A Romantic Thriller (Blackwood Security Book 1) - Pitch Black

I love this book and author. The characters were interesting. I loved the story line which was very entertaining and kept my Interest from the beginning to the very end when I found myself wanting to know more.

Real mixed bag. Beginning was so muddled as to time period being discussed, I almost gave up in first chapter. Then it got much better. Then not so much toward the end. Disappointing ending. I guess it was leading toward a sequel as so many do these days.

Loved Ash. Her character was so strong,capable, likeable. I really got her. I truly enjoyed her and i identified with her. This was a really goood read

Overall - I liked the book and would recommend ti to others - here comes the But - but there are a number of items the editor missed - such as spelling - words left out - et cetera - you may need to reread a passage a couple of times to get the message. But like I said at the beginning all that aside - it is a good book and keeps you wanting more.

Although I wasn't hooked from the beginning, I am glad I continued to read on. I loved the character development, the plot and how well-written this was. I do wish the ending was different, but then I guess it wouldn't need any more in the series. ?

Great series, snarky fun but with nice tension and undercurrents of suspense. I have Kindle unlimited so seldom purchase books any more, but I enjoyed this book so much that I purchased the others in the series. No glaring errors, smooth flowing story.

This was an excellent book. The plot was exciting. The characters were well-defined and believable. It was a story that you had to keep reading to see what happened next. I enjoyed it immensely.

Ash (aka) Amanda After her husband is killed, she has a meltdown and disappears from her security company. She has special opps training and is a master of disguise. Making bad guys go away. While incognito she meets Luke and they develope a relationship. The story started a little slow for me but as I continued reading I could not put this book down! I just love Ash's character❤ Luke and Ash's relationship is not resolved---Continue Into The Black. Elise is a superhero for her great writing!!

I spent too many late nights reading this book because I couldnt put it down to go to bed. I loved her sense of humor while reading through her escapades while grocery shopping. I also enjoyed the romantic aspects.

A good read. Especially impressive was that (someone) waited with "bated" breath instead of"baited" ! The second spelling only applies to a cat who has eaten cheese before waiting outside a mousehole. And, yes, I am a""picky" reader.

This book was really addictive. The characters are relatable, believable and well developed. I'm a merchandiser for a bookstore so I read a lot of books and I'll definitely be recommending this series to customers!
