This second installment of the Cyborg Seduction series was a good one, but I didn't quite enjoy it as much as the first - and I'm not really sure why. This one had a little more softness and emotional depth that I felt were missing a bit in the first one, but there was a lot of repeated information. We also still see some of the other secondary characters - of whom I know get their own books later on - that I just didn't really like. At least so far! I'll keep reading the series, because based on other reviews I have read the series DOES get better - and the fact that I am a huge fan of Dohner after reading her New Species series, but this one was just an okay read for me.

Not much of story line difference between this one and the other Zorn Warriors. Not much plot development or character development. If you don't think about the emotions or reason the sex scenes are good.

If you haven't read Laurann Dohner's Zorn Warriors series you are missing out. This one happens to be my favorite. The lengths that Rever goes through to keep Brenda are impressive. I love a good happily ever after and this may be the best.

Okay it is one thing to read about shape shifters and new species with hybrid DNA..but I was NOT going to read about cyborgs in space. I was soooooooooooo wrong. I read one book and then bought the whole series. Try it! I love the cyborgs and the women who love them.

Yes! I liked this one sooooo much better than the first and I'm so glad I stuck with the series. Ok, after the first book I got a little nervous that I would only like one series by Laurann, nope. Not the case, she doesn't disappoint in this series either! Thanks Laurann... However I'm still trying to patiently await Darkness from your NSO series, when when when will it be published? On to next in this series... Feeling hopeful!

Although the books in this series are short, they manage to get in enough back story that the characters are well developed and engaging. Ms.Dohner manages to create an intriguing cast of background characters that make us hope for more stories about each one of them. Hot enough for a bedtime bonanza, they still manage to encourage deeper thought about what these Cyborgs have endured to keep their new civilization growing.

I have completed the entire Zorn Warrior series, and the story's are a waste of time and money. The women in this series (Except Book 1 Rals Women) are a bunch of gutter trash Over The Hill women who curse like sailors and have been sexually around the block quite a few time; before they meet their Zorn Warriors. They act very immature to be in their early to mid thirty's. If you like books with very annoying women, you might like these books. I would NOT want these women representing me on another planet. I am Sorry I CANNOT RECOMMEND THE ZORN WARRIOR SERIES. I do recommend Ms.Dohners New Species series, it was very good.

This was fun, sexy, engrossing escapism. Though the plot was almost the same from the others in the series, it was like reading comic books with superman as the main character on different adventures.

I still don't like the incorporation of sexual assault in romance novels, but I'm trying to look past it because otherwise the plot is fun. At least this time it wasn't the male protagonist doing the assaulting.

This is one of the most intriguing stories in the Zorn Warrior series.
Readers get a better glimpse of the planet Zorn. Very passionate and entertaining. Ignore the other reviews the series is good. I cannot wait for the next installment.
Also at first, I did not want to read it because I'm not big on cheaters but it is not what it appears to be. Rever is a good man with a terrible mate.

Ms. Dohner can do no wrong. I am hooked.

Also, check out her New Species series also a winner.

Happy Reading.

This author must really hate skinny beautiful women! I have noticed most of her books have over weight, over the hill, foul mouth women as heroines.

This book is no exception. Heroine is over weight, over the hill, foul mouth heroine. Brenda is her name, is warded to Rever, hero, as she awaits her late bond/mate's brother to claim her. There she falls for Rever, who is bonded/mated to a beautiful skinny human. Of course, his wife is a really spoiled bxxch to him. One night they had a fight and Brenda witnessed Rever being serviced by his 70 year old house helper. Brenda was really turned on by it! WHAT?? HOW GROSS!! Later in the story, she begs hero to have sex with her. They fall for each other. Basically this story is how an over weight, over the hill, foul mouth woman get her hot sexy alien. From the way this story is written I would be surprised hero will be serviced in the future by their 90 year old house helper.

This story wouldn't be so bad if Brenda had a negative reaction to 70 year old sucking the hero off. Come on, even the hero was embarrassed being caught by heroine. Another thing, who wants a guy who enjoys being serviced by any available female regardless of age!

3.5 Tempting Stars

Tempting Rever is book three in the Zorn Warriors series. This one so far to me was the best in the series and a little different then the others in that the Zorn warrior already had a bound(married), who is verbally abusive to her bound and everyone else she meets. Can we say B*I*T*C*H! The warrior did not choose well before he bounded. It’s a lesson to all Zorn warriors to get to know the one you want to bound before bounding.

Brenda has not had much look. She has been trapped in an unhappy marriage and when a handsome Zorn warrior askes her to come with him to his world and be his bound she agrees hoping for a better future and love. But what was to be happy ever after did not happen when her bound dies protect the ship back to Zorn. She finds herself in a home of a Zorn warrior willing to protect her until the fallen warrior’s brother arrives to claim her.

Argis Rever is tall, dark, sexy, and total taken. He has bound (married) with a women who will never value him. Tina is mean, vindictive, and verbally abusive to her bound and others. She does not even try to understand Zorn and it’s people. When Rever meets Brenda they both fall in love at first sight. Both will fight to be together and over come the laws of Zorn to be happy.

