Omg. Loved!! Had me hooked from the get. This book engaged all my emotions from sadness, happiness, laughter, anxious and turned on. It’s the type of book that I’ll read again, just because I enjoyed it so much.

Another successful story from the talented Vi Keeland. There is something mesmerizing about her stories that has me devouring her books in one sitting. A second chance novel that had me completely captivated until the very end. A truly must read novel.

This love story got me excited, couldn't help but laugh, and addictive. One book that every woman should read, it's like a rainbow with a pot of gold at the end. Layla and Gray were made to complete one another.

The Naked Truth by Vi Keeland

Following an incident where she was forced to fulfill hours of community services, Layla is eager to please the partners at her law firm and that means presenting as best she can to win a potential new client. Upon entering the meeting, she comes face to face with the one man she’s spent the last year trying to get over: Gray Westbrook. The man she fell in love with while serving her hours of community service at the same prison he was in, serving time for white-collar crime.

Not sure what I can say about this book. It was an ok read, nothing spectacular or that we’ve not seen before. I did enjoy quite a few aspects particularly pertaining to Gray. I thought he was a great man with a huge heart and my personal weakness, a dirty mouth. I enjoyed Layla’s character too though to a somewhat lesser degree and I’m really not sure I can put my finger on why. I think she was supposed to be a strong and assertive professional but it fell kind of flat. Like I said, I don’t think I can put my finger on my reasoning. Overall, this was a good second-chance romance, but not something that wowed me.

*I voluntarily read an early copy of this book.

A new and unique take on second chance romance by Vi Keeland and I am here for it! The Naked Truth follows two brand new characters on their search for love. There are a few fantastic twists that I did not see coming and I loved every second of it!

Layla is fresh off probation at her law firm and taking on a new client when she's met with the face of her past. Gray is back in her life as her new client and she doesn't know how to handle the situation. After lies are revealed, she's not sure she can trust him again.

"Betrayal doesn't come from your enemies. It comes from the people you care about."

Gray is back and creating a new life for himself. He couldn't get Layla out of his head when they met by chance two years prior, and he'll stop at nothing to get her back. So many secrets are revealed, as well as bombs dropped, and The Naked Truth takes us on a wild ride of Gray and Layla's love story.

"...we're not over. We're just getting started. Because what we had was real, and real doesn't go away, no matter how much you want it to."

Guys, I adored this book! Vi Keeland shows her classic New York writing once again in this original plot line. The Naked Truth was unputdownable. Shocking and most of all, truly entertaining, I know you're going to love this one!

Vi Keeland has done it again, written one of those books that stayed with me long after the last page was read. I'm still swooning over Gray even though there was a period of time that I wanted to choke the living daylights out of him. The Naked Truth is a second chance at love book that is loaded with flirty fun, sexy banter, and oh the feels in this one. Secondary characters that are so entertaining, sneaky, outspoken and lovable, even one that you really want to hate but I had a hard time doing that.
Layla Hutton is an independent woman, a lawyer who doesn't want to depend on no man, her upbringing has left its mark on her. She is sassy, smart, funny, serious and sweet, that is until she meets her new client. Grayson Westbrook, or Gray is sexy, smart, hot, confident and lovable, but he is also a man on a mission. After being away from Layla for a period of time, he has decided that he wants her back in his life. There is more than one layer to Gray, with unselfish being at the top and the thickest layer.
Will the pain from their upbringing keep them apart, or will things that happen in the present keep them from having the relationship that they both deserve. I'm not telling, but if you love second-chance romance with a few surprises thrown in here and there, then you need to put this book at the top of your to read list.
Five freckled stars for this one!!

As always, Vi Keeland has delivered an absolute must-read! Just when I thought this was a lighter book, the rug was taken right from under me.

The first half of the book is mostly spent with us meeting Gray and Layla. We got to see what had happened to them both individually and as a couple and why they were how they were currently.

Then IT happened.

Vi Keeland threw a curveball I sure as hell did not see coming and that surprise shaped the entire second half of the book. The story stopped being light and funny and it became quite the emotional rollercoaster. There were times where my heart physically ached for Gray AND for Layla! Let’s just say, Gray was a GOOD man, dammit, but he and Layla could not catch a break at times.

Anyway, THAT is all I really CAN say and keep this a spoiler-free review.

Do know that you will fall in love with Gray and root for him from the very beginning. You will want him to succeed in every way possible because like I said, he is a GOOD man and not to mention, swoony AF.

