get the images of those vibrant blue eyes from her mind. After exchanging numbers, Quinn takes it upon himself to keep in touch with Cat. Even with his pre-season schedule, he manages to spend time with her, even if he has to go out of his way.
When Quinn's identity is revealed, so are some of Cat's insecurities. Why would a pro football player want me? What does he see in me? Am I as pretty as the other women he's been with?
Cat is the exact opposite of the other women he has been with. Maybe that's why their relationship seems to work. When Quinn and Cat face a few obstacles in their way, will they be able to overcome them? Is Cat willing to fight for love? Will Quinn allow the ignorance of others to drive a wedge between the two?
Wildcat is a great start to a new series. It was an easy, fast read.

When I heard the dynamic duo Max Monroe was starting a new series I literally jumped up and down! I couldn't wait to get my hands on more of their words. Their writing is hysterical and their characters are swoonworthy. In Wildcat the first book in the Mavericks series you get everything you’d come to expect from a Max Monroe book. This book is EPIC and will definitely go down as one of my favorite stories ever! Quinn and Cat’s journey is filled with lots of laughs, amazing chemistry, and so much heart!
Quinn Bailey is the quarterback for the New York Mavericks. He is 6’6, 228 lbs of pure muscle, and has the most beautiful heart. He decides to go for a quick visit to see his parents and brother in Alabama before the season starts. Quinn wasn’t expecting to meet Cat and have such crazy chemistry but on the flight to AL he did just that. What turns into one of the best nights of his life, he decides he needs to know more about this woman. Little did he know he would be chasing her all over...just to win her heart. Catharine Wild is a flight attendant for Royal Air. She’s used to dealing with crazy customers but when the hot guy sitting in first class won’t stop staring she puts it aside to do her job. Little did Cat know that Quinn is tenacious and famous-and when you put those two qualities together you get ONE HECK OF A WILD RIDE!!!!
I can’t even begin to tell you how much Quinn Bailey stole my heart. He was everything you could ever want in a book boyfriend and so much more! And Cat was the perfect balance to make this book absolutely fantastic.I laughed out loud so many times and also shed a few tears. I seriously cannot wait for book two in the series!

Quinn MotherFluffin Bailey will charm the cover right off your Kindle.....
This book was more than worth the wait. The anticipation leading up to it was no joke and these authors delivered. They more than delivered. I'm changing my Insta # to @mrsquinnbaileyforreal.
I love love love every single thing about this book. Every single word, every chapter, all the characters, the situations they found themselves in (the good and the bad) and that EPIC HEA. There is seriously not enough words to describe the amazing-ness that is this storyline. Quinn will be ranked as a number one book boyfriend for all rom com lovers for years to come. Cat is the kind of leading lady you want to be friends with in real life. I freaking loved how devastatingly charming and swoon worthy Quinn is. I loved how awkward Cat is. I loved that their storyline was so different from others before them. I loved the twist of the bit of angst towards the end. I loved how Cat came out strong....I love how Quinn just loved her for her....no matter the thoughts of others. Did I mention I loved everything about this book? I started reading it....and did not stop until 3:45 in the morning. So here's my advice....read the book. But don't start at night. Because you won't be able to stop. Trust me. But don't let this deter you. Buy it. Read it. Love it. And you will want to change your Insta # too.....I promise that to you.
I couldn't pick just one quote or even two to share with you.....because I would have to input the entire book HERE....and ain't nobody got time for that.

I am loving this new series from this author!!! We get all the same humor and heat as all the other books! The meeting of these two characters probably goes down as one of my favorite meets! It was funny and sweet...ah I just loved it! And from there the story just progressed and so did their relationship. I thought this was really well written and had great flow. I felt like I lost some of that fun banter that I really enjoyed in the middle of the story. But there was an interesting twist in the plot that isn't one we typically read about romance novels so that was refreshing. Overall, if you love humor and heat in your books, this is a great one and if you are familiar with this authors other books, you will not be disappointed in this one!

