I thought this book was thoroughly researched. It was informative, historical and not "just" gossip. As a New Jersey resident and living in the shadows of New Brunswick, I enjoyed this book very much.

Well researched and written book by an accomplished biographer on a lousy but interesting subject. So many marriages, births, divorces -- a family tree chart would have helped keep track of the family members.

An interesting book about he J&J dynasty. It was hard to read about the craziness of some family members causing me to wonder if the money or their bloodline (or both) caused them to push the envelope often with dire consequences. I enjoyed reading a well-written saga/

This book includes small time gossip and clearly quotes from folks who clearly we're not inner circle. The book reads as one big hatchet job because the author doesn't like rich people especially if they are republican. Waste of time

If you like history, biography and truth being sometimes stranger than fiction this book is for you. I really enjoyed learning the family history behind the Johnson & Johnson corporate empire. Very well researched and very well written book.

The beginning of the book was informative. Three quarters of the way through, I got so sick and tired of reading about all the worthless cousins that I was so glad when I got to the end. I realize theses people kept reproducing, but I felt spared to be able to say goodbye to the worthless lot.

I found myself questioning much of what is written in this book. the author definitely has a problem with RWJ IV.
there was a lot that was thought provoking for me.
I grew up in Highland Park and attended nursing school at Middlesex General Hospital in New Brunswick and know how generous J&J has been to the community. Many families in the US are dysfunctional this one is no different. I read to the end. I hoped for some positives but found few. It is exploitation at it's best!

Thought this book would be more about the business of Johnson & Johnson. Instead it was like reading the National Enquirer. No depth, the author just wanted to tell the family scandals. it was like reading snippets from a bad gossip column. I'm sorry I bought the book and it should not show up in the search
for marketing and business.
for marketing and business.

Inadequate research relying on newspaper reports and selected short interviews .
Very little on the early years of the family and company , nothing on who owns what and how they got it .
Full of the authors bias and vitriol .
