I’m obsessed with this series and each book gets better. Grier is finally unraveling mysteries of her family tree while battling unknown forces.
I was pretty giddy in this book to have Linus, wooly, and her new carnivorous friends. It’s the perfect read. Now I’m sad I have to wait for he next book.

I must’ve re-read the last few pages (where Linus & Grier finally smooch it up) a dozen times. I loved this book, the build up between her and Linus, the way Grier handles Mr Douche Turd (Boaz), her growth, the gywgli, just everything. Excited and Impatiently awaiting the next chapter in Grier’s world.

I love that Grier is finally coming into her own. After everything she has been through, she deserves to be happy. Her relationship with Linus is headed in the right direction. I think even the friendship with Amelie might be saved at some point. Next book maybe? I am looking forward to the next book in the series!

When you read a ton of books it can be hard to keep details in your head for a specific series. Then there are the few that you can't forget or mix up if you tried. This series is that. Each book gets better and better. I have never changed hero allegiance before but the characters in this story are so complex and grow so much!

So bonus this came out early so YEAH! But boo because now I'm done and have to wait again for the next book! I recently discovered this series and have just loved it. Grier, Wooly, Linus... so many great characters and just a fun story. Watching Griers evolution has been fantastic.

An excellent edition to the series, probably my favorite Hailey Edward's book to date. Would highly recommend for anyone who liked the previous books at all, and new readers should start the series. Lots of great quotes also, Linus with that threat at the end was so awesome.

This series just keeps getting better. Hailey continues to keep you spellbound and surprised. Once you start the book
It is hard to put it down. I read it in 4 hours and can’t wakenfor the next installment in the series. There are enough interesting characters for many more books.

This is the 4th book in this series and by far the absolute best 1. Grier is great as always and growing everyday, but Linus, I have never loved a character as much as I do him. If you're looking for a book/series to fall into and become a part of this is the 1 for you. If you're just bored this is still the 1 for you. I read a lot and I'm a kindle unlimited member and Hailey's books never disappoint.

I love this amazing series! Grier is dodging assassins while trying to learn magic, trying to track down her family tree, and plan a fancy ball. Linus is doing his best to protect her and help her find her place as Dame Woolworth. I cannot wait for book 5.

I loved this book! I'm a no spoiler type of gal so i'm not going to go into any detail but this is what I've been waiting for. I am so happy with the way things have turned out so far. I read all of these books in two days and cant wait for the next

Truly , and truly this author has written a wonderful PnR with such colorful, complex amazing characters.
An incredible amount of mystery and a romance that is so sweet and loyal, fragile and so touching.
I can’t wait for the next one!!

A key is found and truth uncovered, but still so much to do. Grier, I think, is maturing and using her head while her heart is wounded. I’m glad, because she’s better this way. There’s more I want to say, but *SPOILERS*. Need more books now, please.

Hailey Edwards is a master at pulling you into a story that you don’t want it to end. You fall in love and hate with the characters. I can’t wait until the next one. Grier has changed from a scared little girl to a strong woman and its a lot to do with Linus. Love this story.

Undead Waltz is a turning point for Grier in many ways. Her training is progressing, she and Linus discover more and more about her unique "goddess-touched" attributes, and she makes her crucial debut as Dame Woolworth. Getting to see Grier and Linus navigate their new roles as roommates and friends was everything (and more) that I wanted the minute I finished the third Beginner's Guide book. I was so glad to see that Grier wasn't sitting around pining for Boaz after the engagement bombshell. Now I'm even more excited to see how their relationship progresses in the next book!

I recently started reading Hailey Edwards, this is my first series and I lucked out that I started the same week book 4 released. I devoured this series quickly. I love the characters and the way they all grow. I cannot wait for the next installment.

Heart break healing. More secrets reveal. More life attempts on Grier’s life and on Linus’ life. Linus’ familiar is conniving and Grier finally puts on Woolworth Face on. Incredible book that makes you feel all types of ways!

