An excellent book, and should have been added to the Bible! It gives the reader an insight into the the time before the flood. Too many ministers forget that there were Nephlim on the earth, and messing with humanity, and the DNA of mankind. I hightly recommend it!

One very interesting piece of literacy which leaves a lot of questions and mind job after reading; a book that deserved a slow second reading and a book note to take some ideas.... something to meditate and consider to study along with other prophets of the Sacred Books. I recommend it, both because the contents and because the historic value.

The Penny Catechism is a simpler approach to learning the basics of the Catholic faith; in this book close to 370 short sentence questions are asked, and you get a 1-2 sentence answer in return. There is also an appendix at the end of the Penny Catechism containing basic Catholic prayers as well as the Mysteries of the Rosary. Some answers to the questions also contain the scripture passage it pertains to.

The Penny Catechism is the place to start if you found the several hundred pages long "Catechism of the Catholic Church" too difficult to start reading; eventually you can read the official Catechism for a more complex and mature look at the teachings of the Catholic faith. Don't expect to get complicated answers to questions in the Penny Catechism, obviously. If you find you are craving more after reading the Penny Catechism but are not ready to dive deep into "The" Catechism, you can make your way to the "Compendium: Catechism of the Catholic Church," an "abbreviated" but still highly thorough description of the Catholic faith. The Compendium also has the same question-and-answer format of the Penny Catechism, with slightly longer answers.

Overall, getting back to the basics is what is most important for those who are reverts to the Catholic Church, and the Penny Catechism is a great way to do so. Highly recommended for all converts, reverts, cradle Catholics, and non-Catholics alike, of all ages.

Well laid out and interesting assessments by R.H. Charles, while an interesting read. The text seems a bit squeezed together sometimes, but it's a an average legibility. The text is useful to read. Great price!

This is a wonderful little book! It was very inexpensive & contained so much information that I'd never heard elsewhere. I read it from cover to cover & marked many pages. I've even taken notes & and have come across many similar passages in my KJV Bible. I loved this book!

ENOCH TELLS HIS STORY, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK.. I CAN SEE WHY IT WAS TAKEN OUT OF THE BOOK OF SCRIPTURES.. KEEP THE MASSES DUMBED DOWN AND STUPID, ISN'T THAT WHAT THE ONES IN CHARGE WANT? THIS BOOK ALONG WITH "THE EPIC OF GILGAMESH" IS A RECOMMENDED READ ..

Presentation is a little poor. First letters of a verse are too close to the verse number - hard to see. Verses sometimes broken by spaces.

Translation sometimes a little suspect and shows Christian bias.

I was reading this book, coincidentally, while teaching Hebrews at church. Now I understand the many, many references to angels, and the "blood of Abel" passage in Hebrews - Enoch is a window into how a first-century Christian thought. Jude quotes directly from Enoch. Another very good reason to read it is, besides the Revelation to St John, the Book of Enoch is a preciously rare example of that strange form of literature, apocalyptic, which has many well meaning Christians in apoplexy. Enoch is guided by an angel through places inaccessible by humans, and on the way he learns a lot about God and himself. Many Christians have, some still do, consider it canonical. It's at least worth your time to read and enjoy. I give it a four, not a five, because more than a few words are not rendered as they should be, doubtless because of electronic character recognition. I'm hoping this problem becomes more rare as technology and Kindle popularity keep skyrocketing! Still, a four is pretty good, right?

Very good, though it is not scripture. The words are similar to the message of enoch in jude . It does back up other portions of Genesis around the time of the flood. The jews before the first century regarded it as sacred but not scripture. If sacred is the proper word? Still worth reading if your saved and studying history surrounding the Bible.

I really loved this book. It is very interesting, It tells why everything is what it is and how it works from the moon to the sun, tides and wind to the dew in the mornings and it makes since to me .I have often thought of how and why things were. A great read and I suggest it to everyone!

Interesting text. Possibly the source of the term "Son of Man." For those interested in apocryphal texts and ancient sources of Scripture, this is an important addition to a collection. The translation and presentation as in e-book is easy to read and understand.

The book of Enoch is both puzzling and informative. This ancient manuscript resembles other prophetic books of the Bible even though it was never considered as a part of Scripture. Nevertheless it is intriguing and gives the reader much to think about.

Enoch is no longer included in the old testament of most Bibles. It is a prophetic book that was, at one time, part of the Hebrew Old Testament. The prophecies are really interesting, and if you are into Biblical Prophecy as I am, you will probably find this book interesting. A little difficult to read due to the translation of the writings of Enoch, but all in all a good read.

This reads like a book from the Bible - even though the name is the Book of Enoch- somehow I didn't expect this to be just like another book of the bible. I think I formed my own perception of what it was going to be - but it was an incoorect perception

very interesting book. the catholic religion almost included this in the bible but decided not to, because it was to much. it was supposedly written by the same person who wrote the first 5 books of the bible.