OMG THIS BOOK!!! Every book from Max Monroe gets better and better!!! This book was sooooooooooo good!!!
I loved Quinn in all the cameos he made in the Bad Boy Billionaires books, so I was stoked to learn he was getting his own book. And it did not disappoint!!!
Quinn will charm the pants right off your body. He’s that good. He’s sweet and sexy and funny and swoony and he sings and he plays football and he’s just all the things.
Cat is amazing. It’s really hard for me to relate to the heroine in a book because I always feel like she’s not good enough for my man. LOL!!! This is not the case here. I absolutely loved her!!! She’s strong, but still vulnerable. She’s independent, but still allows her family and friends to give a helping hand. She’s just so real. I want to be best friends with her.
The chemistry between Quinn and Cat was off the charts. Whoa. This is a bit of a slow burn, but so worth it. I loved watching their relationship progress before the sexy times happened. I just loved them together.
I’m a huge fan of Max Monroe and this book will be added toward the top of my favorites from them. It’s so well written with a fun and sexy storyline. The secondary characters are great. It’s mostly humorous and steamy, but has some angst as well. It’s a well rounded book and I cannot wait for the next installment in the Mavericks series!!!

I love Max Monroe books! You’re guaranteed that they are always sweet, romantic books with just enough angst to hook you. Wildcats was no exception. Being a sports romance made it even better, especially since I love them!! Let me tell you that you will love Quinn Baylee!! Full of sexy, southern charm and gentlemanly ways…this man will have you swooning!!
Quinn Baylee is the QB for the New York Mavericks. Cat Wild is a flight attendant working on his flight to Birmingham to see family. Quinn is totally facinated by her beauty. What happens when they serendipitously meet again on the last train to Atlanta after being diverted there by weather? After talking for hours, they exchange numbers and go their separate ways.
While Quinn is the epitome of football super star, Cat is totally clueless when it comes to football. Not being a sports fan and having to google Quinn to find out more about him only amps up her insecurities. Yet, Quinn not being one who goes without what he wants will make you swoon as he works his way into Cat’s heart!!
If you love banter you’ll get it here along with plenty of sexy times. Quinn and Cat are just so freakin cute together how could you not pull for them?
Loved this book and am looking forward to the next book in the Maverick Series!!

Wildcat was such a refreshing read.
This story grabbed me from the very beggining because it was enticing and it stirred a big amount of emotions in me, they were all over the place. I was swooning hard just by reading the first few pages.
But how could I not? If we get to experience Quinn Bailey in all his swoon worthy alpha male glory. He is charming, kind, smart, driven and funny. He is what dreams are made of. He had me giggling like a teenager because of good he is with words. He is sweet beyond words. But of course he has a dirty side. And you are in for a wild ride.
I loved how quickly they realize how good the other one can be. And within their first interaction you can sense their chemistry. Actually, it's impossible not to feel it because it's so powerful it conquers everything and makes a strong presence in their interactions.
I love the build up in their relationship, the pull and push, the flirting, their banter. Overall, their journey to discovering what they never thought they would. And the passion in this journey is intense. and of course, there were some rocks on the road, so they had to fight to get to the other end while getting some scratches, but nothing that their love wasn't worth going through.
Swoon worthy, funny and sweet.

I love every book Max Monroe writes and Wildcat is no exception. Quinn Bailey willl melt your heart with all of his southern charm! He is not the typical alpha quarterback, with an attitude. His pursuit of Cat Wild is a gradual building and this couple has to work at it. I love that there is no Insta-love. This couple has to work at it and make their relationship work!
The new series, Mavericks, has been a long time coming! I have been waiting foe this series since we met the Billionaire Bad Boys series!
It's hard to put into words how awesome these authors are, they give us characters that are relatable and endearing! I always laugh out loud and have a great time with each character. Max Monroe always gives a good time! If you haven't met their other characters, you are missing out!

This book totally takes me back to the Billionaire Bad Boys stories. The heart, the love, the comedy, the commitment...all of it is just so perfect and well done that I fell immediately in love with Quinn Bailey and I didn’t want his story to end!
I’m not a huge football fan. I don’t follow Hollywood royalty. I’m a big reader and love well-crafted stories! That’s what this book was for me!! And at his core, Quinn wasn’t the arrogant, jerk, starting quarterback I expect of that world. He was sweet and honest and the perfect gentleman. And Cat’s thoughts on him after their first encounter were spot on:
Where most men would have come across as pushy and too overzealous, his vibe was the opposite. A Southern gentleman to his core, he was playful and flirtatious, but only when he understood those qualities were welcomed.
This story moved at a great pace. It wasn’t insta-love, but it was squick. They had dates. They got to know each other. They had troubles - especially his parents. They had successes. It was just such a wonderful read. I hope everyone will give it a try!!!

