Useless book. It only encourages you to trade on margin, which if you know anything about trading, then you know that's the most dangerous way to trade because you are actually borrowing money to trade with from your broker. The brokers usually charge ridiculous interest fees for this also. NEVER TRADE WITH MONEY YOU CAN'T AFFORD TO LOSE.

I have been searching for a basic approach and easy to understand concept on how to trade the share market for about 3 years. This ebook explains everything that is needed and more importantly gives examples. This book is easily worth at least ten times it value. Highly recommended

I have been trading for only 2 months, by following the book i have made $3,500. It is not a lot, but i am happy with the result. It does not tell what effects different news articles on briefing.com website will have on the stock price. It will be great if the book include information on which kind of news have what effects on stock price, maybe some real world case as well. It takes a lot of time to compile the watch list from briefing.com. I have come across this small program briefingex.com which can build a list of stocks with price, volume and daily range using all the news articles from briefing.com.

I'm having a serious issue with the Kindle version of this book. I've tried reading it on my Kindle, my Kindle Fire, and my Kindle for PC software. On all three devices, the charts and graphics in the book are all out of order. Completely in the wrong places. When I read a paragraph regarding a specific graph, I then have to flip four or five pages ahead to see the proper graph and then flip back to continue reading. It's as if all of the graphics are placed several pages ahead of where they belong. They are embedded in the text, still, but in the wrong location. If there is a way for me to fix this, someone please let me know. I'm really disappointed in the poor editing of the digital version of this book. I'm honestly surprised that there have been no reviews concerning this already. Please tell me if I'm doing something wrong.

UPDATE: I removed the book from my Kindle Fire and downloaded it again and now the charts seem to be lining up properly. I'm going to try doing that on the other devices and see what happens.

This book is just filled with incomplete information. They show you charts but not how to read them.
For example, the book uses Candlestick charts but does not explain how one analyzes them. Candlestick charts are very complicated to someone who doesn't know.

I recommend ditching this book and learning from Youtube. You can just type " how to trade " or how to read charts. Good luck people.

This is a very good book. The author explains how to profit using day trade strategies. In part 1 and part 2 of the book the author explains the basic patters of the charts (rectangle, head&shoulders and so on ) among with all the type of financial instruments you could work out in trading. A section of the book is dedicated on the different kinds of orders (limited order, stop order and so on), risk/reward ratio and so on.
The vital aspect of this book lies in the fact that there are lots of exercises after a trading strategy has been explained so you could learn better and in a deeper way.
The author takes lots of advices such as taking a trading journal and explains all the types of mistake a trader could make.
The author divides the trading strategies according to the time of trading (early trading strategies, after lunch strategies).
In short if you are interested in day trading this is the book as the author touches every aspect of the trading.

I really appreciated the exercises in the book because they helped me understand the trading process and were easy to follow. In my opinion It could have included a bit more on psychology, hence only the four star rating.

Nevertheless, I thought the book was informative and a great primer on trading. The format was easy to understand, and I would recommend it to others looking for a "how-to" guide.

This is really good stuff, I'm profiting from it. After several weeks of practicing the principals outlined in this book, I've started trading live and am making money. The idea of choosing only easy stocks and easy trades makes so much sense. Other books only talk about theory, but this one shows you the nuts and bolts of actually doing it.

very broad and generalist approach. the author does not give you any strategy you could practically use, or concise parameters for enterying and exiting a trade. I would like to become a day trader. Its not just about making money, but it seems a fun game to play. I bought this book mostly of the rave reviews on this site. I have a master's degree in computer science so I am not a dummy, so this is not a comprehension issue. I tried a couple of other books which are much better.
