Caveman captivated me from the start. I had to know what hurt so bad that he treated Olivia with such animosity from the beginning. I have become a fan of Jo Raven. I would like more books like these but with older men I am of the older generation

Liked the storyline & the characters. The age difference between the characters was a little off putting at first but that was quickly overshadowed by their story & chemistry, both of which were ver intriguing.
Cowboy Take Me Away (Rough Riders Book 16) :: Rough, Raw and Ready (Rough Riders Book 5) :: Redneck Romeo (Rough Riders) (Volume 15) :: Short Rides (Rough Riders series) :: Turn and Burn (Blacktop Cowboys Novel Book 5)

Caveman is Right. But you could not find a sexier Caveman who needed her more. Matt and Tay's story completely floored me. I started reading and hoped it was as good as it looked, but is was so much better than that. Truly an excellent read that will keep you hooked until the end. This is one that I will reread several times.

Seeing the struggle and sadness caused by the loss of someone you love is always painful, but knowing there's someone to hold you up fills you with hope. Loved this story and the strength Tay shows to Matt. Waited for this book what seems to be an eternity, but it was worth the wait. Loved every minute of it!

What a journey from the darkness into the light! Matt was suffering so badly from the death of his wife, my heart just broke over and over again as he and his children suffered through all the heartache. Octavia may have been young, but she was steadfast, and her steel spine got her through the rough times. Matt was just awful to her, but Octavia persisted, and I loved how she worked to help Matt, Mary and Cole heal. Fantastic, emotional romantic suspense with awesome steamy moments, and I absolutely loved it! I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and also purchased it.

I really enjoyed this book. With some of the author's other "tortured souls" I feel like we are constantly hearing about the bad stuff but they don't do anything about it. While Matt struggled, I felt like the inner monologue wasn't so overwhelming to the story. The age difference was a little difficult for me, but I did enjoy the story overall.

Cole & Mary are so precious. I just love those kids. Tay is so sweet and determined. She has a great keep at it attitude. Jasper & Ross are just so mean. This one is a roller coaster of emotions. Matt is so tortured. He is kind if you can get passed his caveman behavior. Loved having the guys in the story there to support him. I don't want to give anymore away.

I read "Caveman" by Ms. Raven, and I was hooked!!! I instantly went to the store and ordered all her Inked Brotherhood and Damaged Control books. I love her writing!! You will fall in love with the damaged bad boys. Their stories will break your heart and make you cry. You will cheer for the women that love and protect them. When I finished both series, I purchased "Storm." As with her other books, I totally enjoyed the story. "Storm" is different from the other bad boys. He's rich, not a member of a club, but has a lot more sex.......but hey, I'm definitely not complaining.........it was freaking hot!!! I can't wait to start reading "Hawk." I'm glad I found Jo Raven!!!!

I got halfway through before I got bored. Im making myself finish it because I need some answers to who is doing what and whats going to happen. The characters lack depth in my opinion. The main female acts like she doesn't have a back bone. And the guy is just a jacka**. There needs to be more background history on some of the characters.

Based upon the reviews, you would think that the main character has the potential to be charming and heroic. But in fact, his character is so angry and hateful that its hard to cheer for him... you only want him to win so he won't continue to damage his two children. There is no entainment to be had in his behavior chapter after chapter after chapter.

This was very different from Jo Raven's other books I have read. The brotherhood books were about a group of young guys that form a tight bond and are there for each other. In this story Matt tries to handle everything on his own for way to long.

Warning: if you hate profanity and/ or graphic sex action and talk, DON' BUY THIS BOOK. If, on the other hand, you routinely read this trash, go right ahead.

I read the reviews, and they never hinted at this type of read. Who wrote those? We have a tortured 29 yr old male with 2 kids who needs a nanny for his kids. Enter the barely 18 year old girl. Sure, I wanted to know if he'd get better and then someone wants to kill him and I had to know what happened. So I read through the book, skimming over the stuff I could until I knew who the villain was and that mystery was solved. Then I skimmed to the end. And no, I didn't bother looking at the two other books that are supposedly included. The idea of a 29 yr. old man lusting after a barely 18 yr old turns my stomach, but call me old fashioned., she's just too young for the age difference.

I don't want to read authors that write this stuff. Some of it may be reality in our world, but I don't have to read the same crap I read in the paper or see on TV. I've already marked this author as one to avoid. But it's your choice.