What a fantastic read! Truly a 5-star book that I highly recommend you grab!

This book was fantastic. I was on vacation when I started this book so I wasn’t able to read it as quickly as I wanted to. If I had the time, it would have been finished in one sitting. This book hooked me very quickly and didn’t let go. Layla and Grayson were amazing characters. Their connection could be felt coming off the pages and I just adore books like that. The secondary characters were great as well. Especially Etta and Ella.

Layla and Grayson both had serious trust issues. Reading about them discovering their abilities to trust one another was beautiful. They were both very mature in their actions and responses to situations that occurred. There was one time Grayson handled something in a manner he thought was best. Even though I didn’t like how he dealt with it, I completely understood his reasoning.

I really didn’t want this book to end.

Late last night, I finished The Naked Truth by Vi Keeland. She is one of my go-to authors because not only are her books full of heart, but also full of circumstances that feel very real.

Here is my truth:
This book is a beautiful story filled with betrayal, heartbreak, heat, faith, second chances, and uncontrollable circumstances. This book is a perfect example of the human condition and how empathy can open up new paths to take in life. Enjoyable, with laughable moments that will make you smile. Sexy, with moments that will make you melt. Beauty, that will make your own heart swoon with each turned page. Devastating, in a way that makes a heart wilt when considering life and how sometimes.....things simply do not turn out how one expected them to. This story is another hit by Vi Keeland and a definite must-read!

Gray and Layla have a combustible relationship in more ways than one. Not only is the chemistry evident in the playful, smoldering banter but in the sweet moments that make you fall in love with them throughout their journey.
Gray was an unexpected treat. I had no idea his story would be one of bad luck, deceit, and a deep longing to live and breathe his true love after an unexpected three years of lost time. Yet, his ability to be honest, open, and true while pursuing Layla is wondrous. The character development is perfection as his story unfolds, as forgiveness and a new identity to endure become prominent. He is caring, funny, kind, sexy, and sweet. Most of all, he is simply the portrait of the man of any woman's dreams.

As for Layla, I felt her character's choices, fears, and hopes deeply as she began to navigate finding a way to give her heart to a man who once broke it before; to take a chance, a risk. She is most certainly one of the most compelling heroine's I've had the pleasure of getting to know because not only is she charismatic and lovely, but she gives her all for those she loves. As she opens up to Gray and they find their way back to one another, despite drastic changes that come with any tragedy, a strength shines through her character that in the real world any decent human being wishes to achieve at some point.

Ultimately, both of these characters are an engaging and marvelous creation depicting humanity; in belief that the ability to love can render any one person capable of being brave, forgiving, free, and kind.

Basically, this story is golden and needs to be read by everyone.

The Naked Truth was absolutely phenomenal, certainly Vi’s best book yet!

You need to read this book blind, I don’t want to give a thing away. My emotions were all over the place, I was completely hooked from the start, and I couldn’t put this book down. The world outside of Gray and Layla’s story didn’t exist as soon as I picked it up and I’m devastated that it’s over.

The story flowed, it was full of angst in the best possible way. Both Layla and Gray were the ultimate characters. It also helped that the cover is stunning and the cover model was exactly how I pictured Gray, it was perfect!

Here’s my yeahway list:

Pros-
Written excellently
Powerful storyline
Lovable characters
Story flowed
Heartbreaking moments
Breathtakingly beautiful moments
I laughed
I cried
I didn’t want the book to end

Cons-
It ended

I FLOVED The Naked Truth and I will be recommending it to anyone that listens. I want to give Vi a massive round of applause and thank her for writing this epic love story. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.

Read it, you won’t be disappointed!!!

Great second chance romance. Gray, the Hero, is totally swoon worthy. He has the air of a cocky, arrogant bastard but with a heart of gold. He's made many selfless sacrifices for other people in his life, and its time for him to get rewarded. And that reward? The women he fell in love with, but screwed up and lost her. It's time to get her back... but it won't be easy. Layla, the Heroine, is smart and strong and can hold her own. Both Gray and Layla had messed up childhoods that altered their way of thinking of love and relationships, and this causes them to doubt things. They have to battle that demon as well as the others that come along. Both characters are well rounded and are believable, as are the side characters. Each has a purpose with the story. It's well written and you can feel their emotions, feel their hurt, and joy. There is a surprise twist to keep you on your toes. ;) It's easy to read. Hard to put down. The story flows smoothly. There is some sexual content. It alternates between the two POVs.
