This book had me swooning, laughing out loud and tearing up. Ilsa and Tia team up to give you an unforgettable romance.

Ashton has decided to take her friends advice that the best way to get over her cheating fiancé is to get under a new man. This is how she finds herself at the bar where she finds Jax, the perfect man for the job. They share a steamy kiss and he says he will be back but when he never returns she chalks it down as just another example that men can’t be trusted.

Jax is trying to take his home remodeling show to the next level so he is in town to complete his next project. The next day when he shows up at his new project he is surprised to see that it was Ashton that had been emailing him for help to renovate the bed and breakfast she inherited from her grandmother. They decide to keep it business only, but will they be able to deny the heat between them?

I loved this story. The banter is humorous, the chemistry between them hot and the secondary characters are hilarious. The combination of this writing duo never fails to impress. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I really liked the main characters in this book. Ashton is a strong heroine that I absolutely loved. Even though she is recovering from a broken heart, she doesn't wallow in self pity and plans to prove to her brother that she can makes her dreams of turning her grandmother's house into a successful B&B. Jax shows with hopes of using her place as a launching pad in turning his YouTube renovation show to a real show on HGTV. Meanwhile, Ashton's brother Ben is putting pressure on her to sell the place but she feels that with the help from Jax, she will be able to make the place a success. The more time they spend together, the more they start to fall for each other. Ashton doesn't realize that Jax is keeping a secret regarding her brother and her house. When things couldn't get any better for Ashton, her world falls apart and she kicks Jax out of her life. The way that Jax wins her back is romantic and I loved the way this book ended.

These two authors have delivered a funny romance that I couldn’t put down. I loved the characters and most of all the parrot. You never knew what was going to come out of that bird’s mouth.

Ashton is dealing with a lot right now. She has lost her grandmother and is dealing with other personal things. Her brother wants her to sell their grandmothers house she left to them. She has so much debt and is trying to find a way to restore the old house that means so much to her. So she contacted The Right Stud as her last resort.

Jax is a reality tv star who renovates houses and is in town to look at a beach house for his show. He is trying to get his show picked up by a big network and thinks this is the perfect job to help do it.

These two try really hard to fight the pull they have towards each other. The chemistry they have is off the charts. I laughed so much while reading this book. This was the perfect summer read and I highly recommend it.

the thing about the right stud is that from super early on you know exactly what the problem is going to be between the two leads. and for some reason it meant that i couldn't really get into this story. even though i really wanted to.

ashton and jax are perfection together. and knowing that it's all going to fall to pieces because jax holds back some vital pieces of information is frustrating. because otherwise, they are super good together. and he really does it for the best reasons. but you know exactly how it's going to fall to pieces before it ever does.

and then after all that build up, it's almost solved too easily. so i was left feeling annoyed that it was ever as big a deal as it was.

oh well. it's still a fun read. i just wish the big issue hadn't been so telegraphed, or that the payoff were something more than it was.

Hilarious insanity reigns in this story! Besides the unique characters, this book is full of pets galore who provide the comic relief the characters are also full of.

Ashton is trying to hold on to her family home. Gran left the beach house to both her brother and her. Now her brother wants to make a quick buck and sell the house. Of course, Ashton wants to restore it and create a nice bed and breakfast house she can keep in the family. The restoration will prove to be expensive and Ashton has enlisted a young and ambitious home restorer who wants to parlay this into a reality show. The complications begin from the beginning. And ultimately, lies and secrets all are exposed! With a parrot cursing, a goat swimming and almost drowning in the ocean, and men all getting on Ashton's last nerve, you can expect entertainment galore!

I've read a few romances lately that revolve around the fixer-upper, do it yourself storyline, but The Right Stud is the most entertaining one yet. This is RomCom at its finest. It's laugh out loud hilarious, witty, and a wonderful combination of sweet and sexy. In addition to a couple who have such good chemistry that you can't help but root for them, we also get a great mix of quirky secondary characters that add to the fun. I won't go in to each one, but Mrs. C! If any secondary character deserves a mention, it's her. She says exactly what she thinks regardless of how inappropriate it may be and is quick to point out what others fail to recognize. I wanna be Mrs. C when I grow up!
I've enjoyed each of these authors separately and they're both quite talented in their own right, but togerher - well, together they dazzle. This sexy and engaging romantic comedy is one I won't soon forget and absolutely recommend.