I liked Brenda; because she was trying to make things better for herself. Ya the situation with Rever smacked of cheating, but I get it - Tina (yes Tina cheats long before Rever does) is just awful and Brenda is right for him, but I’m not keen on heroes/heroines that do the naughty while one of them is married. I enjoyed visiting Zorn again and learning more about the world and past couples. Like the previous books, it is full of sex and the word “mine”.

After devouring the first story in the Cyborg Seduction series, Burning Up Flint, I couldn't wait to get my hands on Kissing Steel. Laurann Dohner has created a vivid and vibrant world in which cyborgs pirate the skies and a majority of the humans responsible for their demise are not aware that they exist. It's an amazing concept, especially when you add some heat into the mix.

In this installment we are introduced to a milder-mannered, yet uncompromising, Steel. He has no need for a woman and currently feels betrayed by the female cyborg he had a unit contract with who betrayed him for another. After his ship is attacked and they are forced to defend themselves, the crew inadvertently captures a female human. She's everything a cyborg female isn't -- small, fragile, delicate -- and unlike the other cyborgs in his accompaniment, Steel has no interest in taking her on as a slave or a bed partner. Unfortunately, his commanding officer Flint takes the issue out of his hands.

Rena was sent to return a ship that was stolen. What she discovers is the ship is now operated by a crew of cyborgs -- beings she has been told were eradicated on earth. She is stunned to see them and is awed by their size, strength, and cunning. When they begin discussing who she will belong to, she is drawn to the large cyborg who mentions a lover's betrayal. She, too, was betrayed by her husband and yearns for something more. Although Steel denies her, she is determined to show the brawny male exactly what he's missing out on. The result is pages that sizzle and leave you wriggling in your seat. Steel might be stronger and faster, but Rena's sensuality cannot be denied.

As with the previous story, the writing is excellent, the pace is fast, and the characters are fascinating. Although I'm not a fan of sci-fi in general, this is a series I fell in love with from the start. It's hot, it's sexy, and it's something original. In a world full of books using the same premises, you can't really ask for anything more. If you've not read this series, you really should.

Laurann Dohner put the pedal to the metal with her second installment to her Cyborg Seduction series. Kissing Steel is intense, erotic, and entertaining.

Kissing Steel takes over where book one left off. Flint, a now truly lovable character, has found his friend Steel and helped repair his ship, when they are attacked by mercenaries, trying to repossess a stolen spaceship. After killing the mercenaries, Flint finds Rena hiding on the ship. Unwilling to hurt a human woman, he gives her to his friend Steel.

Rena is a "make the best of it" kind of girl and quickly decides to make the best of belonging to Steel, as Steel keeps trying to give her away to someone better suited. To get him emotionally involved she tries to seduce him, and when that doesn't work, she uses a bit of sabotage to get what she wants. The sabotage works better than she hopes, and now she has a ship full of angry cyborgs suspecting her of being an Earth Spy, determined to eliminate the threat.

It will take all of Steel's courage and resolve to save the girl he knows is innocent. It will take all of Rena's determination to prove to Steel that he is doing this for more than just good will. Together they'll stop Earth from discovering the Cyborg's home planet while helping the Cyborgs remember why they fought so hard to be free.

The heroine, Rena is likable right away. Determined to get away from her unhappy past, so determined that the fear of discovering cyborgs exist, is dissolved quickly into understanding that their existence provides a brighter future for her. This quick understanding, and her lack of hysteria as each day she faces new challenges in the cyborg world shows her courage and enables the audience to enjoy her interactions. Her determination to keep Steel is understandable; he's the only Cyborg onboard that isn't determined to kill her or rape her to destroy the perceived threat. Put that way; it's easy to understand how quickly they discover intimacy.

Steel is Ms. Dohner's second Cyborg hero, and he's loveable far faster than Flint. He's far better at analyzing these irritating emotions that keep infiltrating him, and he's far less suspicious than his predecessor. Unfortunately, like many romance heroes before him, he's got a predetermined plan, which did not include falling in love with our beautiful heroine. Sticking to his plan means not only will we not get out HEA, but in this case it may mean Rena's life. Steel will need to face a few future before he can save the girl.

Submerged in the Cyborg world, this second in the series is insanely fun to read. The number of chuckles as Cyborgs try to understand earthling expressions, and how earthlings have trouble with logic, provide Laurann Dohner with lots of opportunities to amuse her audience, all the while messing with our star-crossed lovers.

The series is better read in order, but this is a marvelous book all on its own.

ZORN WARRIORS BOOK 3.

The books in this series could be read as stand alone ,but it is better to have read at least the first one to understand the need for human women on the planet Zorn.
Brenda agreed to travel to Zorn to escape from a bad life on Earth. The warrior that she was with is killed in action before they land. That leaves Brenda to be inherited by the warrior's brother. He is away from the planet, so she is sent to the  home of a man who already has a human . That is to protect her from the men who have no woman.
Rever is more or less royalty on Zorn. He will provide protection for Brenda. The human Rever is bound to is a Bitch in the worst ways, but he is bound to her.  That means she can do as she likes. The attraction between Rever and Brenda is instant. His honour will not allow them to be together.
If you want to know how the rest of the story goes you will have to buy it. This is a sexy Sci-fi romance, that I loved. I will definitely read the rest of the series.
