Kinda incomplete, as at the end of book there are recipes and daily menu plans, but the things on the menu plan include items without recipes...so guess you gotta make those things up or find recipe yourself...which defeats the point of the book, in my opinion. Would not have bought this if knew that detail.

This ketogenic diet book is different than most. For starters, it gives you the science behind the process. It explains ketosis and how it plays into the keotgenic lifestyle. That is about the first third of the book. The rest of it is an outline including ketogenic recipes and food that facilitate the process. The information is straight forward and easy to understand. I'm so glad I found the ketogenic diet cookbook. You will be too!

A clear guide for an enjoyable ketogenic diet. From the other books that I have read, none is better than this. It has given me the right ways that I need to learn and understand to be able to carefully and healthily enjoy this diet. This book is very helpful in so many ways and I greatly appreciate the efforts being put in this book

But the recipes were extremely repetitive. I was hoping to find a 4 week start up menu to help guide me but this has basically 5 meals that you at in repetition. I don't imagine eating the same thing over and over will motivate anyone to stay on the diet till you get the full effects.

This is a very well-written and highly comprehensive book which will teach you everything you need to know about the Ketogenic Diet before embarking on it. It tackles any questions that you may have if you're not yet familiar with the subject, and most importantly, it provides a detailed 4-week meal plan which will make things much easier as a beginner.

I bought this book based on all the positive ratings. I invite instructive comment to where I went wrong and could find the missing tools to this diet. The diet is based on a percentage of fats to proteins to carbs and gives you list of foods that are good and those to avoid. You’re told to know your BMI and your Daily Calore requirements, etc., but there isn’t even a link to learn the calorie, fat, carb or protein values of the foods suggested. So, you’re missing the tools to construct your own meal plan and left to follow only the plan written out at the end of the book! Its only 105 pages, could have used an additional very informative chapter.

I loved this book. It was a great first introduction to the Keto diet. A lot of information on why it works and how to make it work for you. There are a few awesome recipes and it’s a book that you can easily read in a weekend and jump right into Keto with the information provided.

I had higher expectations for this book, and it's coming up a bit short. Within the first few pages, I noticed several grammatical errors, which began to undermine credibility and make the volume feel less professional. There are a lot of scientific claims made, but no studies or sources cited. It feels more like a pep talk than a guide. There is some good information, but not much depth. It may be helpful to someone who has no clue what a ketogenic diet is and has some curiosity, but for someone with basic familiarity, you can get more information and detail on the internet.

For the money there are better books out there. Disappointed when I got it...for $12 about 100 pages and print is large. Pretty basic information...Most of which can be found online. Mercola's "Fat for Fuel" is a much better resource.

While this offers a guide to get started, the recipes leave a lot to be desired. The hardest part of starting this way of eating is finding tried and true recipes that really are low/no carb. There are better books that not only outline the way to eat....but recipes so you aren't wandering blind trying to figure out what to eat as well.

I thought this was very informative for someone who is not familiar with this form of dieting. I never had to diet before I had surgery so I'm not sure the best way, especially watching many friends try and fail.

Break away from the Bad Food Marketing Machine and get back to the basics of diet, without all the processed garbage foods. Jamie goes through the many health benefits and then lays out a comprehensive and easy roadmap for the first 28 days of eating the Keto way. I was skeptical at first but after seeing a couple of my colleagues shed the weight while keeping the energy, I gave it a shot. Don't worry, you don't need all those carbs! =)

Love the book because I love this diet plan! Lost 30 lbs doing this year so I thought I'd try it again this year. I love the fact that it's on your phone so I can check it wherever I go like camping or traveling! Makes it really easy to stay on your diet so it's definitely a lifesaver! And really easy to read because the Text is big and clear. Unlike some other books