The Right Stud is a beautiful romance that I didn’t want to end. I fell in love with the characters and story. Jax is incredibly sexy, charismatic, loyal and fiercely protective. Ashton is beautiful, independent, feisty and genuine. Their chemistry is electric and sizzling. The intimate scenes are passionate and steamy. They spar well with one another and had me laughing often. A whirlwind romance that is a definite page turner. Witnessing them fall in love is magical; they are powerless to stop the irresistible pull to one another. Neither are looking for love but fate has other plans. The storyline is well-written and flows seamlessly. I could feel every emotion they experienced. The secondary characters only add to the storyline and are hilarious. If you like a love story that is breathtaking, emotional, sexy and romantic this book is one you want to read!

The Right Stud is an absolutely adorable read. With the backdrop of the a house that I could easily see as the perfectly picturesque beach house.

Jax and Ashton have an instant attraction to one another meeting at a bar, and basically being all over each other in the hallway. And then he disappears only for them to meet the next day. Ashton's jaded by her past douchebag ex and Jax has basically added to that with his houdini act the night before.

She needs him though if she has any hope of saving her Granny's house. These two need to work together and what happens is a whole lotta steaminess. Throw in some unexpected wildlife and this book had me giggling and smiling throughout.

Honestly this book has the perfect formula for a beach read. Laughs, chemistry, throw in a bit of angst and what you have is rom com goodness. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a feel good romance.

I love these authors andtheir amazing writing. The story is well written and a hilarious, sweet, sexy romance that curled my toes a few times. The characters were warm, wonderful, and witty. Hot hunky Jax was divine and beautiful sexy Ashton was a fabulous heroine and their chemistry was steamy. But the secondary characters stole the show. Mrs. C and the animals are spectacular and so funny. There were a couple of iffy moments for me in the story. I so wanted to absolutely love this book but it fell a little short for me. Jax's confrontation with the town gossips seemed off in the content and the resolution for the B&B was a little too pat and seemed rushed. That being said this is still a fantastic LOL story with great characters and worth the read. I look forward to Lulu and Ben's story and more of Mrs. C and Rufus. "F@cking teenagers"! Ilsa Madden Mills and Tia Louise team up to deliver a quick, HOT, perfect beach read! At first, I thought The Right Stud was a mess. Ashton’s perspective comes across as rambling and unfocused, but I quickly realized that’s simply a reflection of her current emotions. You’d be a little frazzled about your cheating scumbag ex too. It’s actually an intriguing writing style once you get used to it. The dual points of view give necessary insight to both characters. Jax and Ashton work hilariously well together, but those secrets mentioned in the blurb could wreck everything.
All of that being said, The Right Stud just wasn’t for me. That’s not to say it isn’t a great book with fantastic characters, it just felt like it was missing something. I didn’t connect with the characters like I usually do with these authors individually.

This was a rather fun, lighthearted and entertaining story centering on Ashton and the house she's been trying to renovate . She sends an email to The Right Stud to help her with it all. Enter Jax! Oh me, oh my.... All I kept thinking about were those renovation shows on tv. This book was so right up my alley.
I loved the storyline, it was great and the characters gave funny banter. Add in.animals and you have a winner. Quirky animals at that. Too funny!!
But Ashton doesn't like liars and when the real truth comes out, needless to say she isn't happy at all and goes a little overboard but really who could blame her. The house she is in, it is very precious to her and nothing will make her give it up. Does Jax redeem himself, is there a happy outcome? Go forth and read it for yourself. Very enjoyable read!

Fun and sexy! Ashton and Jax have amazing chemistry.

They met and connected in a HAF kiss outside the bathrooms of the Smoky Siren. Promises made that fell through and she’s resentful while he is regretful.

A knock on the door the following morning and The Right Stud enters. Wait a minute! That’s Jax! What’s he doing here?! It’s one of those jaw dropping moments where you wants to stay angry but are too shocked and turned on.

The Right Stud by the outstanding author duo Ilsa Madden-Mills and Tia Louise is the perfect summer read. The story is unique, the writing is great and I connected very easily with Jax and Ashton.

A hilarious cute read! I loved it. The characters Jax and Ashton are the type you immediately fall in love with. After catching her fiancé cheating on her Ashton has put all her entertainment on trying to keep her grandmother’s beach home. Without money she emails a you tube home improvement sensation to see if he can help her with repairs. What she gets is so much more.

Jax isn’t interested in a relationship, he’s a hit and quit it kinda guy. That is until he’s in a dark hallway with a beautiful brunette. Y’all these two are explosive! They are perfect for each other. He’s the calm to her crazy.