If you think you've read more than enough romance that involves jocks, think again. You haven't read one quite like this one before. I am not going to go into specifics but I will tell you...Wildcat was such a breath of fresh air!
I loved the hero of the story! Quinn Bailey was a world renown quarterback for the New York Maverick's yet despite his popularity, this guy remained down to earth. I was just as impressed with Catharine. She is this beautiful, ambitious, carefree, flight attendant who completely entranced Quinn. He didn't stand a chance. When they accidentally end up spending a considerable amount of time together, he was forever lost. Talk about turning a bad situation into something amazing. Loved, loved, loved how he romanced her!
Besides the giddiness, and how hot and bothered Quinn will make you feel I appreciated that Wildcat dealt with real relationship issues. There was a seriousness to it but as per ush (usual) Max Monroe's will have you ROFL one minute and swooning the next and back again. I thoroughly enjoyed it and can not wait to see how far these authors take the Mavericks!

A nice return to the Mavericks with our favorite quarterback - Quinn Bailey.
This was a fun Max Monroe read, with the expected sharp wit and great secondary characters that I expect from Max Monroe books.
Quinn Bailey is a solid love interest with southern charm, charisma and integrity. As a football fan, I can tell you he's the type of player that you wish all other players were like - charming, appreciative, in love with the game but not so in love with himself that he thinks he's the best thing in the world. He makes not only Cat fall in love with him, but the reader as well, and we already loved him from Scoring the Billionaire and Scoring Her.
Cat Wild gets swept off her feet. She's down-to-earth, practical and real. She's a great match for Quinn, once she gets out of her head.
Denver, Quinn's brother, and Casey, Cat's coworker, are two of the secondary characters that I hope to see more of in the Maverick's series. I'm not sure how practical it is to weave them in, but Denver in particular will stick with you after reading the book.

Quinn is the star quarterback of the New York Mavericks and he is on a flight home after visiting his family although he is very popular with the ladies he is not a playboy. When he notices Cat, the flight attendant, he is very attracted to her and to the fact that she doesn’t know who he is.
Cat enjoys her job as a flight attendant and is very attracted to the sexy passenger and although they exchange info she doesn’t expect to hear from him again. Fate has other ideas as when bad weather ensues she and Quinn end up on the same train and a connection is forged.
Quinn is quite smitten with the quirky Cat however once she finds out who he is she is dumbfounded as to how someone like him would want to be with her especially when others seem to share that opinion.
This book is filled with humor and still manages to pull at the heartstrings which is a great combination. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader's copy of this book.

Kudos to Max Monroe for making this Clemson girl LOVE an Alabama football player. That's an accomplishment akin to hitting the NYT in my opinion.
Another Max Monroe series, another case of "take all of my money." We know who the Mavericks are, we know some of the Mavericks, but now we get in on the action.
QUINN BAILEY made me swoon so hard, I couldn't breathe at times. You know, the kind of swoon that makes you smile and blush and look around while you're reading? This guy, this guy knows how to work for it. And Catherine Wild, well, Cat is the girl to make him work for it.
The banter between these two was fantastic. We also get a lot of well developed and fun relationships outside of the main characters, which I love. The steam is there, clearly. We also see the authors tackle some social issues that are still, for some odd reasons, issues in society. This causes a bit of angst but isn't the center of the story.
I cannot recommend this book enough

You'll swoon for Quinn with his sweetness, you'll feel the awkwardness with Cat and adore her for it, then you'll fall in love with them together. Just a great blend of humor, sweet, and serious. Not quite the knock you on your butt humor like in other Max Monroe books but it's still perfect!