I love this series! I appreciate so much the absence of profanity and lewd bedroom scenes. The characters are fun, well developed, and the story line is exciting. Very hard to put down! I can hardly wait for the next in this series!

Hailey Edwards books are good. The Grier ones though are outstandingly addicting. You can not just read one. You have to have them all. So waiting on the next books to come out is painful. Boy I need to learn patience.

I like the progression of this series. It took me a couple to get hooked. I love Wooly and Grier’s connection. Creative and fun. This was my favorite one. Lots of growth in characters and weeding out some bad seeds;)

This book goes a long way to making me feel better-- seriously, it's been months and I still tear up just THINKING the words "how to break an undead heart".... but yeah.
Like Grier, I'm doing better.
Team Linus all the way. ?❤

I hardly ever write reviews but I just have to say how mad I am that I have to wait for another few months for the next book. Why do you do this to me (and us - solidarity, sisters, amirite?!) Hailey Edwards!! WHY?! I laughed, cried, and heart ached the entire time. I love how much Grier and Linus grow in their own ways and with each other. No rush on the next book, but you're killing me here and someone will need to revive me (like Linus...please send Linus) (...I'll see myself out thanks.)

I love this series. I was counting the days for this book to be release and I was not disappointed! Grier is awesome. So down to earth and at the same time so adaptable. I am sooooo happy how this book ended and cannot wait for the next one. Linus is my favorite and I had really high hopes. I was dreading the possibility of the outcome after Boaz. I was so relieved to see the book taking a turn to what I had hoped! I love this author she does not let me down for a good read.

An excellent 4TH installment in the series! Kept me hooked...answered questions...left some unanswered so you crave a book 5. If you want a good read go back to book 1 and binge read so you're all caught up! ?

This is by far my favorite series by Hailey Edwards. Usually the first couple books in a series are great and then they lose some steam, but this series just keeps getting better. Books 3 and 4 have been my favorites and I can't wait to read what comes next for Grier. I highly recommend.

Incredible! Sometimes I have to put these books down because my heart is touched, I feel so much for the characters and I don't want it to end. Beautiful to see Grier come into her own strength, aided by a man who loves her and then claim that love for her own. READ THIS SERIES! You will not be disappointed.

I waited and waited..and waited for this book to come out. Now I have to wait for the next one, but it's so worth it. I absolutely love Linus and Wooly and Grier makes an excellent main character. Hardships and enemies and backstabbing, through all of it she never loses that ability to understand and forgive, I believe those relatable qualities make this story so much better. Plus she's a low-key badass, amiright? Read these books, you won't regret it.

I read this book so slowly because I feared that it would be the last one. Thank you Hailey Edwards for writing a world that have me a lovely place to hide as I nursed my husband through a serious illness.

This is so very, very good. I think my favorite ring about the series is the growth we see in the main character. She's a real person, not a two dimensional hero. If you're on the fence, don't be. Buy the book. Buy the series. Then go and get the other series by Hailey Edwards.

I devoured this book in a single day. I read the series in a month and was sad when I had to wait two weeks for the last book to debut. When it released a week early, I got it and couldn't put it down. Such an original storyline was a nice change and I loved how Grier didn't miraculously become the strong heroine by the second book. Its a must read!!!

There is heartbreak, betrayal, loss, hope, new beginnings, happiness and finally some long awaited answers. There is not a thing about this book I didn't love and can't wait for the next in this series!

Oh Hailey you keep me coming back for more! I stumbled across Bayou Born due to a recommendation in Meghan Ciana Doidge's group and I've devoured every book you've written since I picked that one up. The character building and relationships in your books are fantastic and I can't wait to see where it all leads. ♡

Make sure you start at the beginning of the series, as this is the 4th book.
I'm left happy, satisfied, and anxiously awaiting the next book. Love this series, thanks for creating an awesome world Hailey!