This book is full of funny moments and great secondary characters. I laughed so hard at times that my family thought I was losing it. Two great authors came together to give us a wonderful book. Loved it!

Ilsa Madden-Mills and Tia Louise team up to write very romantic, very funny books. The Right Stud is another example of how these ladies do it so well. Jax and Ashton are trying to restore her grandmother’s house. Both have an agenda as to why they are doing so, as well. Sparks fly between the two but then hurt and betrayal creep in also. This book has such an amazing cast of supporting characters, from Ashton’s best friend, Lulu, who dresses in costume as a process server, to Mrs. C. and her need to regale Ashton with the antics of her dead husband. There are also some hilarious moments with Jean Claude van Ram and Rufus, Mrs. C’s macaw with a filthy mouth. This is a fun feel good story. A quick, light summer read that will leave you laughing out loud with a smile on your face.

Well this novel definitely has something... It's called hilarious characters! I can't get over how each character is all out crazy but yet make the novel feel complete.

The Right Stud was fun loving, emotional, and a joy to read.  I throughly enjoyed every single second of it.  I enjoyed the characters and the connection found between the two main characters.  They had depth, and were very easy to relate to.  I felt like I was drawn right into the story, and was there for all the fun time, and all the heartache.

 The Right Stud is a must read for any and all contemporary romance readers!!  I promise it is worth every cent!!

Goodness I honestly don’t even know where to begin or how to review this book without just giving it all away. There is so much goodness packed into this book! Instant chemistry between Ashton and Jax, quirky best friend, crazy goat, a fowl mouthed macaw, a turban wearing crazy old lady, and just a bunch of craziness!!! I was babysitting when I started this book and I put the kids to bed early so that I could really get into this book & I stayed up late the other night to finish it. I just absolutely fell in love with all the characters and needed to see where it all was gonna go & Ilsa Madden-Mills & Tia Louise didn’t disappoint. Great book to start off the summer!!

These author separately are great together there amazing. This book was just what I needed after a truly fantastic day. I laughed,swooned,yelled,gotta a little teary eyed and swooned again. Ashton is trying to fix up her granny home to make into a bed and breakfast. After her ex cheats on her she heads to the bar cause the best way to get off one guy is to get under a new one. And she got the mother life with a hottie except he slips out when things are getting good. But Jax shows up at her door the next day he is actually a big home improvement star and wants to help fix up the house. Goodness I loved these two and the other characters were hilarious. This book is everything!

I loved Jax and Ashton’s story!!! Ashton has been through a lot and just trying to save her family’s home with no help but when Jax enters the picture the chemistry is hot!!! I loved the cast of characters in this book!!! I am hoping that her best friend will get a story of her own!!!

I really enjoyed this story!! I loved the flow of it. You couldn’t tell there was two different people writing this book!

I really enjoyed Ash. She has been through some hard times but she didn’t let it get her down. She fought for what she wanted and it paid off.

I really loved Jax! He is a man that wants to help, but when a bigger opportunity comes up what will he do? He knows what’s right, but what’s right isn’t always what you do. Will it all work out how it’s supposed to?

Life sucks for Ashton in general. From catching her fiancee cheating, her grandmother passing away and her trying to save her childhood home and memories. With this book you will go through quite the journey with Ashton. There's parts that have completely inappropriate characters, crazy and fun friends. There are so many laughs, so much steamy scenes and all of it is just perfection!

I read this book in one sitting and I will definitely be reading it again in the future. The characters will stick with me for a long time. Jax is everything and absolutely slayed me. You'll absolutely love him! I just loved these two!

Studly, aka Jax, is amazing. He has secrets, but are secrets really lies? To Ash, yes, they are one in the same. But knowing WHY, you understand his reasons.

Ashton is a somewhat shy, but definitely strong in her own right, woman that has lost it all. But she's getting it back in bigger and better ways. She just has to learn that not all men are lying, cheating, scum.

A funny, light and sexy collaboration by to brilliant ladies. Well written with characters and scenery that are easy to imagine and will make you smile well after closing the book. Home renovation is so much fun, seriously, and a hot stud in a pair of jeans is certainly no hardship. Ashton certainly has no problem with it. If only she was not sworn of the entire male species. Well, beat laid plans somehow have a way of not working out! This was a book you can easily read in one enjoyable sitting ,so pull up your beach towel or poolside chair and dig in!

Tia Louise & Ilsa Madden-Mills know how to deliver an amazing romantic comedy!! So many great one liners and laugh out loud moments!