NO SPOILERS!
Wildcat was a sexy, funny, charming, and swoon-worthy standalone romantic comedy and start to the Mavericks Tackle Love series, and I absolutely loved it! The storyline and characters were phenomenal, and I loved Max Monroe’s writing style and sense of humor. Anything these two ladies write, I will definitely read, and I can’t wait to dive into the next Mavericks Tackle Love standalone, Pick Six!
The storyline was great. It was different than I expected, but better than I imagined. Max Monroe did a fantastic job with the plot, and I loved the introduction to the Mavericks Tackle Love series. I’m a huge fan of sports romance, particularly football, and Wildcat was one of my favorites. I’ll admit, there were a few difficult moments throughout, but every book (and real life) has conflicts. Unfortunately, it just comes with the territory. I will say, though, the authors did a wonderful job concluding Quinn and Cat’s story.
The characters were fabulous. Quinn Bailey and Catharine (Cat) Wild completely stole my heart, and I fell head over heels in love with them. Quinn took me by surprise. I knew he was a Southern gentleman from cameos in previous books, but he exceeded all of my expectations and then some. Quinn was sexy, charming, funny, and made me swoon HARD. He was very romantic and I loved his pursuit of Cat. Cat has been one of my favorite heroines from Max Monroe. She was sweet, independent, and more reserved, but no less funny than past Max Monroe heroines. Quinn and Cat were a perfect match for each other, and I adored watching their love story unfold. I loved their personalities and smoking hot chemistry together, and how their relationship progressed throughout. I loved reading the book from both Quinn and Cat’s point of view, and all of their banter and interactions with each other. Most of the secondary characters – namely Quinn’s brother and Mavericks teammates, and Cat’s friends – were an excellent and entertaining addition to the story, and I loved them so much. Quinn and Cat’s story had some difficult moments, but even with the ups and downs, I was extremely happy with the conclusion.
Wildcat was a sexy, humorous, addicting, and entertaining standalone romantic comedy, and I would HIGHLY recommend it! Max Monroe did an amazing job with this book, and I was very pleased with the outcome to Quinn and Cat’s story. Wildcat was an amazing introduction to the Mavericks Tackle Love series of standalone romantic comedies, and I’m so excited to read the next one, Pick Six!

On the plane he meets the most beautiful and fascinating and adorable woman he's ever seen. Catharine. Cat. She's a flight attendant. And Quinn is halfway in love before they even leave JFK.
But Cat is not really sure what to think of this mega-hottie who is constantly looking at her. And then he's also on the same train into Birmingham!!!! And they talk for hours and it's amazing. But then she finds out who he is. And such a famous guy could not really be interested in her, or could he?
YES HE CAN!
And the reader has an amazing time watching poor Quinn fight for his happily ever after with Cat, while also trying not to screw up his team's chance to go to the Super Bowl!

Eeeep - finally the start of a new Max Monroe series!
I LOVED IT!
I already loved Quinn & Sean whenever we saw them in the Bad Boy Billionaire series! And now Quinn's got his own story!!! YAY!!!
And the book was amazing!
I looove football and football romances.
We're kind of more in airplanes than on the football field, but pfffft, it was still an amazing football romance!
It's so adorable how Cat doesn't know who he is and he just loves that.
Those two are so perfect for each other!
Quinn is such a great guy. I love how much he loves football and his fans and his teammates and his gay brother. He's so flirty and fun and sweet and poor Cat can't resist him for long!
This was such a funny and adorable romance - so full of sparks and the cutest conversations and texts and all that sexiness.... phew! But I also cried some tiny little tears here and there. There were some real serious parts too!
I just loved reading it!
► WiLDCAT was such an amazingly adorable Airplane/Football Romance! Hurry to your nearest the store - Quinn will be sold out in no time!!!
There's a tiny little thing I have to say I was a bit confused about. When I started reading, Cat seemed a bit mysterious. She is 24 and just started her job with the airline. What did she do the last six years? I expected some kind of secret, like an accident or a bad relationship or a stint in a psych ward. But in the end nothing about those years was mentioned. College was mentioned a couple of times, but still. It felt a bit weird. As if Max Monroe had a deeper story planned for her and then decided to not write about it.
Also - I HATE Quinn's parents!!! Horrible people!
BUT, I still loved the story so much!!!! ☺
P.S. I loved Quinn's brother Denver!!!!!! He needs his own story btw!!!!!
Can't wait to read book #2 now! SEAN!!!!!