I throughly enjoyed this book from the first page to the last! Ashton & Jax have some amazing chemistry and hilarious banter back and forth. The secondary characters especially Mrs. C. really added to the story! I really hope Ashton’s brother & best friend will get to tell their story!

I really enjoyed Jax and Ashton's story. There were parts that were predictable which is why I only gave it 4 stars. The story is not what you would think from the title and I am a huge HGTV fan, so I thoroughly enjoyed the story line. The characters were fun and well developed. I think I would have like more description so I could picture everything more vividly and be there with the characters. I would have also maybe like a prologue with the break-up of Kyle and Ashton for some background of the story. I loved Mrs C and Rufus. It was an enjoyable light hearted romance

The Conch is a beautiful old home full of love and memories and you spend the book hoping she is able to save it. She is a bit broken in the beginning but soon finds her voice and her backbone. Jax is a bit hard to pin down. He comes off as a player but you soon see he is more. The bird is a constant source of amusement....and profanity! You'll have to to find out why, but my all time favorite line..."I'm just another goat in the ocean to you."

Ilsa and Tia deliver the perfect rom-com with this laugh-out-loud story. Jax and Ashton had palpable chemistry from the very first encounter. There was just the right amount of angst and drama to keep the story flowing but doesn't overshadow the humor.

The Right Stud is the perfect Summer read! I literally laughed out loud on several occasions! This book is a quick, sweet read. It had a great storyline and just was an all around feel good book. Don't get me wrong there was some drama, but it wasn't overwhelming. Jax and Ashton had amazing chemistry and I loved their banter! Holey moley, Mrs. C was an entertaining character, “don’t play coy with me. I know a satisfied woman when I see one. I had that same look every time Mr. C took me to pound town.” She sighs. “He had the biggest ***k you know. I used to tease him that he could have been a porn star…” Jax sometimes has to correct his woman, “boom-boom?” He tosses his head back and a deep laugh erupts. “Ash, honey , call it like it was. It was effing amazing.” I fell in love with Jax the man would do anything to keep his woman happy.

A goat with an identity crisis, an eclectic boarder, and an eccentric best friend add color to an idyllic landscape that sets the stage for Jax and Ashton’s love story. Ashton is living in limbo after catching her cheating ex-fiancé performing an unorthodox dental procedure with his dental assistant. Jax is a creator living the life of a real estate developer. Put the two together and you have a recipe for happy ever after - even if you do burn the first batch! Love this collaboration with Tia Louise and Ilsa - a great second success for the dynamic duo!

This pairing of authors are the perfect combination together. Their words blend together perfectly and leaves you not knowing who wrote what part.

This was a great premise for a story and one that has not been been overplayed. The humor was spot on and the antics of JC, Rufus, and Mrs C were hilarious. I also enjoyed the secondary characters and hope that Lulu and Ben get a story too.

I really enjoyed the banter between Jax and Ashton. Their chemistry was perfect.

Hysterical. How else are you going to react to the comedic value of Jean Claude Van Ram, who is in fact, a goat. Yes gods. Jax and Ash compile hilarious and emabarrising moments, together and separately. But both of them have no idea how to deal with the intense attraction they have for each other. They do figure out how to act towards each other in the bedroom, and surprisingly, whole they are fixing up her gorgeous house. Another great collaboration between these two authors!

I just devoured this book from start to finish! I love the comedy and the steam that Tia and Ilsa give us when they write together! I mean who else could come up with a goat named Jean Claude Van Ram and give him shenanigans?! Mrs C’s character is just a hoot and almost steals the book herself. Of course nobody can steal a story like Mr. Studly himself, Jax Roland. He’s just dreamy! Ash ain’t so bad herself with her sweet southern ways and they make a great team in this book!

This one had me laughing from beginning to end ~ from Rufus to Mrs C, Jean Claude Van Ram to Lulu I couldn't help but to smile!

Ashton and Jax were perfect characters that simply fit together well; their banter, their thoughts and ideas, along with a chemistry that was off the charts.

The premise to the story was well-played and realistic making you want to keep turning pages.

The Right Stud is a fantastic read from Ilsa Madden-Mills and Tia Louise. I read this book in one day, opened it and didn't close it until I was done. I LOVED it! Oh my gosh, this book is laugh out loud hilarious, from the banter and inner musings of Jax and Ashton, not to mention their steamy chemistry, to the outrageous Mrs C, Rufus and JC.

These two authors are so good together, their writing flows with ease and they draw you into the story so smoothly that you wish the story was real and you were a part of this cast of characters.
